Our 30 gallon water heater went out last Tuesday May 16th, 2023. I called The Aussie Plumber after hours that same day and was told someone would arrive between between the hours of 8:00 AM-12:00 PM on Wednesday, the next day. I received a call from Franz the next morning and he arrived before 8:00 AM (prompt service). Franz was very professional and had us a new 40 gallon water heater installed in about 4 hours. The area of work was in a utility closet that also housed the air handler-furnace unit. Needless to say the work space was tight. Franz also replaced the old shut off valves with new quarter turns. I so appreciate the speedy response and Franz excellent talent as a plumber. Afterwards he replaced a leaky faucet on the backside of our house. I NEVER write reviews, but my experience with The Aussie Plumber was so positive, it has me rethinking my policy. The old water pipe from the meter to my house broke. Franz came out, showed me how the buried pipe had become a sprinkler hose, & replaced it. I then asked him about RO Filter Systems for drinking water. He sold me on the idea & installed a system for me the next day. After installing it, he pulled out a pocket meter & showed me that my Phoenix tap water has 500 ppm; the RO System has 50 ppm! Franz is the friendliest, most customer-service oriented plumber I have ever had. He was even able to charm my ill-tempered, always combat-ready Chihuahua into tail-wagging submission . I'm a happy customer & will definitely call the Aussie Plumber the next time I need a plumber. read more

This is my second review of The Aussie Plumber and although I had a different plumber this time, my second experience was just as good the first. During my initial phone call, Katie pleasantly answered the phone, patiently listened to my plumbing problem, and allowed me to send her photos of my issue that she forwarded to the plumber. Louis C. was my plumber this time. His demeanor was professional and affable. He even befriended my skittish dog. He quickly diagnosed the issue and told me his plan for fixing it. I approved the estimate (which I thought was reasonable for the job) and he efficiently fixed my broken drain pipe. I could not ask for anything more. If you use Aussie Plumber, ask for Joe Lopez. He was awesome to work with. Friendly, professional, and a great positive attitude that you don't typically see nowadays. My wife is normally reluctant to allow tradesmen in the house when I am not home, but she really felt at ease with Joe. Overall, it was a great experience to have Joe work in our house. On the technical side, he immediately found the leak in our drainage plumbing and provided a range of quotes for different repair options. He also installed a water heater that was a different size from the existing one and had to do extra work to make the piping fit together.
