Love!! I've stopped by here twice with my wife now and we love it. There's so many gems in the collective. You can find everything from handmade soaps, shampoos, conditioners to a barber shop and hair salon. I also tried a latte at the coffee shop set up right at the front. It was great and the service was good! The staff was friendly and patient with me as I took forever to decide on what to order. Will definitely be back with friends and family!

So it sounds like the ABQ Collective is under new ownership or about to change ownership I wasn't sure. They have a number of new vendors in there, including a soap vendor that had a ton of different soaps. It also sounds like they are about to get new food options, but when I went in the last time, all I got was a tea. It was a good refresher while I looked around. This is always a great spot to do some gift shopping, looking forward to see what changes will be made.

The drinks are delicious and the environment is lovely. Lots of cute stuff and souvenirs for people who are visiting. Great place to study.

It's a cute little place. I usually drive by this place on my way to work and stopped by for the first time earlier this year. They have paints, hair cuts, wine jelly, jewelry, and clothing. I stopped by another time for the Wow Wow Lemonade pop up and it was the perfect space to hold it. ABQ Coffee is also a great addition- I've gotten their granola yogurt cups once (sweet, just the right size, and I can't believe how well the granola holds together) and their pumpkin cream cheese muffin another time (it was almost too pretty to eat!). The owner even messaged me once to let me know they had pumpkin muffins in stock, just because she knows how much I love pumpkin. 2021 #13

I've only been inside briefly but I've been to the Plant Powered Pop Up Market they host outside for 2 years in a row now. The outdoor space is great for markets. It's a bit of a tight space but still big enough to fit vendors, food trucks, and seating areas. They also have a stage for live music, a cute swing set and string lights around the outdoor area. It's a nice set up that's perfect for summer hang outs. I'm not sure if they hold other pop up market events here or how long they've been hosting the Plant Powered Pop Up, but I hope they host again next year!

Another creative and eclectic rendezvous space has arrived in the Duke City, and I'm lovin' every inch of it. Coffee shop, hairstylists and barbershops, a gazillion antique nooks and crannies, jewlery, clothing, record store, various local retail coves with one of a kind merch to keep you oogling and the best wine jelly everrrrrr. What a great place to shop for unique gifts, or even to bring the laptop, have a cuppa joe and crank out some work. This is the kind of place that makes Albuquerque shine, a place where community gets together *lots of pop up events and local gatherings* and a place you'll want to bring your out of town guests that like to shop and meander.

I found some really cool albums at Back Ally Records. It's always fun finding rare albums. Then I had a delicious coffee, Lavender and hot honey latte!! Yum.

Usually, I like my hair right away in the salon after items done but the I don't like it at home until two weeks have passed, but that was not the case with when Natashia did my hair. Not only did i immediately like it after she was done while I was still in the salon, but I still liked it after I washed it and played with it myself a couple days later. It didn't take couple of weeks to fall back in love with it. I immediately loved it! I also really like Natashia. I felt like she really listened to me and answered all my questions. She also explained her technique to me as she was doing it and how it would affect the end result. I loved that she gave me that level of understanding. She also explained blew dry my hair beautifully. I recently had a baby and couldn't go in for my full service because of my breastfeeding schedule, and she explained how we could modify my service for a shorter session that would get me to the next time we meet for a longer session. I can't tell you how much i appreciated that level of understanding and flexibility. I would definitely recommend Natashia to others, especially if they're looking for blonding services. The space itself was very clean and had a boho southwest vibe too. It's dry cute and Natashia told me that the owner made the drift wood light fixture over the hair-washing sinks herself! How cool is that! I also like that this salon has a transparent payment structure and you can choose a stylist that aligns with your budget. I also like that this information is readily available on their website and that it also tells you what specialty each stylist has. That information was very helpful.

I made an appointment…read morewith Ariel at Moxi for a consultation since what I was looking for was pretty complex and I was a new client. They were able to get me in right away. Ariel was sweet and welcoming and put me at ease. As we talked she listened closely. She took some time looking at my hair and asked a few clarifying questions and then got to work. She brought me color samples to look at and talked to me about toning the blonde and if I wanted cooler or warmer color. Once she was satisfied with the understanding of what I wanted she went to get Shannon, the owner. They discussed the application, technique, product, time, etc. They quoted me an estimate that was complete and frugal and we made an appointment for the actual application. I went in on the 19th for my appointment with great excitement. After having my temperature taken and washing my hands we got down to business. Ariel clarified a couple of things then went to mix the first round of color. What I want is hard to explain, difficult to maintain, and certainly not easy to do well. Ariel made it seem like a cakewalk. The red on top and blonde balayage is not an easy application and she had to clean up a little from the previous time it was done. She hit it out if the park. With help from Shannon to speed the application process along, she gave me exactly what I was looking for. The colors and tones are spot on and the look is exactly what I was going for. Also, because of the products they use my hair is still soft and healthy and smells amazing! I would highly recommend Moxi and Ariel to anyone in need of a great style!

Their cancellation policy makes sense until you see how unflexible they are in extenuating circumstances. I've never had a business be so punitive charging 100% for a canceled service. I tried to reason with them regarding the nature of the booking and need to cancel or reschedule. My daughter has been late 10 minutes for a previous appointment, called ahead about it. Apparently this was all they could forgive and counted it as a cancellation. Another appointment my daughter was rescheduled by the salon last minute due to salon's need to reschedule and my daughter was was understanding. Now we have been charged a cancellation fee for something I tried to reasonably work out with them. Cancellation fee for a first time customer- my second daughter is 100% cost of service. They could not value our business enough to come to an amicable resolution. I will not go back. Which is too bad because we had liked the cuts enough to begin to schedule my other daughters. Typically I leave only positive reviews for businesses or no reviews at all.
