Jade is an absolute gem and made my first ever massage therapy experience an amazing one! I work from home and have developed a lot of tightness in my lower back due to poor posture and sitting for hours on end. Jade was able to point out that I favor carrying my backpack on my right shoulder just by feeling around my sides which blew my mind! I felt super comfortable the entire time and Jade was so welcoming, considerate, and patient. She adjusted her pressure as needed and shared tips on how to address certain areas of my body that were feeling pain or needed attention. I am now making an effort to carry my backpack on my left shoulder (or both shoulders) to even things out. Thank you so much for alleviating a lot of my back pain and tightness from just one session, I'll be coming back soon with hopefully even sides from proper backpack carrying (: read more

Jade is amazing. She is detailed oriented, able to really get into my muscles. I leave feeling sore but I reap the benefits in about a week. I go back every 2 weeks to maintain my body for Olympic weightlifting read more

Jade is a truly gifted massage therapist, both intuitive and with an expert knowledge of the body. Her treatments have helped me a lot with chronic tightness in my upper body and shoulder pain. This massage is deep and therapeutic, so not for those who just want a surface feel good massage. You may be a bit sore after but you will feel relaxed and much better. read more

Jade is super knowledge and a great problem solver for a body with pain. She can root out deep seated troubles. Cannot speak more highly!

Jade has been my go to massage therapist for a few years now, and I absolutely recommend seeing her if you're on the fence. I work construction so naturally I need semi-regular massages to make sure my muscles are nice and relaxed. Jade is always able to tell instantly where my tension is and can even tell me which side I tend to carry my tool bags on by feel alone! I get a deep tissue treatment and she is able to apply enough pressure that I need to get those deep set in knots out. She is very kind and always checks in to make sure she isn't hurting me. On top of the skill the studio is also very peaceful with privacy to change and a relaxing atmosphere with music and dim lighting which is perfect after you've had your eyes closed after a long massage. All in all a very professional experience and will be going back for years to come read more

I've been to Corey's practice over a half dozen times for Rolfing sessions and can't recommend it enough. Firstly, Corey is extremely welcoming and down to earth. I really appreciate that she's so knowledgeable and a life-long learner with her practice. Her humility makes her great at what she does, but it's truly amazing how she can break down each area of the body and specifically understand how, what and where each individual can improve their current state. I told her my background, concerns and issues and she was able to make an assessment right away. She has an eye for the way our bodies are postured and can really point out so many subtle things we aren't conscious of. Gaining awareness of how we're moving is really something I am grateful for. She'll also gain a greater awareness of your physicality naturally as you progress into each different session. In those sessions she targets specific areas of the body one by one and pays close attention to what areas need time and focus. She was able to help loosen problematic areas of my body and always does a great job of revisiting or targeting those problem areas time and time again. She really does her best to personalize the experience and to understand exactly what's needed. I was really impressed by her strength, she can really put the pressure on if need be but, more importantly, she is sensitive to that and frequently asks for feedback so she can get everything just right. She describes it as just enough pressure to test the body and get the work done, but not enough to make us feel uncomfortable. This is not a massage for relaxation, it's actually work. The process involves several techniques where you'll engage your body and do movements while she pins down on certain areas. It's really not all that relaxing but it does feel like progress is truly being made and in an effective way. Corey constantly reinforces the best practices and reminds us to breathe, relax into those areas and it helps tremendously. Sometimes I won't say anything but maybe my hand will twitch, my forehead will scrunch or something will indicate I might be in pain and she notices every single time. For her, she is completely present to her practice and creates so much trust that I often just go ahead with basically whatever she decides to do knowing that she is a true professional. I honestly wish rolfing was much more common and only found it through a friend who had done work on herself. It's such a unique type of massage and I think trust is important with this work... for that reason I imagine Corey is one of the best of the best at what she does. I always look forward to the progress to be made in each session and highly highly recommend trying rolfing out with her. read more

