Some things I was not happy with were that the "climate control" was on the warm side. When I got my furniture out some of the off-white pieces had darkened and discolored, I assume from the heat and humidity. Also, some items with glue or adhesive were damaged. I don't know what temperature the building is supposed to be kept at, but it wasn't cool enough. When I rented my first unit there was a trash can in the lobby area where the elevator is, but eventually that disappeared. The dumpster is also inaccessible to customers. There is a restroom by one of the elevators, but every time I tried to use it, it was locked. If vagrants getting in the building and using the restroom is a problem, then why not require the doors to be opened by codes all the time, not just at night, or put a key code on the restroom door? That way paying customers are not inconvenienced too. I was driving about an hour to get to the storage business, so a restroom would have been very helpful after a long drive. Many times when I came to put something in or get something out of storage during the week, the same car was parked right in front of the doors to the elevator. I never saw anyone getting in or out of the car while I was there, so I can only assume it was an employee's car. There is not a shortage of parking, so why park in a spot that is going to cause an inconvenience to customers? If I ever need to rent a storage unit again I'm not so sure that I will go with Big Tex again. They are pricey for what you get.

However, I rented it online through a promotional period for six months at a locked in rate. So I was stuck. Today I came to drop off some items and pick up some items. The place is filthier than ever. They never cleaned the inside, the floors are thick with dirt and dust and debris. One elevator was down with signage advising to use the elevator at the opposite end. When I left my storage space to go back to the elevator with items to take down the elevator, the only one working, was no longer working. I've extended my lease for three months prepaid period. Unless there is considerable improvement. I will be relocating to another storage facility. I noticed that the reviews are all very bad. CLEANING is the easiest thing and the cheapest thing to do. As a commercial real estate professional, and someone who has managed, least, sold, this property is in very poor condition Additionally, the air-conditioning is never working. If it's working, they have it set so high that it's not cooling. This has been the condition from day one. I did notice that the office is closed for renovation. Certainly that is needed as well. However, the office area and showroom filthy as well, windows, filthy, floors, filthy, etc. Once again, I saw someone coming in going to a storage space as if they live here. The staff in the office when it was opened was always polite. Either they don't have the resources to manage this property properly, or they're not hiring the right staff to get the job done.

Dear iStorage Tenant, I hope this message finds you well. We would like to inform you that the insurance policy on file for your storage unit at 4456 North Brasewood Blvd is currently expired. To ensure continuous coverage, we kindly request you to provide us with a new PDF copy of the declarations page for your insurance within the next 24 hours. Please note that only PDF submissions can be processed to ensure accurate record-keeping. You might notice they cannot even spell the street they are located on. It's a nice facility, but this is unacceptable. I hope I can discourage others because of this behavior. Saturday at noon..closed until Tuesday..threats! Six and half years and we have finally been able to assimilate our overflow back into the empty nest space. Convenient Courteous Accessible We were on third floor; couldn't been easier to access.
