I got the Tallerin Saltado Al Carne, and hubby got the Pollo Broaster. We also tried a Inca Kola. My Tallerin was excellent--the noodles were perfectly cooked and I loved the seasoning on the beef. It was a HUGE portion, so I had enough for lunch tomorrow. The Pollo, sadly, did not fare as well. Peruvian chicken is usually excellent, and I encouraged him to try it. My hubby liked the crispiness of the chicken but was disappointed that there was no white meat--it was the back, leg, and thigh only, and not much of that. He enjoyed the fries, though. We both thought the Kola was cool---kind of a creme soda taste. We will likely come again and try some other dishes (but I could wind up getting the Tallerin again!) The reason for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 was the wonky food truck/dining room setup and the disappointment on the chicken. These folks have the right idea, and if they can improve the chicken and the ambiance factor, they could do well.

Southern Thyme Grill is a great addition to the growing fleet of food trucks on the NC coast and one that I will be visiting again.
