There was a nice crew working, that seemed genuinely happy at their job, which is rare and refreshing. I get fully synthetic oil changes which are over $100 here. They usually top off some of my other fluids, check the lights, tires, etc. I feel they only did the oil change. nothing else. I was in and out in less than 15 min. I do feel like they should have at least topped off my windshield wiper fluid.

My most recent visit, my muffler cracked and was dragging. They got my car in right away and assessed the issue. They gave me two prices, one that they could get done right away and another one if I could wait a few days, they could get a lower price. I for 1) was looking on the wrong side if the street and 2) there is another car place directly next door. Ample parking, so I picked one & went and verified the address. Service: friendly enough, you can tell he isnt a talker, but was professional and nice. I advised what I was there for and for whom, they already called ahead to inform him I was coming. As far as the service on the car, they seemed pleased and would continue doing business again, if need be.

Battery going dead so I bought a new one from Autozone. Battery still went dead so I took it to Midas. They said they would have to hook up the diagnostic machine up for $99 I said alright. Here is when the fun started. Nothing showed up which he said was normal for older cars. Why even hook it up then. Then they said the battery was bad so we got a new one from Autozone. Took it home dead battery next day. Took it back they said that battery was bad installed another took it home next day battery was dead. Took back in they said dome lights bad put in new ones took it home dead once again. This went on for four or five times. Each trip was overnight requiring my wife to pick me up before I said enough was enough. Took car home called Midas owner about a refund and he said the alternator was bad and wanted to charge me another two or three hundred to replace it. Unbelievable, the car is in my garage and he can tell the alternator is bad and didn't even have to look at it. He is good. The car only has 95000 miles on it. Ended up taking car to my normal real mechanic in Shakopee and in about a hour he found the door switch needed cleaning, bingo fixed for $183 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!Paid $430 to Midas for exactly nothing except guessing what was wrong. You be the judge! IF YOUR CAR BREAKS DOWN IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING PUSH IT DOWN THE STREET!!!!!!!

These guys got me in at the last minute and had my brakes changed within a couple of hours for less than the estimated cost!! And I had shopped around on estimates and they were already the lowest! Service is great in person and on the phone, very friendly staff. I should note that I had originally came here for a brake replacement a few months ago after my dealership told me I needed too. The guy at DJ Pete's looked over my brakes for me and told me they still had some life on them yet so just to hold off (I was also needing tires at that point and could only afford to do one). The following week I called to inquire if an alignment was done at the time I purchased the tires. The guy said no and referred me to their sister company Firestone. Sept 25, 2025 Alignment was performed. I upgraded to a lifetime alignments. When I made the appointment he said it would take about 2 hours. Done in 40 minutes. I was grateful and drove away. No alignment paperwork was given to be. April 2026 I brought my car into the dealership for service and was told I needed 2 new front tires. I called Tires plus to verify I purchased the tires a few months earlier with 6-8K miles since my alignment? Tires plus agreed it doesn't sound right. I brought my car in to Tires Plus and spoke to Alan. He berated me and said I needed new tires. He said he doesn't know how bad I drive and referred me to the alignment people and said it wasn't aligned right. He gave me a copy of my alignment (pre and post). I called Firestone and he told me they got new computers so all data is in a box but come in and they will look at my tires. The guy said they put the wrong tires on my car and that is the reason. He showed me the warning that you would have to bypass in order to order these tires for my car. Firestone still no paperwork on original alignment- said he has 2 more boxes to go through. I called and filed an original complaint with their company. I called again 3 days later and the complaint was closed by Alan from tires plus. He said he took care of it. I said no he didn't, I want to talk to someone about how he treated me AND about my alignment. I don't think they ever did one at Firestone. I called the complaint line again- they escalated it to the area, then division, then corporate ladder several times-not one person has called me back. I called Firestone again and they said they finally found my alignment paperwork but wouldn't send it to me. Said I needed to come in and get it. He was concerned that I would have a phone number of one of the employees who sent it to me. I asked about scanning and emailing...again-no.
