    Fried okra
    Anthony H.

Just had dinner picked up from Beth's Burger Bar tonight. My wife and I ordered 2 burgers, a side of fries and a side of fried okra. My burger was really good for the most part, just a little but of skin was left on the onion but no big deal. Unfortunately my wife's burger was sloppily put together and falling apart. She had the fried okra, and only half of the container was filled up. This was a big let down since we paid extra for the fried okra side. We've eaten here a few times dining in, and we can definitely tell the portion sizes are what you pay for while dining in vs take out. I guess we'll know for next time.

First visit here and to a Beth's Burger Bar. Enjoyed the food and the friendly atmosphere. We stepped up to the order table, perused and order. Very easy to do - but wow - it's a big selection because it's not just burgers! I got a black and Bleu burger with frickles and my husband did a custom burger with jalapeño, cheese and bacon (no bun). Food came out as ordered and it didn't take long at all. Delicious! Love the customizable options. We have friends who want to try this place so we told them they need to go and try it. We will be back!

Found this little burger joint recently as the previous establishment closed. Came promptly at 12 we found this place half full and when we left a line close to the door. You order at the counter, take a number and sit. Burgers came out warm in about 7 mins. My pet peeve for a burger is a warm burger on a cold bun which Beth's lost a point for not having a freshly toasted bun. Parmesan Fries were awesome! Meat in burgers is quality and not greasy. Fried pickles are sliced medium, thick batter and not over fried. Didn't care for batter. Odds and ends: dining area is a bit awkwardly laid out as I kept bumping chair back walking thru. $1 for a side sauce which was filled half way!? (Point lost). Women's restroom was closed forcing everyone to wait for a single person men's restroom. PBR beers is $2 all the time. Being a local spot is worth a try.

This was my first time here. I ordered the black n blue burger because its one of my favorite burger styles. I love that they serve what I consider "smash burgers." My burger seemed very lean but still had good flavor. I love blue cheese and mushrooms....I would have liked to have a bit more of each on mine but the burger was great. I will definitely be back. I love the back story and also prefer to support local business so Beth's is a place now on my list!

When you walk in there are no signs to tell you where to order or wait. But the host spoke up as she was cleaning tables to say she'll be with us. You have to order your meal before you choose to find a seat anywhere. The food came out fast enough. I got the double meat breakfast burger with fries. The burger was seasoned all the way through. The fries was really good and crispy. The interior was conducive to a burger bar/joint as far as decorations. It was overall an ok experience.

The Good: excellent ambiance, old school bar and nice decoration throughout the establishment. Service was very very good. The Bad: i ordered a burger / salad, my wife the same. The burger meat was dry and a little chewy. I could not detect a burger taste, which leads me to believe believe it might have fillers in it. My wife even said she could taste the plastic that lettuce was stored in. when you order a burger over a salad, the flavor of the burger really should come through because there's no bun to hide it. These burgers were meh. The ugly: we ordered the tots. I ordered mine with chili and cheese and she had plain tots. They were very greasy and fell apart very easily. They should be very crispy just like the school cafeteria. We will enjoy it back in the day. The oil is not hot. They are not leaving them long enough. In summary, I would not be compelled to return. Perhaps of a bunch of people were meeting up there nice drink or something perhaps. But on a burger would not be something I would do again.

Foodies, have you been to @bethsburgerbar yet? On our mommy daughter date the staff was very kind, the customized burger was scrumptious and they nailed it with the fried okra! Bonus points for the 80s rock music & I salute a boss chick doing her thing and welcome to Winter Garden! We'll be back!

This was our first time to eat at this location. Customers order at the host desk and receive a numbered stanchion to place on their table and cups for self-service drinks. Wine, beer, and canned cocktails are available. Food is delivered to customer tables using the numbered stanchions. There are tables inside and outside. There are multiple video screens to mostly to sporting events. There is a small bar. They offer a few draft beer selections. The outside area had multiple tables with umbrellas. We had a jalapeño crunch with tots and a burger with "all the way" toppings. They were very good. Staff was pleasant and asked more than once if everything was to our liking. I will be back.