Great! Jade helped me break down the really bad knots in my shoulders. She managed to find spots I didn't even know were tense! After one session, I had a lot more mobility in my shoulders and could raise my arms above my head - something I struggled with prior. Highly recommend and am planning to come back soon! read more

Corey Wong does an amazing job! She's really good at what she does. I had an injury when I was working out. I could barely move. Corey, worked on me and it was like a miracle. Her place is very clean and green. She has a wonderful collection of indoor plants. The place has a great ambience. read more

tl;dr Corey is a gem I'm a competitive powerlifter (with a constantly aching body), and I was looking for someone who would do the type of massage that "hurts so good" - i.e. The kind that prompts thoughts like "I'm paying for this?" while you're on the table, in pain, reminding yourself to breathe. But as soon as you get up, you suddenly have this new range of motion and think "This is why!". I'm happy to say I found Corey. (To clarify the above, Corey attentively checks in about pain levels throughout the entire session and adjusts to make sure it's right for you.) I regularly made appointments with Corey over the few years I was living in the Bay Area, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a legit pro. To echo other reviewers here, she really knows her stuff. More than once, we talked about her experiences traveling take classes that would improve her practice. She'd often vary the techniques she used depending on what I was complaining about that day, and it really was a great feeling to come out of sessions feeling like your mobility/pain issues were noticeably improved each time. She's also very friendly and plays the most relaxing music during your sessions. She'll take the time to get to know you and your unique body's needs. One of my biggest regrets about moving away from the Bay Area was no longer getting to visit Corey. Go see her! read more

This woman's touch has been the most gentle profound experience of my entire life. She is so humble and she has opened my whole world up to seeing my body in a whole different light. I am also an advanced massages therapist and she has healed and helped my body in so many ways...but mostly, she has impacted me in the deepest level possible. My entire career was highly influenced by her touch and method. She has deepened my understanding of my own body and she does that with her incredible gift of insight into the anatomy of our fascia. Her touch is unlike any other I've ever felt, and I've had some amazing more experienced hands touch me body, but no one has impacted me the way Corey has. If you need help understanding your pain and coming into your true power an optimal human performance, she is the girl for you. Her ability to read pain and follow the trail to the perpetuating factor is a rare gem in this world and you are lucky enough to have access to the healing power of this master. She is so much more than she credits herself too! This bodywork will open your world to a whole new view of your pain and your body. read more

Had a great time here. I swim and climb a lot so tend to accumulate a lot of stress and pain in my body and was looking for somewhere to help with recovery. Jade was the one who saw me last visit. She was very attentive to my concerns I communicated and was also able to find trouble spots I had not even noticed. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend! read more

Corey is a great massage therapist. She combines a wealth of knowledge and education with great hands (and elbows). Corey is very in tuned with the body and knows just the right amount of pressure to apply and where to apply it to properly break up adhesions and trigger points. While small in stature, she is plenty strong enough to give a firm massage when needed (I'm twice her size). Beyond talent, knowledge and over all ability, she is a great person! Very honest, kind, and genuinely wants to help her clients. Book with confidence! She is amazing. read more

Long overdue review for Corey, who I discovered on Yelp! She is lovely, professional, great bedside manner, and highly effective. I'm now a rolfing addict! read more

Being active is a part of life....also getting injuries. Even though I try my best not to get injured, life happens. With that being said I have been seeing Corey for a little more than 2 years. She seems to know where my injuries are coming from and breaks down my scar tissues from daily life situations. I have never felt better, I feel more flexible and stronger in my movements. My mom has been seeing her too and she hates people touching her, somehow she assures her clients that she truly cares for them. From that my moms knee, back, shoulder and hip has extremly imporved also my mom's golf game has been on point! She has a client for life. Thanks Corey! read more

I've had massages from almost a hundred massage therapists in my lifetime, and I can honestly say that Corey is the best! She is always educating herself on her craft so that she can give her clients the best results for each session. Her knowledge of anatomy is unparalleled. Also, don't let her Lilliputian size fool you, she has the strength of a Viking on steroids! Her work always penetrates my deepest and oldest muscle tension. Anytime anybody asks me for a massage recommendation I always tell them COREY!! read more

