The employee was also running food out to the tables so we ordered on the iPad (which was really easy to use). Once you order you are able to seat yourself in one of the tables or booths they have around the space. It was clean and nice /minimal decor. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. It came out cooked exactly as ordered and had a lot of flavor to it. I was not too hungry so didn't order any sides with it and was full after the burger. My oldest had a plain burger and she really enjoyed it. My youngest had the chicken tender kids mean and she said the chicken was well cooked and juicy. We also ordered some wings (garlic parmesan) which were also well balanced in flavor and well cooked. Great quick serve with good food. Be sure to stop in and check it out.

The staff was nice but it took a little while for the food to come out. They have daily specials that include burger, fries, and drink. The special ends at 5pm. Once I located this hidden gem tucked on the corner of a shopping strip, I went in with high hopes. The menu was definitely ambitious but nothing so far over the top that I wouldn't try it. The young man at the counter who greeted me was very happy to give recommendations and was definitely proud to work there. I decided on the Turkey Burglar minus the onions, an order of fresh cut fries and a bottle of water. While I waited, he and I chatted for a bit and it was easy to see he had a real interest in, if not cooking, good food experiences. I was actually kinda bummed when my order was finished because of the great conversation. I hopped in the car and the first thing I tried were the fries. I LOVE French fries. These were fresh cut, fluffy in the middle, fries! Not that dense potato texture you get when they're not properly double cooked. This was definitely a sign of good things to come. The turkey burger was juicy, well seasoned, and the combination of lettuce, Brie, bacon, Granny Smith apple slices and raspberry mayo was everything I needed in that moment. I didn't waste a bite. I look forward to my next visit when I'm up in the area, and I'm definitely bringing my friends and family.

No one else there, but the owner / chef was eager to serve us and helped everyone choose the burger that best suited their tastes. I ordered the gouda bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. Everything is fresh made, so there was a bit of wait as he prepared meals for all six of us, but it was worth it! My burger came piled high with a freshly grilled beef patty topped with two slices of bacon, caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, a couple of onion rings, horseradish sauce and melted gouda cheese on a brioche bun. I'm not always a fan of brioche buns for a burger as they tend to fall apart, but his held up well to all the overflowing toppings. The onion rings were super-crispy and I also got to try their fries which were a tad undercooked, but tasty overall. Make sure to ask for the "That One" sauce for dipping your sides in...kinda like the bloomin' onion sauce you'd get at Outback. Delish! We had a solid meal here, would definitely return if in the area again.

My server suggested the smoked old fashioned (17 dollars) to cure my blues. It sure did with the light smoked flavor, yet strong enough to let my happy and relaxed. Since I am trying to avoid beef, I took the dependable sockeye salmon burger with salad (16 dollars). The salmon had the great flavor and was plentiful. It tasted fresh and healthy. The tomato, lettuce, and onion were fresh as well and the mustard complimented the burger nicely. My salad was wonderful and the vinaigrette was such a nice addition. I couldn't leave without dessert, and the ole reliable creme brulee (10 dollars) had a creamy custard with a great shell. It was so enjoyable. The service was great, and while the atmosphere was a bit quieter, I still didn't feel lonely at all. I wish I was able to go to the fountain area afterwards, but the rain and storm had be back to the free garage immediately. The Hangry Bison is still my favorite place for burgers. If only there was a bison to hop on in the restaurant, it would have been much friendlier than the bull last week. It's still a great and underrated burger restaurant in downtown Winter Garden. The Vibe: We came on a Saturday and the parking lot was packed, which we took as a great sign--and it was. You walk through a fun outdoor patio before heading inside to order, and the space is incredibly unique--colorful, eclectic, slightly hipster, with dog photos and quirky decor everywhere. The line to order was pretty long, but we noticed a few open seats at the bar. We asked the bartender if we could order there, and she said yes--pro move. Skip the line, grab a bar seat. Drinks: We tried the house lager, which was solid and refreshing. What We Ordered: * Homemade Queso + Flavor Bomb 3 * "Famous" Pulled Pork Sandwich * "What the Fig?" Sandwich Standout Bite: The queso with Flavor Bomb 3 was incredible. Sweet, savory, and completely addictive. The pineapple in the flavor bomb added the perfect touch of sweetness and made the dish really stand out. Sandwiches: Both sandwiches were excellent. The pork was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. The classic pulled pork was great, but if you like bold flavors, the "What the Fig?" is the way to go--the fig jam added the perfect sweet-savory balance. Flavor-packed and messy in the best way. Sides: Sandwiches come with your choice of Miss Vickie's chips, house-made slaw, or both for $1 extra. The house-made slaw was a standout for me--fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Overall: Great food, fun atmosphere, and a unique experience from start to finish. We're already planning our next visit--and next time we're bringing our pup since they're dog-friendly and fully embrace it. Pro tip: Head straight to the bar if there's a long line--and don't skip the queso with a flavor bomb.

Before I even got my food, I had a great interaction with Mercedes at the counter. She was genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and didn't rush the moment, which set a really positive tone right away. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it, and when it came out, it was clear they don't cut corners here. The sandwich was fully loaded from one end to the other, with finely chopped steak that was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top, so every bite had that same balanced flavor. Even with all the toppings, nothing felt overwhelming, and the bread held everything together without falling apart. It also came with fries, which were hot and crispy, and I paired everything with a peach Crush. That combination worked really well, especially with how rich the cheesesteak was. Between the quality of the food and the customer service, this is an easy recommendation. If you are craving a cheesesteak and want something that actually feels worth it, this spot is a solid choice. The ambience was just simple. It gave a mom and pop shop vibe, I love it.

My parents and I all got sick to our stomachs, feeling bogged down, overloaded with grease, and just gross. The chicken salad sandwich was uninspired and boring. The French dip sandwich (I don't remember what name they gave this on the menu) was just okay. That's it, just okay. And worst of all, the pastrami sandwich (55th Street on the menu) was just wrong. Overly buttered bread, sweet and rich cole slaw that was only on half of the sandwich, and honestly good pastrami meat. However, no spicy mustard flavor despite it being on the sandwich, which is disappointing and crucial! The flavor of butter/oil from the bread simply overwhelmed the sandwich, and the sweet/creamy slaw just really threw a wrench in the entire thing. The bistro fries came out lukewarm, and not a flavor that I prefer. Wish I just stuck to the apps. And did I already mention we all got sick? I want to give 1 star, but Daniel and the apps were worth an extra star of their own. We won't go back.
