They always do a good job of explaining things to me, without making me feel like an idiot, and don't try to trick me into unnecessary services. The latest example was when my car wouldn't start in the driveway. I had T&T tow it to their garage and perform a 1.5 days testing it out. They ran several tests and plugged in the computer scanner, without finding any issues. The service tech, George I believe, insisted on keeping it overnight to see if trying to start the car in the morning made a difference. There wasn't anything he could determine and the car started just fine for him (of course) and has been running smoothly for me the past couple of days. He also advised me to hold off on some non-critical repairs I had scheduled for a couple of weeks, to see if this non-starting issue came back. I really appreciate that, because if the starting issue comes back and is serious, I would be disappointed if I had paid for a couple of control arms to be replaced... That's what I appreciate about T&T, they're super honest and have given me good repairs that don't break the bank (no unnecessary fluff). My dealer told me I only had about 10% of life left on them. I was surprised at that, because I drive with a central eye to gas mileage. I coast up to stops as often as possible. After Joe looked at them, he told me I had about 90% life on them and didn't recommend doing anything with them. The second and third times I took the car in, I expected to be told I had muffler problems and then a CV boot problem. Again, Joe diagnosed minor problems, showed me what the actual problem was and then did minimal repair. I think I've spent a total of $40 on all three visits! Car is running great and I just cleared another dealership check-up with no problems. I'll be heart-broken if Joe ever retires.....

I was told I needed new rear brakes, so I planned to replace them myself on Saturday, 12/29/25. When I went to start the job, my security socket was nowhere to be found. So much for my Saturday project. The shop was closed for the weekend, so I couldn't resolve it. I met with the owner, Dan, on Monday. He ordered a new set of security lugs in hopes that the key would work. It did not. The tech had misplaced my original key during the brake inspection. Needless to say, it was a major inconvenience--and I didn't receive so much as an apology from the owner. This was my experience as a first-time customer. I spoke to Dan and he gave me a quick quote, said they could squeeze me in now if I were game. I said, "heck yes!" And by 11:30 they were finished replacing my light and I was on my merry way! I cannot tell you pleased I am with their service and reactionary behavior. It's difficult at best for a woman to received honest and swift car repairs, let alone close to home. I like their no nonsense approach and will recommend them to anyone needing assistance in the area. It's a lot easier to get to them as well because the road construction in the area has moved west of them on 66th.