I recommend Corey for anyone looking for a good deep tissue massage. I run a few half marathons a year, run several if not many 5K/10Ks as well. I work out about 4-5 times a week and play basketball about the same. My buddy does take a pounding. Worst of all I usually sit at a desk all day working on my computer station. My full body always needs a good massage to relieve the large amounts of stress I have in it. For her size I was skeptical at first but (WOW) she did an amazing job. Really worked out the knots in back. (BTW I show up usually with 3-5 in my back alone) She really works them as well as the rest of my body. She is really able to dig in there and apply just enough pressure to make me want to run out but at the same point I feel the stress leaving my body. Afterwards, I feel like I have done a workout all over again but my body is so much more relaxed. She gives me good advice about maintaining a healthy lifestyle as well. She has me rolling out know between workouts, which really helps for day to day. I have been coming to Cory for over 2 years and don't see myself stopping anytime soon. read more

I can't say enough good things about Corey. After a long baseball season I spent my off season working with Corey and she helped with my recovery immensely. I highly suggest going to her if you're an athlete but also if you aren't. She can help you live a better life which entails moving better. A+++ read more

I have been a client of Corey's for almost 2 years starting when she was working at Equinox Palo Alto. I have also been getting regular massages for the last 10 years and have to say Corey is one of the best. She knows instinctively where my body hurts and how much pressure to apply. She is also innovative and tries new techniques (such as Gavilan soft tissue rehab) and is always trying to make sure my body is taken care of. She is also super flexible with scheduling and personable to talk to. I actually prefer driving all the way to Belmont from San Jose just because she is that good, I highly recommend her! read more

If I could give her more than 5 stars I would. Corey is amazing. She works hard on injuries till she she heals them up. I do boxing training and also weightlifting. Like a lot of people, I spend a lot of hours working on my computer so getting a deep tissue massage is key. Corey doesn't just give a great massage, she also knows and understands her craft, so she is able to share advice on what to do to continue recovering from an injury as well as how to prevent them. I can't wait for my next massage. read more

Corey is one of the best therapists that I have encountered. Corey has excellent technique and focuses bodywork that reverses injury or damage from physical activity and/or office work. This isn't your generic massage. This is real bodywork. PS. She's strong like an ant. read more

Health is wealth and I think getting massages are all a part of that as well. Our bodies take a pounding, we get stressed, we sit or lean in awkward positions, and the list goes on. Going to Corey, is like hitting the reset button and my body thanks me. She's really able to dig in and work on problem areas, knots, hot spots, etc. On top of that she's just a really nice person - easy to deal with, flexible, and understanding. read more

I was suggested to Corey from a co-worker who had great feedback about her attention, strength and overall professionalism when analyzing the human body. After my first session with Corey, I was so pleased with her work (excellent pressure, deep enough, and very attentive to how my body responded to her pressure). I believe one of the best compliments a professional can receive is referrals. I have passed along nearly all my clients her way; all of which have come back raving about her work. Overall, Corey is not only one of the best therapists I've had the pleasure of working with she also is such a genuine, sweet therapist who cares about you and will undoubtedly take care of you! I highly suggest her! read more

I had suffered from back/neck pain for over 30 years before I realized that much of my problems stemmed from muscular issues, and not just being out of alignment. With regular chiropractic adjustments, exercises, and massage therapy, I am now pain-free much of the time. Corey has provided me with (additional) exercises and advice on how to maintain good back and neck health. Last year I developed plantar fasciitis and tendinitis (in my wrist) and was told by my medical doctor that there wasn't much he could do for it. I started to see Corey and she worked on both areas once a week for three weeks in a row. My plantar fasciitis pain went away during that time. The tendinitis took about a month longer to resolve. I continue to see Corey about twice a month, and she is amazing! She is trained in different techniques and continues to get training so she can better serve her clients. She has a wonderful, supportive personality and it is very easy to schedule appointments with her. I have recommended her to several friends and three of them are now her clients and she has helped them all. read more

