Jade was able to point out that I favor carrying my backpack on my right shoulder just by feeling around my sides which blew my mind! I felt super comfortable the entire time and Jade was so welcoming, considerate, and patient. She adjusted her pressure as needed and shared tips on how to address certain areas of my body that were feeling pain or needed attention. I am now making an effort to carry my backpack on my left shoulder (or both shoulders) to even things out. Thank you so much for alleviating a lot of my back pain and tightness from just one session, I'll be coming back soon with hopefully even sides from proper backpack carrying (:

However, even when they are not available, I have had a very positive experience. A few things to note: the facility is a pretty small location and rooms are often only separated by a curtain or thin walls. In other words, you hear a lot of the chatter coming from the reception area or even other rooms. This is not your peaceful Zen spa if that is what you are looking for. That aside, the quality of the massages are the best I have found. The combination of types of massage available, plus the strong hands of the therapists are unmatched for the price. I am someone who needs very deep pressure and like someone to stick their elbows into my knots and I get this here more than any other place I have been to. I think more importantly, the therapists seem very intuitive in their ability to find my knots. They don't just go through a standard routine, but try really hard to work on things that need work. Again, this may not be for everyone because the intensity can be quite high and even painful. But this is the type of massage I prefer. Five stars for quality of massage.

However, the atmosphere in the room is typical with soft spa music, dim candle light, comfortable tables and a cozy room that may put you to sleep like me. Upon arrival, Sunny checked me in with smiles and was also my masseuse for my Swedish massage. She hit all the right points and made sure I was comfortable by asking if the pressure was too much or the bed temperature was good for me. I really enjoyed the minimal use of the light unscented massage oil she used. Before I flipped over, hot towels, more massaging and hot rocks were placed on my back. This was different for me, but I thought it was perfect. It warmed up all the areas she massaged and and removed most of the massage oil leaving my back soft and moisturized without an oily feeling. There was also some stretching done with my arms, legs and neck area. One finished, I felt relaxed, loose and ready for another gym session of lifting! The prices are extremely reasonable as the focus here is on the massage not all the fancy, aromatic things and decor. Booking online is very easy also. This is a great massage joint and definitely the best bang for your buck around here!

She moved her hands at lighting speeds like a spaz and did not know how to work on any trouble areas because her hands were only in any given place for a split second. Verona Massage is located on El Camino, which can be hectic, but there is free parking in the back, and once you enter the building, it gets a little bit quieter. There are some cool crystals and geodes on display in the main building. There are 2 rooms for Verona Massage, and it is not a spa or foot massage place. Shirley takes appointments, and I am so grateful my husband booked me one with her. It felt very private, relaxing, and I didn't feel rushed at all. This was my second time getting a prenatal massage, and I can hands down say that this was better than the one I got in Hawaii. She focused on my knots that I didn't even know I had! I appreciated the quiet environment and calm she creates. She has great technique and applies just the right amount of pressure, although she checked in on the pressure as needed. There was not a moment where I felt like I needed to tell her to apply more/less pressure. The 1 hour was simply pure bliss. It was truly a relaxing and healing experience, and I'm looking forward to my next session with her!!

I don't think I'd come here for couple massages or a "luxurious typical relaxing" experience, I'd come here for a truly relaxing massage that'll help heal your body. Also, this is not a cheap foot massage spot if that's what you're looking for. I think this is actually the perfect spot if you're looking for a real massage. Would definitely come again!

You start off online, deciding what package you want or what type of session. When you arrive at the location it's all the way in the back of the salon slightly to the right. M'lis greets you as you enter her area and is immediately very warm and inviting. She will talk you through what the process is, she will inform you that everything is up to you! How much pressure you want, to what degree are you comfortable undressing and what areas you may want her to focus on VS what areas are off limits. She then gives you a mini tour of her room where soothing music is playing. She will tell you where you can put any/all affects for the duration of the appointment and she will step out so you can undress and lay under the sheet she has provided. She will then knock and ask if it's okay to enter and from there she will get to work! My problem areas are my lower back and staving off carpal tunnel. I let her know this when I initially spoke to her and she definitely paid close attention to those areas! I chose medium pressure but if it's your first time I would suggest light and if you're comfortable asking for harder pressure don't hesitate to be vocal!
