    wings and fried green beans

this was a solid blast stop on our trip to Strawberry. They've got some good beer and very kind servers. The food is just all right, but it is your typical brewery type food. The fried green beans were tasty and the portions are big. I recommend sitting outside.

Once you figure out the hours they are open...come by. Pine has limited options for food and this is one of the better ones. Had the southwest pulled/smoked chicken sammie today and it was really good. Homemade macaroni/shell salad was really solid and fresh. Roadrash IPA was awesome. Now I know the hours and will always refer to who is open for when I come for my quarterly visit.

Really cool place to visit in Pine! Lots of dining space and the servers are very friendly. We had lunch there and food was great, and the fried pickle spears for an appetizer are really unique and tasty. They have a bunch of local beer options that are great. We got a beer sample flight for $10 with their local options. All of them very fantastic and I am excited to come back again to try the seasonal flavors in the fall

Man the specials tonight were bomb! Had the wings in this Thai sauce and this perfectly fried zucchini. There was live music. Absolutely I perfect Mother's Day. Our waitress even gave us some blueberry cobbler that was to die for. So happy I experienced that. Oh and that broccoli garlic stuff was the best broccoli I've had in my life.

I don't know why this brewery does not have a better rating, that puzzles me?! We went to the Tonto natural bridge and specifically drove to this brewery just for the food! The outside sitting area is awesome. It is dog friendly. There's game for kids and it's all around. Awesome. I had the fried chicken burger and it was so juicy messy delicious !!! I decided to try and be healthy since it was fried and got the celery and carrots instead of french fries! Since my side was celery and carrots, I had to order more ranch and it was disappointing that I had to pay for it considering they're so small & half full, of course you are going to need more!. ‍ thumbs down only on that part. So I was with two more people, and we all loved what we had, raved about it and left 1000% satisfied! A friend had the same sandwich as me but fries, and the hubs had the recommended most popular burger

I really enjoyed That Brewery. The staff was so friendly, the food was yummy and the beers were cold and tasty. I'm an IPA guy but I do recommend the Strawberry Blonde Alw, especially if it's warm outside. That Brewery is a laid back atmosphere, awesome views of the pine trees and an awesome patio area. Looking forward to going back next time I'm in a Pine Az.

Service was friendly, sat at the bar and the bartenders and even customers were very nice. Place is clean and has a very welcoming vibe. At the moment I didn't have any food, but from it passing by it looked delicious.

We ordered the smoked brisket sandwich, fried pickles and beef and elk chili. All three are a recommended choice. The service I must admit was exceptional (ask for Kelly). This small town restaurant is a must stop for all passing through.

It's was alright can't say we loved it but must say we love to eat outside so that was a definite plus

I've stopped in here a few times before when visiting Pine and it's always been a good time. The patio was enclosed (during the cold months) to keep out the cold and is dog friendly. Service was great. I love that they were offering half off on wine bottles. The spinach artichoke dip was delicious and my French onion soup had a great depth of flavor. Great option when up in Pine.

Have been here a few times. Great food and beer. We had an awesome server/bartender in the back room for our group of six. She made good recommendations. I recommend the Arizona Dip & the Strawberry Blonde beer. So good!

Ask the Community - That Brewery & Pub

Hi there. Any gluten free options?

A GF option would be the two meats & a side. Double brisket with coleslaw. It comes with a slice of white bread on the side, we didn't eat. That may be able to be substituted! It was good just the brisket no bread!

    Is the patio dog friendly?

    Yes

We had the deviled eggs, pulled pork nachos, wings, and a blue cheese burger. It was all perfect! I don't normally like deviled eggs, but there were a few of us & we were sharing everything, so I tried one & discovered I really liked their deviled eggs. I liked the bacon touch they added & the spicy Chipotle mayo sauce was so good. Wings were cooked so nicely...light, nicely seasoned crisp to the outside, tender/juicy inside. Buffalo sauce was really good too. Their pulled pork nachos were amazing with all the layers of flavor. The portion is also huge! We definitely had to take most of it home. The blue cheese burger was perfectly cooked with a really good quality blue cheese. Came with a side salad & the blue cheese dressing was definitely a nice one. All this, plus drinks (soda & wine) for 3 came in under $100, which was also a surprise! Definitely a good place to grab a good, very well cooked dinner in Pine.

The reason I rated so low is due to the Cons outweighing the pros!! Cons: in a matter of sitting at the bar for 5 minutes, I observed a bartender (Carol) that was incredibly rude to not just one but several other customers. She was verbally aggressive and makes it very clear that she does not enjoy her job or being around customers any longer (if ever). The attitude made the entire side of the bar extremely uncomfortable and everyone agreed that they will not be going back when passing back through. The owner should really look into the matter because she is single handily pushing the customers and profits out the door (if the owner is even concerned). She gets mad over the music selected from the juke box and does not think twice before making snarky comments to paying customers. The Cons are unfortunate and maybe something will change one day and we'll all be more excited to go back for great food and fun memories!

My wife and I spent a week in the Payson area and we wanted to enjoy some really good food, so the Old Country Inn was on our radar. Pine is a unique town with a lot of natural beauty, so we sat on the patio. The highway was busy, but that didn't matter because it was a gorgeous day. Our server Joyce was great. She made recommendations and helped us select the Burrata Pie based on her description. It did not disappoint. I wish I had taken a photo of the whole pizza before we ate the entire thing. Several things stood out. The crust is soooooo good. The char from the wood-fired oven was perfect. The pepperoni was also the best I've ever tried. Now add the dollops of Burrata Cheese, hot honey, fresh basil, and cracked pepper. Best. Pizza. Ever! I've enjoyed the numerous varieties of pizza that are available. And I've eaten at that famous one in Phoenix. Sorry, but I would choose the pie that requires a four-hour round trip over the local fav. Make the drive and you won't be disappointed!
