Get the job done but there's no over fill lot so they just park your car/truck on the street if it gets hit not on them and if parts get stolen off your vehicle like I had done to me it's not there issue you want to trust a shop to fix and protect your vehicle tell the job is done but this shop failed at that. read more

Unfortunately, I will have a bad review this time. The service went down very bad after the original owner Russ sold the company to the next door and left. Everything was perfect during his time.He really gave attention to his customers and was very helpful. I needed a transmission service last month so with the past good experiment I came to this place, again. My car stayed there all day and then they told me that I did need a transmission service. The front desk person told me that, they can rebuild the transmission with the cost of $ 4100. I asked him if they can find an used transmission and then install it. He told me ,sorry there isn't any used transmission they can find. I asked him, if I find a used one and they can install; he said they don't do that.7 So, his goal was to rebuild the transmission and charge me $ 4100 +. I didn't follow his advice and left. Then, I found a used transmission in Wisconsin online, bought it and delivered it for $ 800. I went to my mechanic garage, they did a fantastic job and replaced the transmission. It was $ 1500 total, part+labor. I saved lots of money and my car is running perfectly on the road. I will never go for any service to Transmission Service store again. Took my car into Nelson's for an oil change with a concern about my car kicking forward. They couldn't find anything wrong so they referred me here. I was hesitant due to location from work/home but they were worth the extra drive. They treated me with respect and explained thoroughly what they saw and what they recommended. They took my concerns seriously and when I brought up how another place mentioned my belts needed replacement, they took the extra time to look at those and ease my concerns (super nice and GREAT service). Their prices were extremely reasonable, quick on servicing and great communication. I would DEFINITELY come back. They also have key drop off! read more

Last week was a horrible week.... I am working in Richfield as a consultant and renting a loft apartment in Webster, but I live in Castle Rock Colorado. Anyway last Wednesday November 20th I messed up and had to make three trips between Richfield and Webster and on the third lap up 35 I got stuck behind one of the morning accidents. After about 20 mins of stop and go driving, suddenly I got errors messages and on my 2002 Volvo S60 "URGENT TRANSMISSION SERVICE REQUIRED". This happened once before and the net result was I ended up replacing the transmission. I took the car to the local Volvo dealer who pronounced the replacement tranny DOA and offered to replace it for just under $6,000 plus labor. Well by the time they rolled in labor and all the other goodies, the repairs are likely more than the value of the car. When I asked for alternatives, the one suggestion was "take it to TSI in Richfield". Frankly those six little words were worth all the monies the dealer charged to plug in a read the codes.... I called TSI and spoke with Roger, who gave me some hope that my beloved S60 might live again, and last Friday AAA towed the car there. (I had to fly home Thursday to Colorado so this was all over the phone.) TSI basically had a good idea of what I was willing to pay and frankly how desperately I needed the car, and here's what they did just a short time ago. Roger called and told me that there was nothing they could do. But is wasn't a nothing in that the car was DOA, but that everyone there had driven the car several times and while the shifting wasn't perfect it was working just fine. Also, the codes had apparently been cleared and there were no new codes. Even more surprising Roger arranged to take the car next door to have a safety issues the dealer found corrected. Even more surprising, Roger and TSI aren't charging me a dime for their time and troubleshooting efforts. The could have easily asked me for diagnostics or even charged me for unnecessary repairs, but they choose not to. I have to tip my hat to Roger and TSI and frankly they seem to be the exception, honest, decent business people. Thanks Guys! read more

It started with an annoying jerk between shifts. The truck was running basically fine, and 2 other shops that I trust had attempted to diagnose the issue (and both charge me) twice! After a little research I decided to give TSI a try. As soon as I walked in l, I knew I was in good hands. The office is very clean, and comfortable. The staff is great! Very professional, polite, and eager to assist! They all went way above and beyond. Not just trying to diagnose one thing or another, they went through the whole truck with a fine toothed comb making sure not only was my initial concern addressed, but that there wasn't anything else going on. The diagnosis revealed a very common problem and a cheap and easy fix. I opted to make the repairs myself. They were even nice enough to include a schematic to better assist me in my repairs. That is truly incredible! I highly recommend TSI. My profession requires that I have reliable transportation 24/7 at a moments notice, and it is such a relief to have such honest and hard-working mechanics out there! I never look forward to needing a mechanic, but I do look forward to doing business there again should the need arise! read more

Yesterday was lousy. My transmission went out while I was driving to work. Thankfully this shop was recommended to me by another mechanic (who was too busy to take my car). AAA took hours to finally tow my car to TSI. It was late in the day but they were still able to take a look, order the part needed and had my car ready to roll 24 hours later. Greatly appreciated. They are a full service shop so this is my new go-to spot, and much closer to home than my last place. read more

TSI is the BEST auto repair shop I have ever gone to. I was referred here by my previous shop and have never gone back. They did good work but charged for evaluating problems and the charge for that was once higher than the repair itself, this seems to be the standard in the industry. TSI does not! There have been numerous times when they could have taken advantage of my ignorance. One time I was driving someone to the airport and suddenly there was a terrible grinding sound coming from under the hood. I was not able to stop to have the car towed to the shop. I called TSI and although they had just closed but one of the guys waited for me to get there. I left the car overnight so it could be evaluated, feeling sick with worry that the engine was shot. I got a call the next morning and was told that a screw had come loose and had gotten wedged in some part. They got it out and I don't remember what I was charged but as I recall it was under $15! They could have told me that the engine had to be rebuilt and I would have believed it. Once they loaned me one of their cars to get home rather than taking a bus or sitting in the waiting area for hours (which I would actually enjoy since it's such a friendly environment). Another time I was given a ride home in the morning and then picked up and driven back to the shop when my car was ready. I have numerous similar stories. As a woman who has never taken the time to learn the basics of auto mechanics other than changing a flat tire, doing an oil change, and once replacing the gasket on the water pump. I completely trust them and feel well taken care of, I feel comfortable calling or taking my car in when I've had concerns about a funny sound, or a check engine light coming on and either the problem is fixed or I'm reassured that it's not a problem and why. I could go on and on with numerous illustrations that support my devotion to TSI and everyone that works there. They feel like family to me. read more
