Discovering Tim Hesse at Richfield Wheel Alignment was a godsend for my family. Recently, I realized my wife's Mazda3 had a serious alignment issue. Scratch that; let me be honest: I've known for many months that her alignment needed adjusting, but because I did not have a shop I trust for alignments, I simply put off finding a solution. I ended up visiting Midas in Eden Prairie. Well, Midas would not even perform the alignment repair -- unless I forked over $2,000 for various "needed" repairs on her car. Mind you, this is a 2004 Mazda3 that is worth about $4,500. No thanks. My brother-in-law recommended Tim at Richfield Wheel Alignment to me. Tim's father Ron started the business in Richfield back in 1958. Just give their shop a call, and you'll get an appointment scheduled without a problem. Here's the beauty of taking your car in to Tim for an alignment tune-up: because his expertise is alignments (as compared to a general auto mechanic), Tim has no reason or capability to up-sell you with countless other repairs/maintenance items in order to drive up your invoice. He's an honest, kind man, and a pleasure to work with. Their pricing is reasonable -- slightly lower than the chain stores like Midas or Firestone. I fully intend to take my family's cars/vans to Richfield Wheel Alignment for many years to come.

T&T Automotive has become our go-to auto shop, after switching over a couple of years ago. They always do a good job of explaining things to me, without making me feel like an idiot, and don't try to trick me into unnecessary services. The latest example was when my car wouldn't start in the driveway. I had T&T tow it to their garage and perform a 1.5 days testing it out. They ran several tests and plugged in the computer scanner, without finding any issues. The service tech, George I believe, insisted on keeping it overnight to see if trying to start the car in the morning made a difference. There wasn't anything he could determine and the car started just fine for him (of course) and has been running smoothly for me the past couple of days. He also advised me to hold off on some non-critical repairs I had scheduled for a couple of weeks, to see if this non-starting issue came back. I really appreciate that, because if the starting issue comes back and is serious, I would be disappointed if I had paid for a couple of control arms to be replaced... That's what I appreciate about T&T, they're super honest and have given me good repairs that don't break the bank (no unnecessary fluff).