Turkey burger without cheese, and with everything else and sweet potato fries

We love that there is a new eatery in Winter Garden and so close to our home! We arrived around 4:30pm on a Saturday and were able to get our order placed fairly quickly and there were plenty of open tables. But shortly there after we did notice where there was a constant flow of people coming into the restaurant. We love seeing that, as it gives us hope that this location will stick around for a while. When you go in, you basically build your own burger. You choose your base or protein (they have several options to choose from from regular beef patties to turkey as well as beyond burgers, and they have a chicken sandwich) and then you choose your accompaniment, such as cheese and different things that you can put on top of it such as lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, mushrooms, etc. You also pick your side and they have a variety of offerings everything from regular fries and garlic fries to sweet potato fries, as well as tater tots and other options, including chips and jerky. Once you've gotten your order, they'll give you a number and you can have a seat at the table, when your order is ready, they will bring your order to you. We chose to sit outside as it was nice out. all the tables outside have umbrellas over them so even if it is a little sunny you have shade. There is ample parking around as it's located in the shopping plaza where Publix is, but I could definitely see where on a busy day. Parking could potentially get tight. My husband opted for the double cheeseburger with bacon and I got a turkey burger without cheese. The turkey burger was tasty and I enjoyed the overall flavor with the onions, pickles, lettuce, mustard, mayo, and ketchup on it. I also opted for the sweet potato fries. Great flavor I wish they would have been cooked just a hair longer to get it a little bit more crisp on the outside. my husband's burger was good although neither of the burgers had a lot of seasoning to them. If we were going to offer any critique, it would be to add some additional seasoning to the actual burger patties as we didn't even taste salt and pepper on them. French fries are what my husband chose for a side and they were good. Again, could've been held in the fryer just a hair longer. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and look forward to going back in the future.

Nice atmosphere, very tasty burgers, and great sides. With four other locations they're that good. I highly recommend Beth's Burger Bar

The burgers were great, I couldn't get a picture of my boyfriend's fast enough before he dug in. The staff was fast, friendly, and helpful during our first visit. Overall I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. It was clean and bright with a diner aesthetic. Definitely will be back to try some of their other specialty burgers.

We had a very good diner meal here. we had the Swiss mushroom burger with frickles , a breakfast burger, and as a lark we had the peanut butter burger with Cheetos all were very good but surprisingly the peanut butter with Cheetos was the winner as far as the maximum amount of flavor per bite. We also tried the onion rings, fried cheese curds and tater tots all were again, very good but the curds were the favorite. Service was quick and the overall theme of adult diner fits in very well with with the menu.

This review was saved for my second visit. The first visit went great, as they had all hands on deck after the grand opening. Today's visit started with a pet peeve, 10 minutes to get a drink while sat at the bar counter. The restaurant was dead empty at 5pm on a Sunday. The crew behind the bar seemed much more concerned with to go orders, and not the lone patron at their establishment. I love my fair share of beer, so good service would have equated to a larger tip for the staff. I guess things like that don't matter to them. Pet peeve #2: Don't advertise ingredients in a plural form unless your cooks intend to make them as described. If you say onion rings, I'm expecting 2-3. Not the sad little one I had to stare at before trying. Fries, were ok. Cheese sauce tasted like I bought it from Dollar General, for out of town family I don't care for. The burger was beyond underwhelming. I tasted a very mild bbq sauce, and nothing else beyond that. The price was Extremely fair. $20 for a burger, fries, and a couple IPAs is a great deal in our economy. Unfortunately, I am unable to find a reason to return in the future.! One girl can beat five guys, but definitely not today.

Once I located this hidden gem tucked on the corner of a shopping strip, I went in with high hopes. The menu was definitely ambitious but nothing so far over the top that I wouldn't try it. The young man at the counter who greeted me was very happy to give recommendations and was definitely proud to work there. I decided on the Turkey Burglar minus the onions, an order of fresh cut fries and a bottle of water. While I waited, he and I chatted for a bit and it was easy to see he had a real interest in, if not cooking, good food experiences. I was actually kinda bummed when my order was finished because of the great conversation. I hopped in the car and the first thing I tried were the fries. I LOVE French fries. These were fresh cut, fluffy in the middle, fries! Not that dense potato texture you get when they're not properly double cooked. This was definitely a sign of good things to come. The turkey burger was juicy, well seasoned, and the combination of lettuce, Brie, bacon, Granny Smith apple slices and raspberry mayo was everything I needed in that moment. I didn't waste a bite. I look forward to my next visit when I'm up in the area, and I'm definitely bringing my friends and family.

My burger came piled high with a freshly grilled beef patty topped with two slices of bacon, caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, a couple of onion rings, horseradish sauce and melted gouda cheese on a brioche bun. I'm not always a fan of brioche buns for a burger as they tend to fall apart, but his held up well to all the overflowing toppings. The onion rings were super-crispy and I also got to try their fries which were a tad undercooked, but tasty overall. Make sure to ask for the "That One" sauce for dipping your sides in...kinda like the bloomin' onion sauce you'd get at Outback. Delish! We had a solid meal here, would definitely return if in the area again.

