A great late night bar that makes you feel at home. The bar staff takes good care of you, and they have surprisingly good bread bowls.

The dj Friday and Saturday night kills it. I look forward to the friendly staff and the fun crowd. I am glad I found this place.

Always toooo cold during the day. Excellent service during days but customer comfort is not a priority.

Our seating was in the bar downstairs which was very busy and noisy which was ok for 2 of us unfortunately 2 of our party were deaf and that was an issue for visiting. Our dinners: clam linguine, small clams in butter wine sauce was good, lots of broth and noodles could have had more clams. Dinner salads were great, big, crisp and fresh. Hubby had the meatballs with whipped potatoes, not a big meal but very tasty. I often buy ribeye steaks at the Cartwright's market and they are wonderful. Cartwright's owns Taprock restaurant so I figured that's the steak they'd serve but no it was thin and tough like a top round steak, it was cooked med rare that I ordered. It wasn't cheap, won't order again. Margaritas were very good. Service was excellent and there was lots of hired help in all areas. Our waitress was attentive, personable and we enjoyed her service.

The caprese salad was excellent with fresh flavorful burrata, cherry tomatoes lightly dressed in oil and garlic, balanced balsamic, arugula, microgreens, and edible flowers -- thoughtful and elevated. The bacon-wrapped filet special was one of the most tender steaks I've had in a long time, and we were told it came from a local butcher. The mahi mahi tacos were juicy and well-cooked, though warm or toasted tortillas would make them even better. It would be great to see more detail on the menu about local sourcing. As a visitor, that makes the experience feel even more special. Looking forward to stopping in again someday!

He has had a few of these and this one was "pretty good". This is a rave review for my hubby as he is a chef! Great beer selection, super friendly staff and the ambiance is both glorious and chill. Give it a try!! Watch out for the correct address however. One of our group had a hard time finding the right one.

We ordered a round of drinks and the place was so hot that we decided not to eat and closed our tab of $23 with an additional 5% "service fee". We paid cash so this is NOT a credit card fee. Sorry guys- you lost me as a customer. I hate being "nickled and dimed". Just add 5 cents to everything on the menu and call it a day! Dont be sneaky and charge a ridiculous random fee just because you think you can. No thanks! Other issue is the bar stools are bolted down... why?! Short people sit too far away from the bar now and its very uncomfortable. Menu looked the same so food is normally good from past visits in old place. Bar drinks were good, just too hot in there to enjoy. It's too bad about the 5% fee because I really wanted to make this a new favorite place. Deal breaker.

Needless to say, our meal was so delicious and filling - easily the best seafood we've eaten in the area, and some of the best food we've eaten in Southern Oregon. The clam chowder, steamer clams, crab and artichoke alfredo, and seafood mama (crab, shrimp, scallops, parmesan cream sauce over fettuccine) were incredible. The wait staff was friendly and helped us out with our menu selections. It turns out that you can get both the fresh baked sourdough and ale bread with your meal, and each compliment the food wonderfully. The restaurant itself had a wonderful, lively pub feel to it. As aforementioned, we loved The Laughing Clam and will return at our first opportunity.

Wait for drink wasn't bad for as busy as they were. Ordering food and receiving food took a bit. Again very busy. The chowder was very tasty. Could have been a little warmer. The stuffed mushrooms were not what I thought. I didn't realize they were breaded heavily and deep fried. Then they pile a little bit of seafood then Swiss cheese. The grease from them frying then they sat in the grease made everything mushy. Barely any seafood and they were not fresh it was frozen bagged mushrooms. The clam strips were also frozen bagged. Not fresh. Hardly any taste. The ladies that served us were super friendly and nice. And my cocktail was a nice proper cocktail. I didn't realize really like the service and the ambiance. Very friendly spot even from locals.
