My husband brought in his uniform, patches, and printed out the specific instructions for them to use. I go to pick his uniforms up a few days later and my husband tells me that it's been done wrong. They sewed his name patch ON the pocket flap when the instructions specified that it belongs ABOVE the pocket flap. No branch of the military has the name patch sewn on the actual flap which led me to believe that they in fact did not have experience with military uniforms. They also cut the name patch incorrectly so it's no longer usable. We had to order new ones which cost $20, and they were back ordered. Great. We ended up getting a partial refund from the business, but were not reimbursed for the name patches. I'm sure this business does well with dresses and suits, but I'd probably go somewhere else for military uniforms, especially when you brought in a physical copy of instructions on where the patches go, that they didn't even look at.

When I asked her about it, she said it wasn't there before (which tells me that it happened in the shop, which it did). However she did not offer to dry clean it or try to get the stain out. I initially chose a less expensive seamstress for my wedding dress alterations, and unfortunately, the neckline was completely botched and uneven. With my wedding only being 1 month away, this was a huge disappointment and caused an unnecessary additional amount of stress. I brought my dress to Carole, who was recommended by the bridal shop, and she was an absolute pleasure. She fixed the neckline beautifully and, while working on the dress, also noticed that the original bustle had been poorly done and was likely to break. Only 1 button for all that fabric (right where my bottom hits the chair), I mean come on! Carole fixed it beautifully with a French bustle. Before and after photo below. What I appreciate most is that she was willing to take on someone else's work and fix it, even though I had originally passed on her because her quote was higher. I called Nada and she asked me a few questions and set up and appointment for the following week to come in for a fitting to check what needed to be done. She took her time and asked me what I was looking to do and even told me her opinion on what needed to be taken in. She asked me my budget and worked with me to come to a realistic price which was still within my budget. As the hour went by she pinned the dress and I was on my way. Nada set up my next 2 appointments and ensured I was on her calendar. Come to my second fitting, I get there and try on my dress. She didn't want to do too many alterations so far away from my wedding, so it was perfect to see where I lost weight and take in more areas. Again, she gave me her professional opinion on what needed to be taken in and altered. 3rd and final meeting comes and it fits perfectly. I wanted lace added to the top of the cups which she has to do by hand and it was BEAUTIFUL. She did some last min touch ups and suggested she steam my dress so I didn't have to do it the day of and I'm glad she did. The dress fit perfectly and I looked amazing in it.
