This was my first experience and if I'm being honest I don't really eat fast food. Everyone raved about it and I had no time to cook so, I thought ok I'll try it. It's fast food. It's like a well cooked smash burger with 2 thin patties. I imagine only one patty wouldn't be enough. I'm not a krinkle fry fan because I find them starchy. The line to wait for your food was new, don't mind that, if you have to wait, it's a good system. The special sauce is don't care for. It was like a cheap tzatziki sauce which...to me doesn't go with any of the food there, so that was odd. Sadly for me, it wasn't my favorite and it wasn't some life changing burger or anything and I still don't know why it's called a butter burger. Maybe they cook it in butter instead of oil? No clue. Always wanted to try Culvers, since we don't have any in Pennsylvania. It was very good. Huge menu selection, burgers, Pot Roast, fish, chicken. I got the Smash Burger with Onion Rings, and Cheese Curds. Burger was juicy, with bacon, cheese, onions on a fresh bun. Good, crunchy Onion Rings. Fried Cheese Curds make me happy. The management at this restaurant is not involved. 1) Took my 8 year old daughter and sat down in the dining room. She noticed all the swear words that were via the overhead speakers. Store management, did not. 2) Submitted a concern via their online customer service portal- received a call back! But the guy who called me MUMBLED HIS WAY THROUGH WHATEVER HE WAS TRYING TO SAY. It was a clear fail at trying to fix an issue. And then 3) Ordered and paid for an $11 hamburger. After payment but before the food was served, i asked if i could change onion rings for fries and would pay the upcharge. This was too much for the staff to handle. The amount of confusion displayed by the guy behind the register and whoever was managing him was shocking. It was not a difficult request but nobody seemed to understand how to solve it. My order was filled quickly and accurately, which doesn't seem like much but when other locations have forgotten your curds multiple times, it means a lot! The curds are the best part!! Today we went to Culver's here in Colonial... it was a pleasant experience. Since we got there someone greeted us, and even though it was busy, they took our order fast! After ordering we just took a couple of minutes and sure enough someone brought our order over, with a smile. While we were eating we noticed a few staff members working on cleaning the tables, floor and restocking the napkins and silverware... on top of things. While driving in Colonial Drive, we passed by one of the Culver's locations, and since we were super hungry and thirsty, decided to stop, sit down and order some food. This location's cleanliness was pristine. My sister went into the women's bathroom and noted that they even had towelettes! Ordering is super simple, and the servers are incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. We ordered a "butterburger" with mushroom and Swiss combo which is one of their specialties, some onion rings and a chocolate "concrete" with cherries and and peaches add ons. My sister ordered a small butterburger with cheese, fries and a drink. The meat in the burgers was "smashed" which made them ever so delicious. The fries and onion rings crunchy and freshly fried. I love that they have order direct to your table, but I don't love that today it took more than 25 minutes - and when the food arrived there was no hello, no "how are you?' I was missing my drink, And he said somebody else will bring it out. You guessed it... 15 minutes later nobody had brought it out. The food was... Ok. I love going into this Culver's. There's almost never a line and when there it is short. The servers are nice and friendly. They bring you your food very quickly. When it gets there it is delicious. I always get a corn dog and fries. I also love getting the ice cream here. It is so good! The food is affordable while still being high quality. The inside is clean with plenty of seating. The north has got it going on with Culver's! Their butter burgers are made fresh when you order (so be ready to wait a bit if it's a busy day) and their crinkle cut fries are just the ticket! The server at the drive through windows were extremely patient and kind with us as we browsed their menu, and offered suggestions when we asked. We have tried the cheese curds before, but it's that butter burger that sent us over the top. We got cheddar cheese on our burgers, but you can get American cheese instead if that's what you fancy! One of the people in our party has a peanut allergy, so we were told to stay away from any of their desserts, but I am sure they are just as good. Really glad we don't live too close to here, or we'd have gain 100lbs by now. Yes. They are THAT good. This particular time (as you can tell) we did the drive through and patiently waited for our food to be made fresh (came out piping hot as usual, caution with those fries! Need to cool down a bit before you bite in them) but when we did dine in the restaurant, there was plenty of space, however the acoustics were kind of loud. My friends from the Midwest were excited about the local arrival of Culver's, so I was looking forward to checking it out. The Bacon Cheese Deluxe Single burger I had was good, better than most fast food burgers, and came with all the trimmings I like. The specialty here is frozen custard, especially "concretes" made by mixing in ingredients. I had vanilla custard with mint flavoring and m&ms added. It was very tasty, fairly indistinguishable from soft serve ice cream. It's worth noting that custard is REALLY high in calories compared to alternatives. It's also worth noting that the serving sizes are really large. I had a "mini" which, when I was a kid, would have been called a large. Between the caloric content of the custard and the size inflation, it would be easy to order a single serving that had over 1000 calories! Service was very friendly. It came out to approximately $20.15 One great thing about Culver's is you can always count on getting your food piping hot & FRESH! This specific location has been hit or miss. I usually give a restaurant 2-3 times before I won't go back. This is the 3rd and I won't be going back. Before they have given us an entirely wrong order that I didn't know until I arrived home and was given cold food after waiting for over 20 minutes. Tonight I orders a vanilla milkshake. It was basically milk, not cold or frozen at all. The guy behind the window said it was because they "were getting ready to close and it was what was left in the machine." It was 9:00pm, I checked before I left to make sure they closed at 10:00pm. It states that it does on their website and on Google, so it needs to be updated if not. Friendly service with a smile and delicious food! I couldn't be happier that there is a location in Winter Garden! I was making a 40 minute drive (one way) to Clermont just for their delicious food. Paved parking is sort of limited when it's busy. There's a dirt lot that people park in when the paved spaces are full. This isn't your typical fast food restaurant. You order at the counter, they give you a number, you go sit down and they bring it to you. With the drive thru, they put a number on your car door handle and run your order out when it's ready. There is a nice patio that is covered with a good amount of tables. It appears to be dog friendly as I've seen people with their dogs here before. I love all of their food, but their butterburgers are my favorite. I also like their fish sandwich- nice and crispy and not too much breading. Make sure to try the fried Wisconsin cheese curds and don't leave without getting some custard! They have a "flavor of the day" posted outside on their sign. But we went last night and it's probably going to be out last for a while. My burger was cold. Cheese didn't event melt because it was so cold. My wife's order was wrong, but they halfway made it right. She ordered a pot roast sandwich and was given just a cup of room temp pot roast.
