If you have to stop by a taco truck, this should be on your list. We went to the food truck rodeo yesterday and I have to say I was impressed with this truck. we decided to be adventurous and eat the fish tacos. The fish was cooked perfectly and the flavors were quite delicious. The fried plantains were to die for, and they got even better with the salsa that was provided. The staff is nice. We will most definitely be eating here at this truck again. I promise you.

Shrimp Tacos & Moo Moo Nachos

Great surprise that your truck was in town! We had the Shrimp Taco plate, Moo Moo Nachos and ChipsnCheese. Very quick considering everyone waiting on their own orders. Food was awesome, hot, just the right amount of spice! Can't wait to eat at your location again. I want Churros next time. Thnks

I got the "Double Dippin" and it was DELICIOUS! Prices are good and the people are friendly. I will definitely be looking forward to trying other items on their menu soon!

I had Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos and a buttery, crispy super cheesy quesadilla for the little one. Delicious!!

Had the mahi-mahi tacos and the Ahi tacos. They were good but small. Definitely not worth the price. But they were very tasty.

When you arrive, there is plenty of parking around the building, and entrances in the front and on the right side. Once inside, you'll walk up to counter and place your order. Your then given a order number and it's open seating. Your number will be called out in Spanish when your food is ready and you'll pick it up at the counter. I ordered an al pastor taco which unfortunately was not good. It came out extremely cold and needed a lot of salsa for it to have any flavor. I also ordered a steak burrito which was much better and was served with melted cheese on the top. There were fatty pieces throughout the burrito but this was far better than the taco. Lastly, I ordered a horchata but it tasted like grainy and wasn't great. If I'm in the area again I may give this a try but I'd definitely stick with a burrito so your food is hot.

The Jeffrey is something I longed to try. A spring roll filled carna asada, chorizo and al pastor meat mixture full of Mexican flavors and a hint of Chihuahua cheese make this Mex-Asian fusion a filling, tasty treat that has a Serrano Verde salsa on the side if you want more heat. Refried black beans were so creamy smooth I couldn't get enough of these beans I added it to my taco and dipped my spring roll in this yummy mixture. The chicken tinga taco had so much protein I took out half of portion for later. You can see fresh onions and cilantro garnish the top of braised chicken that is tender, juicy all tucked inside 2 corn tortillas. I grabbed a lime from fridge to add fresh dash of lime juice to this tasty taco. Man this is great way to start my day as if it were Feliz Navidad!

I downloaded the app and received a free chips and guacamole. We also ordered a side of queso, the Bamba Taco which was steak and chorizo, Alpaca chicken taco, Catfish taco and the brisket taco. Everything was excellent, the flavors worked so well together, you didn't even need to add salsa or hot sauce. There is also a salsa bar and everything I tried was delicious. All of the employees seemed friendly and genuinely happy with their jobs. We will definitely return for a date night.

The salad included chicken, cucumber, pickled red onion, corn, crispy tortillas & oregano dressing. The salad was fresh and crisp. I really enjoyed this. I'd get double meat going forward. I also order myself carnitas (delicious) and one chicken quesadilla for my Mom. My mom is such a picky eater but she really enjoyed the quesadilla and was talking about how meaty it was for days. I'm happy with my purchase and I look forward to returning. I do recommend dining at Little Rey if you're in the area.

"They have all the smoke"…read more My first time in the Ironworks area, and me like! Free parking and crossing guards directing traffic - wonderful! Ironworks is a mixed use environment with vendors hawking wears under canopies, alongside brick and mortar stores, shops, and restaurants. Little Rey's (IMO) is Alpaca Restaurant meets Mexican in the best way possible. The line for the food was a solid 30-45 minute wait. So don't be like me, have a seat, pull out your phone, use the code on the table, view menu, and order and pay. However, they have employees who greet customers and begin your drink menu while you wait in line. We ordered the half chicken, Gringa tacos, guacamole, and queso. Little Rey has a pretty extensive salsa bar, with approximately 7-8 varieties. The salsa bar spans the gambit from mild, mid-hot, smoky, and creamy options. The star of the show is the smoked chicken! So good with the corn tortilla, green salsa, grilled onions and grilled jalapeño! Moving forward I'll add an order of the chicken taco to get the perfect bit without the mess! The Gringa/Picadillo taco was good. And while I am a Gringa, and I love a Taco Bell sour cream situation, that almost mayonnaise flavor didn't sit well with my soul. However, the meat itself was super flavorful. I'd ditch the flour tortilla for corn , and opt for another salsa, add pico, and I think we are there. We weren't a fan of the rice, if I'm being honest - but will try again. While I didn't try any alcoholic beverages on this round, I'm stoked to try on my next visit. Plenty of seating, but can get awkward if there are long lines. The party is outside, so that maybe your best bet. Looking forward to grabbing a group of friends for round dos! Northern Mexican: 4.4444