I've been coming to Corey for the better part of this year now for help with chronic hip and back pain. Working in construction, I have old as well as new juries and arthritis aggravations. Corey adapts and is diverse in her methods, and adjusts to whatever is currently flaring up on my body. She has been extremely helpful, diligent and professional with her deep tissue massage therapy and has helped relieve some pretty significant pain. I highly recommend Corey to anyone looking for pain relief. read more

If you need your knots worked out, Corey is the massage therapist to go to! She is very mindful of your specific body needs and always spends time asking about and listening to any issues you need to have addressed prior to working on you. I have chronic migraines and Corey helps relieve them each time I see her. If I had the means, I would go every day! read more

Corey is an excellent masseuse. Deep tissue, Rolfing and cupping are used to resolve tight or knotted muscles and bring relief to sore muscles. I have been a loyal client for over 3 years. The full Rolfing series increased both flexibility and my stride length, and cupping has removed consistent tightness and pulling in my shins. Highest recommendation I can give for her services!!! read more

I've been worked on by literally dozens of massage therapists. I have a few all-time favorites, but Corey surpassed all of them the first time she worked on me. Her approach is really unique and truly focused on fixing your body -- not your typical, boring spa backrub experience. She gets way in there and I always leave feeling (as cliche as it sounds) like I have a brand new body!! Couldn't recommend her enough. read more

I'll start this review by saying that for the last 25 years I have destroyed my body with sports like ice hockey,Muay Thai, jiujitsu, grappling , circuit training and running. I am a trainer as well. Over the course of learning training and teaching I have built up quite a bit of scar tissue. About 2 years ago I injured my elbows to the point that I could not hold my cell phone to my face, or extend my arms out enough to straighten my elbows. Over the last 12 months I tried everything I could think of to try to fix my issue or at least ease the pain that I was feeling daily. From acupuncture to physical therapy to steroid shots into my elbows. None of them seemed to have much effect. I was introduced to corey by a mutual client of ours. At the time I had not heard much of body work nor did I have any clue to what it could do for me. While talking to corey on the phone she explained some of the process and told me that body work would help breakdown the scar tissue I had accumulated over the years and release some of the tension in my muscles and tendons. Over the last couple months I have had corey work on me. The results of this has been amazing. My elbows are not in continuous pain and I have gained more mobility than I have had in years. I'm back to my training and starting to feel like my young self again. In the last couple month I have referred multiple clients of mine who are beat up from combat sports. I will continue to work with corey and to refer athletes to her as I know what she does has helped me more than this review can portray. read more

Known Corey for many years now and she always been able to work her magic when I'm in need of a massage. Corey is very knowledgable and always listens to what I have to say about what I think is going on with my body. She is able to problem solve and treat my ailments. I discovered Corey through my chiropractor. After a couple injuries, kids and years away from my former life as an elite cyclist I was in desperate need of a strong and knowledgeable CMT. As some reviewers note, don't let Corey's appearance fool you--despite her youth and small stature she is very experienced and super strong! Did I mention strong?! Corey is one of the few massage therapists (and I've been to dozens) I've worked with who has the knowledge and strength to address the hip and IT band issues that plague many cyclists, runners and triathletes. She's also the first CMT I've known to work the rib cage for better breathing (and in my case, diminish scar tissue left from age-old accidents from bike racing). Thanks to her I've been able to solve several painful issues and start riding hard again, as well as sleeping better. I highly recommend Corey to any athlete who is serious about their health and performance. read more

I've been going to Corey for almost a year now and have never looked back. It started with unbearable pain related to a pinched nerve and now general back, shoulder and muscle pain (sleeping wrong way, sitting in front of computer all day, etc). I try to visit Corey weekly if possible! She does the best job working on my body! She focuses on areas that need attention and really spends time helping me feel better. Corey is also highly responsive via text so scheduling something with her is simple and fast! I would highly recommend visiting Corey for massage therapy. read more
