I'm always on the look out for amazing food that isn't from a big chain. I definitely found that at That One Spot Burger! Once I located this hidden gem tucked on the corner of a shopping strip, I went in with high hopes. The menu was definitely ambitious but nothing so far over the top that I wouldn't try it. The young man at the counter who greeted me was very happy to give recommendations and was definitely proud to work there. I decided on the Turkey Burglar minus the onions, an order of fresh cut fries and a bottle of water. While I waited, he and I chatted for a bit and it was easy to see he had a real interest in, if not cooking, good food experiences. I was actually kinda bummed when my order was finished because of the great conversation. I hopped in the car and the first thing I tried were the fries. I LOVE French fries. These were fresh cut, fluffy in the middle, fries! Not that dense potato texture you get when they're not properly double cooked. This was definitely a sign of good things to come. The turkey burger was juicy, well seasoned, and the combination of lettuce, Brie, bacon, Granny Smith apple slices and raspberry mayo was everything I needed in that moment. I didn't waste a bite. I look forward to my next visit when I'm up in the area, and I'm definitely bringing my friends and family. read more

Came here with my Mom and my sister's family a while back, after a nearby gymnastics competition, and we were all jonesing for a burger. No one else there, but the owner / chef was eager to serve us and helped everyone choose the burger that best suited their tastes. I ordered the gouda bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. Everything is fresh made, so there was a bit of wait as he prepared meals for all six of us, but it was worth it! My burger came piled high with a freshly grilled beef patty topped with two slices of bacon, caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, a couple of onion rings, horseradish sauce and melted gouda cheese on a brioche bun. I'm not always a fan of brioche buns for a burger as they tend to fall apart, but his held up well to all the overflowing toppings. The onion rings were super-crispy and I also got to try their fries which were a tad undercooked, but tasty overall. Make sure to ask for the "That One" sauce for dipping your sides in...kinda like the bloomin' onion sauce you'd get at Outback. Delish! 2025 update: Been coming here periodically and the business has gone through a couple of closures and reopenings for reasons I'm not sure. But everytime we go, I'm always impressed by the tasty burgers they have. It has that great flame broiled taste and nicely seasoned. I love that they still have the Mac and cheese and my kiddos love it. Service is always friendly. The fries are also amazing! One small critique is the buns... although toasted in the middle, the exterior is cold cold. Not sure how that happens but caught me off guard when the burger is piping hot. Honestly, for a little hole in the wall this place was fantastic. Upon arriving the staff wasn't to friendly (except the cook who greeted us when we walked in) but the food made up for it. The burgers are thick and juicy, the fries are crispy and salty, and the onion rings had the right amount of breading to onion ratio. We needed a quick dinner spot before a concert at Mosaic Church in Winter Garden and this place was perfect! I tried the special burger, Smoked Gouda Bacon, and shared large fries with my friend. The interior is clean and efficient. Once we ordered our burgers were quickly made to order. That One Spot is THE spot for me when I have a burger craving in the future. We decided to stop in and check this place out after hearing good recommendations from friends and seeing the reviews on Yelp. It's a small space where you walk in, view the menu, and place your order at the counter. After that, you can take your table number and wait for your food to arrive. After a short wait, we received our orders. I chose to get a build your own burger with a 1/3 pound beef patty on a brioche bun with cheese, a fried egg, and pesto mayo and macaroni and cheese. The burger came out cooked to my liking and it tasted really good. It also wasn't as heavy and greasy as some burgers can be. I was able to finish it and not feel yucky afterwards! It was definitely in my top favorites of burgers I've had. The macaroni and cheese was good and I definitely took more than a couple of my boyfriend's fries because they were super crisp and yummy. It had great flavor, the texture of the patty is on the softer side. Not a lot of avocado on mine but plenty of sprouts, mixed greens, peppers and cheese. I've been looking at That One Spot on yelp for a while, and I noticed their overall rate went up from 3.5 to 4 so the hubby and I came in randomly to check it out. When we came in, there was nobody there. It was around 4:30 when places are normally slow. You order at a small counter and take a seat with a number and wait on your food. I built my own burger and got the side of mac n cheese, and Alex got the BBQ burger minus the pickles with some fries. We came during happy hour where you get a burger and they give you a free drink so we both got free drinks without even mentioning the promo. Cool! We got our drinks and waited maybe 10-12 minutes for our food. It didn't feel like too long of a wait, especially for two well done patties (yeah, yeah. sue me). The BBQ burger was pretty big with three large onion rings in the middle. Both burgers were generous in sauce and the topping portion was appropriate. My burger seemed to not fit the bun too well, as my bun was a lot bigger than my patty and I had a lot of bread left over. Besides that, the burgers were both pretty good! The beef had a good flavor and definitely were not bland. BBQ sauce was tangy. Fries seemed to be cut in store and were very crispy and didn't need any more salt or anything. Awesome! The mac and cheese seasoning is amazing and they have corn in it and I LOVE that! Overall, a pretty good experience. Found this spot here on Yelp and went for it on a whim. So good! I asked for a recommendation and was told the Crunch burger is good-it is!! The fluffy brioche and fresh toppings, along with the bleu cheese crumble were a hit! The sweet potato fries are so so good! Nice and crispy but tender on the inside. I'm a dipper-so I got the raspberry sauce to dip my sweet potato fries in...you should too! The reason for the 4 stars is that they didn't ask me a cook temp and assumed I wanted well done (I like my burgers medium) and personally, I think the beef could use a LITTLE more seasoning. read more