They have a great covered outdoor seating area and their inside, while small, is cozy and homey with pictures of dogs all over the walls. I ordered the sweet potato tacos, and they were so flavorful and filling. It's a BBQ restaurant but there are definitely lots of good vegetarian options. Great local spot that I'll definitely come back to.

The Vibe: We came on a Saturday and the parking lot was packed, which we took as a great sign--and it was. You walk through a fun outdoor patio before heading inside to order, and the space is incredibly unique--colorful, eclectic, slightly hipster, with dog photos and quirky decor everywhere. The line to order was pretty long, but we noticed a few open seats at the bar. We asked the bartender if we could order there, and she said yes--pro move. Skip the line, grab a bar seat. Drinks: We tried the house lager, which was solid and refreshing. What We Ordered: * Homemade Queso + Flavor Bomb 3 * "Famous" Pulled Pork Sandwich * "What the Fig?" Sandwich Standout Bite: The queso with Flavor Bomb 3 was incredible. Sweet, savory, and completely addictive. The pineapple in the flavor bomb added the perfect touch of sweetness and made the dish really stand out. Sandwiches: Both sandwiches were excellent. The pork was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. The classic pulled pork was great, but if you like bold flavors, the "What the Fig?" is the way to go--the fig jam added the perfect sweet-savory balance. Flavor-packed and messy in the best way. Sides: Sandwiches come with your choice of Miss Vickie's chips, house-made slaw, or both for $1 extra. The house-made slaw was a standout for me--fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Overall: Great food, fun atmosphere, and a unique experience from start to finish. We're already planning our next visit--and next time we're bringing our pup since they're dog-friendly and fully embrace it. Pro tip: Head straight to the bar if there's a long line--and don't skip the queso with a flavor bomb.

The second time at the Colonial drive store the gal taking our order was very rude. When I went up to the counter she stood there, no eye contact or smile and I asked her if I could order and she did not respond. She looked up at me with her head tilted. I asked again and asked if she was okay and she said she was tired. So I made my order and said a smile might help you feel better. Other than that a great place, food and service.

It's like a well cooked smash burger with 2 thin patties. I imagine only one patty wouldn't be enough. I'm not a krinkle fry fan because I find them starchy. The line to wait for your food was new, don't mind that, if you have to wait, it's a good system. The special sauce is don't care for. It was like a cheap tzatziki sauce which...to me doesn't go with any of the food there, so that was odd. Sadly for me, it wasn't my favorite and it wasn't some life changing burger or anything and I still don't know why it's called a butter burger. Maybe they cook it in butter instead of oil? No clue. For me, it was your standard fast food taste. I bet the custard is delicious! Looked like a lot of options!

Before I even got my food, I had a great interaction with Mercedes at the counter. She was genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and didn't rush the moment, which set a really positive tone right away. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it, and when it came out, it was clear they don't cut corners here. The sandwich was fully loaded from one end to the other, with finely chopped steak that was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top, so every bite had that same balanced flavor. Even with all the toppings, nothing felt overwhelming, and the bread held everything together without falling apart. It also came with fries, which were hot and crispy, and I paired everything with a peach Crush. That combination worked really well, especially with how rich the cheesesteak was. Between the quality of the food and the customer service, this is an easy recommendation. If you are craving a cheesesteak and want something that actually feels worth it, this spot is a solid choice. The ambience was just simple. It gave a mom and pop shop vibe, I love it.

This is the real deal: thin-sliced ribeye chopped on the griddle with perfect browning, Cooper Sharp melting like it's supposed to, fresh Amaroso rolls flown in from Philly that actually have the right chew and crust. Place is small, family-run local business. If you grew up in the Philly burbs or just know what a proper cheesesteak is supposed to taste like, do yourself a favor and get over to Winter Garden. Easily the best cheesesteak in Central Florida, full stop. Already planning my next trip. TL;DR: South Jersey/Philly expats, your search is over. Go. Now. Bring napkins.

Bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted with passion--whether you're into crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, refreshing hefeweizens, or something seasonal and creative, they've got you covered. They also gave me a sample to try, since I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. They offer 8 and 16 ounce versions. I went with the larger one and enjoyed how crisp and refreshingly cold it was. I'll definitely try some more of their drinks next time I'm at the market. Highly recommend.
