They have serviced our vehicles for years. Family owned, and just really good, honest guys.

A shock on our SUV just started dragging on the ground en route to MSP. John's squeezed us in and took care of it.

Everything was perfect during his time.He really gave attention to his customers and was very helpful. I needed a transmission service last month so with the past good experiment I came to this place, again. My car stayed there all day and then they told me that I did need a transmission service. The front desk person told me that, they can rebuild the transmission with the cost of $ 4100. I asked him if they can find an used transmission and then install it. He told me ,sorry there isn't any used transmission they can find. I asked him, if I find a used one and they can install; he said they don't do that.7 So, his goal was to rebuild the transmission and charge me $ 4100 +. I didn't follow his advice and left. Then, I found a used transmission in Wisconsin online, bought it and delivered it for $ 800. I went to my mechanic garage, they did a fantastic job and replaced the transmission. It was $ 1500 total, part+labor. I saved lots of money and my car is running perfectly on the road. I will never go for any service to Transmission Service store again. Unless, Russ decides to come back.

I have NOT bought a Car since 2006 and was never the type to Keeping Up with the Jones. Anyways I notice when going to work early morning my Chevy Trailblazer (Who I named Old Faithful) was reving really hard. As I continued to drive it out to where I had to go the Check Engine light went on. I had this problem before which is an Engine Misfire. On one of the Sparkplugs and Cylinders. I had contact my relative and she sent me to Midas In Eden Prairie, MN. Boy DID I MAKE A BIG MISTAKE. Midas told me I had to replace a whole cylinder head!! IT was gonna cost me $6k!! That is like a good used car! On top of that they we're inspecting other parts of the car that was not necessary! Unfortunately, I had to pay $122 for the diagnostic but I by change had contacted on Craig's List another Mechanic who referred me to Erik. I had told Erick and he himself was shocked at my story! He new Midas was BS-ing and I went to him. My engine was still fine! I just needed new spark plugs which he believed Midas technicians damage by pulling it out the improper way and new great quality coils which I should have don vs buying from Ebay. All in All I only spent $400 and my engine was running great. Please come over here! He won't rip you off with Lies about the car! 5 stars in my book especially coming from Chicago, IL.

I hired Caleb, the owner, to fix a mysterious but significant leak under my 1994 Jeep Wrangler…read more I knew it was coolant and figured it was a hose underneath where I saw fluid on the hose underside. I bought a replacement hose myself and replacement coolant to save Caleb a trip to the auto parts store, though he offered to do it. When he arrived, Caleb wasted no time getting to work. He clearly knows what he's doing. His dirty work clothes and worn out boots were signs that this guy actually works for a living. Within 15-20 minutes, he knew that the issue was not the hose, but he replaced it anyway. He determined it was a water pump. Off the top of his head, he knew this pump would be easy to find at an auto parts store, and he knew how much it would cost (an educated guess that proved accurate!). He agreed to pick it up and come back another day for the repair. On his return trip, Caleb worked efficiently and did the whole job himself in a couple of hours. He made sure everything was working great before he left. He even fixed another minute issue I had in about 5 minutes. He also knew enough about these Jeeps to advise on my questions about getting a hardtop. Though he looks very young, this guy knows what he's doing. He started his career fixing big rigs. If he can fix a big rig, he can fix your car. His rates are better than the garages, and he's legit. It's nice to not have to haul the car to a garage. For 2 trips to the house and a total of about 3 hours of labor, he charged about $435 for labor. For the part, he charged me only what the part was at the auto parts store--$55. So, I was out $490 and feel like I got a good value from a top-notch mechanic. I'd hire Caleb back without hesitation. Just one word of advice for you. Understand that he's driving all over the place and not knowing exactly what he's dealing with at any location until he gets there. So, it's tough for him to keep a tight schedule. Be forgiving for a very unique service. You will love his quality work and friendly demeanor. Really nice guy.
