Jeff was fantastic, it is nice to find a guy who knows his work and I think the price was more than fair.

We first met Paul and the team around 1995 as a happenstance of where my car was towed but we…read morequickly became huge fans of theirs no only for their routine maintenance help but also for their professional and honest help when a vehicle was on the fritz. We had old jalopies and brand new cars off the showroom floor that they assisted with and their service was always the same - reasonably priced, friendly and fast. The brand was made for me even before Paul was the owner and just an employee at this location. It is 2019 and I live in California and have for years (since 2004 actually) but this evening, as I have a number of times over the years, told friends and family about Paul and company. My oldest daughter still lives locally and I was telling her about them as well as my second daughter who lives in Southern California and wishing we could take her car to Paul for an opinion. This place is the real deal and I wish there were more just like them.

It was 1:00 pm. They advised me the radiator hose was leaking. It would take 2-3 hours to cool down. And also has to order the hose. Gave me the cost which was very fair. I was able to leave the car with them and get it the next morning. I was very impressed. They will be seeing me again. Joe Pollack

I have intermittently come to Hopkins T&A for various issues when I need a repair service nearby…read morethat won't charge an arm and a leg for basic maintenance issues. I am from south central MN and have a family mechanic and tow insurance for the distance there for larger issues, but for smaller issues I would like to not have to drive an hour and drop off my car and borrow one and the whole rigamarole. It's nice to have somewhere nearby. In my experience, I remember the service to be timely, not too costly, and well done. I get a solid, uncomplicated description of the issues otherwise existing in my vehicle as a person without car background, past what I've picked up as a regular commuter, some of what was described to me being more or less what I'd anticipated with a used $3k Toyota Corolla that I've had for a few years now. I appreciate being able to text Lisa regarding issues that come up and negotiate time to come by to get it looked at, so I can pass along accurate written information at my convenience, versus some other auto places in the area I've tried to go through that were phone call only. I plan to go in soon for what I suspect is a spark plug needing replacement. Thanks for being a worthy auto repair recommendation :)

Love this place which is like a Level 1 Resuscitation Center for Land Rovers (LRs). I love my LRs…read moreand when they are sick, this is the only place allowed to touch them. Auto Repair is a lot like Human Repair and frankly, going somewhere big and fancy with marble floors, a lobby barista, and a piano player by a fireplace means absolutely nothing when it comes to competence. In fact, there is likely an inverse relationship to the level of fancy amenities and ability to actually fix what is wrong. Glitz can cover up a lot and I guarantee that if I am shot or stabbed, I want to go to the County Trauma Center and not the place with building wings endowed by a sheik. The same is true for my LRs. When they need help, they go here and not the fancy dealer with the glass showroom. Owned and operated by Eric, he got his initial training by LR and then left the dealer to open his own shop. He was factory trained and I have been bringing my babies to him for about 20 years. In that time, he has been fair, given me some great advice, and helped me keep my LRs running well which is saying something as my newest one is 15 years old and my oldest ones are 23 years old. Prices are within reason (especially when compared to dealers) but the real win is that he and his staff know their way around a LR. Just drive onto their lot and it looks like a LR playground because there are no less than a dozen different ones parked there at any point in time to admire. Over the years his reputation and business has grown which speaks volumes as dedicated LR owners can be a fickle group and hold very specific requirements on who can actually touch their LRs. I let him touch mine. This place has a following that is well-deserved.
