Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos is located in Kitchen United Mix, a shared space that houses 9 other takeout/delivery businesses in the middle of Pasadena. It's a nice concept as it allows you to order various types of food and pick it up all in one spot. Parking is street, however, so good luck if you're picking up during lunch hour. I ordered a wurst burrito. It's pretty hefty, stuffed with three eggs, tater tots, cheese, and caramelized onions. You can also choose from several types of sausages, including impossible alternatives for the vegans. The flour tortilla is crisped so it gives it a nice texture. I've tried a lot of breakfast burritos in and around the LA area and I'd say this probably falls into the middle of the pack. Although solid, nothing really stands out. It's just your average breakfast burrito with your standard ingredients. The caramelized onions are a bit of a twist, I suppose, along with the ability to choose different types of meats and sauces. But it's not enough to stand out from the crowd. Also, from a price point perspective, it's a bit on the steep end for what you get. Still, if you've got a big appetite and are in the area, check them out. read more

Ordered $100 worth of food, burritos, and tater tot's, and requested delivery. When I received my delivery there were none of the condiments that I had specifically requested. I'm assuming, like myself, let hip is essential with tots. In the end we didn't eat them. None of their food is cheap so you'd hope it be worth it and a good experience. So simple to just pay attention and read the instructions. I'm not returning. read more

Ordered from here when I was looking for a new breakfast burrito spot. With a name like Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos, I figured I had to try them. Prices are reasonable even through delivery apps, so I appreciate that. The portions are generous and food quality is quite nice. The menu isn't huge, but they do offer a lot of meat options, including Beyond and Impossible meat. This is a huge bonus, in my book. I ordered one of their Impossible options. The burrito was quite big, and the three eggs took up lots of space. I appreciate that they actually give more eggs (three total) than cheaper filling like potatoes. Wasn't the biggest fan of the American cheese, which had a strong greasy taste. I would ask for this to be excluded next time. Highly recommend the onion rings. They have a light crispy coating that reminds me of tempura batter. The extra 79 cents for the garlic aioli is also worth it! read more

This place sent me the wrong order. I don't even know what this burrito is? So I can't eat it.I ordered the haus burrito with a sunny side up Egg , bacon and add avocado. I cannot get a hold of them because they have no phone number listed. Waited over an hour on Postmates. Which is only offering me a six dollar refund compared to the $23 I spent for nothing. Picked up a couple of burritos. Burritos were huge. Big enough to be two meals. Beyond Breakfast Burrito was way better than expected. It actually had everything right and we both enjoyed this one quite a bit. It was my first time trying the beyond sausage and was quite impressed how good it was. Bronco Burrito is the reason they don't get more stars from me. It was good, but there were just way too much very strong flavors competing. Too much bacon. Too much cotija cheese. Too much picked jalapenos. Overall it was wayyyyy too salty. My tongue literally felt numb after eating this burrito. I'll stay away from this one in the future. read more

I ordered Delivery through post mates. I got the impossible California burrito and my husband got the wurst burrito. The cali burrito had arugula and a green creamy sauce in it, which created a fresh twist to the burrito. Had a bite of the wurst burrito and it was really yummy. It was a good sized portion. Both were very good size and tasted great. My husband finished his and was very full. I was only able to eat half. We also got an order of tater tots. read more

Just ordered a couple of burritos to help a friend after a night of fun. What better to order than Worth The Hangover burritos! This was a really good burrito, filled with all you need to sop up leftover fun - over easy eggs, tasty potatoes, sausage and cheese. It also has caramelized onions and spicy maple mayo which made it a little on the sweet side. All of this combined to make a large, tasty burrito that definitely did the job. For me personally, I like the Haus burrito a little better because it isn't as sweet. That didn't stop me from totally devouring the Worth The Hangover burrito and I would gladly do it again. read more

Ordered delivery through Uber eats so I don't have info on parking. These burritos are amazing! They're a little on the spicy side so if you have issues with that maybe ask for no spicy Mayo. Love that they have vegetarian options with impossible "meat." One of the best breakfast burritos I've had in a while. I ordered the Haus, wurst, and pastrami burritos. They were all great, you really can't go wrong with any item on the menu. The crispy tater tots are VERY crispy, to the point where there's hardly any potato inside . If you're looking for a tasty quick breakfast this is the spot. I recommend everything on the menu, but be sure to try the garlic aioli. read more

