Love how the price label has additional info about the condition of the vinyl. Pricing was about right. Saw some good deals, some that might be a tick high, but nothing crazy. And to support a local shop, most definitely worth it. But what really struck me was how friendly the staff were. I overheard one of the employees helping a customer and giving them really good advice, not only on selection, but how to care for their vinyl. Thoughtful! As I was checking out, they noticed my selection and next thing I knew we were talking about the band, their previous tour, their upcoming concert, etc. Another customer even joined in the convo. Fun! This place will definitely be a regular stop for me. Plus, living in Folsom, I think they're the closest to me .. bonus!

Walking in feels like stepping back in time in the best way possible…read more There's such a nostalgic vibe everywhere you look at from the vintage clothes and shoes to the old records, collectibles, toys, and hidden treasures throughout the store. It's one of those places where you go in thinking you'll just browse for a few minutes and suddenly hours have passed because there's always something new to discover. The selection is huge and really unique compared to a lot of thrift/vintage stores. I loved looking through all the different sections and seeing things that brought back memories from childhood and different eras. The prices were fair, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and the staff was friendly too. Definitely recommend stopping by if you enjoy thrifting, vintage finds, nostalgia, or just want a fun place to explore. I'll absolutely be back!

If you are a music nut for baby boomer era rock, blues, jazz, soul this place is mecca in Placer county. I've visited other vintage vinyl shops around the area, Cherry is my favorite. As of Jan 2026 the store has been in business 43 years. Dedication, friendly customer service, inventory selection, fair prices must be the secret. My wife is currently in her Enhyphen phase, so she comes here to buy anything about the group. I did try to find some of the K-Pop items that I knew (influenced by my daughter), but unfortuantely, I couldn't find anymore of them. I guess my K-Pop groups are too old for this store to stock. It's cool... The price is a little on the up side, unless of course it was on sale. But even then, a lot of people still come to the store to peruse. Attracted to the Korean popular heritage... They always have present employees that are so kind and helpful. When you ask for a book not only do they show you where its at the make sure you are getting the exact book you asks for. At the registers they make sure you know about any and all promotions they have going just in case you wanted to jump in on any. Did you know that Barnes & Noble has so many games and puzzles and other fun gadgets? I for one didn't as I walked throughout the store I was blow away by see all this new stuff to me. If you are into coffee stop by Starbucks and read a book and enjoy your drink. Well next time here take a walk around the store and see all they have to offer. I've bought several books for my book club, cds to listen to at home, and various gifts for other people. I would say the prices are really good here, much cheaper than if you tried going to a chain book store or even small local shops (still should support them). The store is really well organized and clean. The staff are very nice and helpful if you're looking for something specific. There also is a section in the back where you can sell items but I haven't done this yet. Check them out!

I've been coming to antique trove for years with my mom and other friends, and I'm very happy every…read moretime I visit. It usually takes us about 3 hours to walk through the entire store. The staff has always been friendly and ready to help us with any questions we have, and they even have shopping carts at the front of the store! For those who have never been to an antique store before, it's set up into dozens of little square 3-walled rooms. Each one of those sections is usually ran by a vendor who is setting up their own stuff on consignment, and in charge of their own pricing. Because of that, prices are very volatile here. There was a vendor who was selling antiques for only a few dollars because he had so much and just wanted it all gone, while others are selling things for way more than they're worth (I'm looking at you vinyl vendors). I used to appraise records and one common mistake people make is they look up the record and assume the expensive one they see online is the exact same one they have. Only issue is that the value is determined by the pressing and they're looking at a rare one, not the one they have. There was a Star Wars record that goes for $200 online if it was original pressing. In Antique Trove is was being sold for $200, but it wasn't the original pressing and was warped. Nobody is paying for that. So prices can be dirt cheap or insanely overpriced depending on who the vendor is. What I can say about the inventory though is that all these vendors have such different products. Some are only selling vinyl, others had antique guns, furniture, masks, lamps, clothes, etc. It's easy to find something you'll enjoy. It does take a while to be rung up, because they have to manually input everything and record which vendor the items you bought are from, but the staff is friendly while doing it. Just don't expect them ring you up as fast as other retailers. My biggest gripe with antique trove is the back of it. Outside is a big backyard full of products that just feel...neglected. We've found some cool stuff that is covered in webs that are months old. How do I know they're months old? It's because we come here every few months and the same webs are out there. It's always the same exact products out there with the exception of a couple selling or a few more being added, but 99% of the inventory stays the same outside. It feels like a graveyard where those products go to die. I always feel sad walking around out there. On the bright side though, there is a vending machine right next to the door and I always grab myself a snack because I'm starving with how many hours we spend inside. The 3 giants of antique and thrift stores nearby would be Midway Antiques, Antique Trove, and Stardust Vintage Emporium. With Midway having closed a couple years ago, Antique Trove and Stardust are the two I visit the most. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Each space is curated by different sellers and has its own vibe and selection of items. Depending on what you're looking for you'll be able to browse and search through the spaces for hidden treasures. The prices range and you'll be able to find some similar pieces from different sellers at different prices. There's even an outdoor area that has signs, decorations and more. I ended up finding some beanie babies that I used to have as a kid for a good price and went home with three of them. While we were browsing the staff kept offering us baskets to carry the items we found, although some of the spaces were very close quarters and I decided it was easier to carry items instead of using the basket. You'll want to be careful not to knock anything down and to take a good look in each area so you don't miss anything.
