The massage itself was way more intense than I anticipated--definitely not your average relaxing spa treatment. But Jasmine talked me through every step, explaining what she was doing and helping me understand exactly where my body was holding tension and inflammation. It hurt--but in the best, most productive way. Now? I'm addicted. I try to go at least once a week. We're actively breaking down hard fat, draining puffiness, and targeting areas that really need support. She has an amazing sense for where your body needs help and adjusts accordingly. She was very professional and asked upfront if she should focus on those areas or avoid them. I told her she could 'go hard' if she wanted; while she didn't overdo it, she maintained the perfect amount of consistent pressure to provide real relief to my shoulder. My ankle is a bit of a trickier issue from rolling it, but the steady pressure she applied really helped alleviate the tension for a while. My second visit was with Eva (I believe that was her name), and she was equally amazing. Like Amy, she checked the diagram first to confirm my focus areas. It's clear the staff here is trained to actually listen to both the intake notes and the client, which is an A+ in my book. The experience has been so consistent that my friend and I decided to go all-in on the 10-massage package. We'll definitely be coming back again and again. I told her I had shoulder pain and she immediately felt that my shoulders were tight. She made sure to pay extra care and attention to them and to remove all those stubborn knots. I felt well taken care of and was impressed with her over all strength. Only reason I'm docking one star is that my appointment started 30 minutes after the reserved time. This was not too big of a deal, but just a minor inconvenience. Be sure to give yourself buffer time if you have plans afterwards. There are some street parking in front, but there's a lot in a back with ample space.

I've been to different massage places but this was the most unusual experience. Most of the time the massage was dry rubbing or constant rubbing me. It was also pulsating massage instead of a nice subtle pressure. I've done deep tissue and swedish at multiple places so I thought this was odd. Additionally, when they massaged my neck, I felt like they were pressing down on my carotid artery. Overall, I felt like the person doing my massage wasn't trained well or it was overall very odd. I disliked the constant repetitive rubbing over my shoulders. There was no compression and it just felt like they were just rubbing to make me feel like this was deep. There was no variation in technique at all. I was really disappointed by my experience.