* My current FAVORITE BURRITO * My most searched words when it comes to food = Breakfast Burrito Where do I go when I want to treat myself? Bad Ass Burritos. I remember thinking that it can't be that good with that name...must be a joke... But then I tried it and was hooked. I don't like Kitchen United in general. However I have to get my Bad Ass Burrito from there. I did appreciate that the staff of Kitchen United was looking to see who walked in the door first to pick up their orders. It is an efficient process. They do get your orders correct. Tried several burritos but my go to order is the wurst burrito. I just love the overeasy egg with the sausage, crispy tater tots, cheese, caramelized onions. Burrito composition is on point. Deliciously full of flavor. If I could get more of that spicy mayo, I use it in my breakfast meals to reminisce about my burrito. This time I did measure it. It was 7.5 inch x 3.5 in x 1.5 in. It's a burrito meant to be eaten by two people. If I'm by myself, I eat half in a sitting. Ask me what I want to have for a meal, I'd be quite happy with a wurst burrito any day!!! read more

Bad ass burritos succeeded in taking breakfast burritos a step up. Got the bronco the first time and most recently tried the chaachi. - the menu finally adds fresh ideas to the breakfast burrito world. The proteins and fillings are unique. I loved the bronco because the bacon, jalepeno and cotija cheese played well together. The chaachi's sausage + pastrami filling made each bite meaty; so satisfying for my inner carnivore -Tater tots inside the burritos add crunchy texture. Really recommend you order takeout, so you can keep the tots as crispy as possible. Time is precious! - Hot sauces are awesome. Really like having spicy mayo as an option, for another layer if richness We've ordered takeout here twice now and definitely will be back. read more

Huge burritos that are practically build your own. Nice and juicy which is how I prefer a burrito, not dry and boring. They are pretty rich so make sure you're ok with that. If you wanted. Boring burrito with just eggs and bacon, this ain't it. Once in a while the delivery takes too long (not their fault) but what is their fault is the tater tots box not being closed when out in the bag or the sauces you add on or pay for are missing. There are two similar sauces that the cook sometimes mixes up and gives me two kf the same when I request one of each. All in all recommend. read more

After being presented with this place as an option for food today, I ordered the Wurst Burrito. As someone who had gastric bypass and a tiny tummy... this is easily 5 - 7 'meals'. Heh I love that it has 3 eggs, my voice was sunny side up, and a good portion of sausage; instead of being completely filled with the taste toys as a filter. It is filled with flavor layers! However, if you are similar to me (having Fibromyalgia) and being hypersensitive, PAY ATTENTION TO THE INGREDIENTS!! I saw that they included sides of the spicy mayo and hot sauce (packets of tapatio). What I missed is that they also include the spicy mayo inside the burrito. As a result, I had to add a lot of sour cream to be able to enjoy my burrito; my fault, not theirs! Can't wait for the next time we order from here and, hoping I remember to ask for no condiments inside. Hehe But, if you like the heat, GO FOR IT!! I used to love it and am sad that my tongue has become so sensitive, even table salt can cause it to burn. read more

I was in the area and the name alone reeled me in. I'm a huge fan of breakfast burritos and I had never seen a place dedicated solely to breakfast burritos. I decided to get the wurst burrito. It has cheese, caramelized onions (my fave), eggs, and the sausage of your choosing. I chose Polish kielbasa. Absolute perfection. The caramelized onions brought a sweetness to it. The sausage saltiness balanced it all out. Also, it was huge, like twice the size of my hand. I easily could have only eaten this whole thing for the day and been fine. My boyfriend got the Mongo's tacos which had green Chile sauce and chorizo on them, PACKED with flavor. I wish we had one of these locations where I live. read more

EXTREMELY slow service! Ordered from them twice once for a pick up order and once through Postmates and BOTH times they were behind on orders. I waited OVER an hour for 2 breakfast burritos to go. Pick up times are NEVER accurate and the extreme slow service is not worth the burritos at all. Burritos were just okay for the horribly slow service that they provided. read more

All in all I had a good experience from here. I was looking for a quick breakfast place to pick up some food before work and I think I just found a new regular place for breakfast burritos. I would recommend for sure Service was fast, placed an order online and it was ready early. Just be aware it's a group kitchenImpossible Cali Burrito under Mix Kitchen United. I hate to leave such a good review cause this place is going to blow up. Then I will have to wait for my burritos on my Sunday mornings! I found this place looking for good spots to eat in Pasadena. Yes it was a Sunday morning and I drove to place that had good pic's on there yelp page. When I got there at 7am I wanted to get take out and they said I had to wait 1hr and their was a line of people. I did some more searching and found "BABB" never been so happier I am a fan for life. For the second time they have given me the completely wrong burrito. It's like it doesn't matter what you order but they will decide to give you a bronco burrito even if your receipt clearly says borracho. Always check your burrito before leaving since they're incapable of giving you the right order. read more

Pretty good breakfast burritos! They're packed with ingredients and really filling. A little on the pricier side but I would say it's worth it. We ordered two burritos one with no cheese and it came WITH cheese. Seriously how hard is it to follow instructions?! It's not a freestanding restaurant so you can't call, You can't give them the chance to make it up, they just give a refund, but after waiting 40 min for delivery, you're still hungry. When you come for the first time, it's a little hard to find as the sign isn't easy to see from the street and we drove by twice before spotting it. Well, thank goodness we did because this was the best sandwich I've had in a loooooong time! After a difficult time making a single selection, i almost got a hotdog instead, I chose the Hey Joe. The second I laid eyes on my basket, I knew I's made the right choice and I also knew I was in trouble. There were instantly serious doubts about being able to finish this behemoth. This offering had roast beef, pastrami, and a hot link all surrounded by fresh veggies and sauce. there was even a small side of Perry's secret recipe sauce that has a slight kick without hijacking the show. Be ready to eat, once you pick it up. It's hard to put down. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Perry's Joint today. I had to dissect the last 1/4 of my sandwich because I wasn't going to be able to polish it off in full form. The pastrami was some of the best I've had anywhere, the quality of the hot link was outstanding, and the roast beef was tender and flavorful. Any of these alone would make an outstanding sandwich on its own, but combined they're impossible to beat. Perry, you deserve a medal for coming up with this! I can't wait to come back and try something else. Maybe one of the dogs too! When I was done eating I went to express my gratitude for the food and service and was greeted by Perry himself. He and his staff and I talked for several minutes and we got a little back story and found he's been there since 2004. You don't stay in the culinary business for 20+ years unless your food and service are great. The interior is simple but warm, clean, and well taken care of. There are a few tables inside and I think I saw some outside as well. I'm guessing there's a busy to-go time at the lunch rush. What Perry's Joint does: they feed you PLENTY of great food. They use only the best ingredients and you can taste it, they smile and treat you extremely well. What Perry's Joint doesn't do: They don't skimp on portions, if you leave hungry, it's because you stopped eating, not because they didn't give you enough food. They don't rip you off, for the size of my sandwich and the obvious quality and love that went into it, it was an extremely fair price! If you're in the neighborhood and they're open, you'd be doing yourself an injustice by not checking out Perry's Joint. I know I'll be back and my local friend will be putting this in the rotation.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., I personally saw an employee come out of the bathroom wearing gloves and carrying two bags of trash, which appeared to be from the bathroom. Without changing his gloves, he then picked up two of the towels used to wipe down the tables and proceeded to wipe down almost all of the dining tables. He also wiped down the counter area where customers pick up their food. The employee was wearing a hat and black glasses. I was sitting there watching this happen, and I honestly could not believe what I was seeing. Handling bathroom trash and then immediately cleaning dining tables and a food pickup area with the same gloves is an extremely serious sanitation concern. I am writing this review because management needs to be aware of what happened and address it immediately. Proper glove changing and sanitation procedures are essential in any restaurant, especially when employees are moving between bathroom cleaning and areas where customers eat and pick up their food. After witnessing this, my family and I will not be returning. Someone in management needs to take this seriously and make sure employees are properly trained on sanitation and food safety procedures.
