There's just so much to love about this spot. I believe they are only doing take out now but I…read moredrive twenty minutes each way just to get it. The food tastes...real. Ok that may sound strange but I also go to mai Thai in Smithfield and it's decent but everything is always coated in a thick sauce and you don't really feel like you're eating individual ingredients. Here you definitely do. Everything looks and tastes like it was made in a home kitchen. Mostly because it is. The owners are husband and wife and absolutely adorable. The food is so fresh and cooked with love. I hate that expression but it's so appropriate for here. I will say there are a couple misses on the menu, particularly the Pad Thai. It's not particular good at all. Most everything else is delicious. My favorites are drunken noodle, mama noodle, coconut shrimp and veggie pineapple fried rice. The rice is a little bland but actually is really nice with the other strong flavors. Their chicken fingers are not at all what you would expect. They are basically chicken tenders you'd get off a kids menu but you know what? They're really good! This is the best home style thai food I've had in Rhode Island and the owners are so appreciative of your business you can't help but come back time and time again. Definitely recommend!

If you want Thai food, I would easily recommend this place…read more We sat down to eat once and ordered takeout once. Both in-person and to-go/takeout services were good: friendly and pleasant. Ordered the papaya salad, drunken noodles, pad thai, and thai tea (with jelly) for two people. Everything tasted really good. We got the papaya salad spicy, and it was appropriately spicy for a Thai restaurant! The thai tea was sweet (as this drink often is), but had that tinge of bitterness that I like from good thai teas. Everything tasted great: well-seasoned, not too sweet/salty/oily. I would recommend everything we ordered. We had some leftovers to take home. On our takeout order, we got the pad thai, pad see eiw, and Thai fried rice. Everything was packaged nicely and was still hot when we got home. I thought the quality of the pad thai was the same quality as when we sat down to eat. I also like the flavors of it and appreciate that they didn't have a side cup of fish sauce to add. Good! You're the chef, you tell me how it should taste and I can judge afterwards. My judgement: It's really yummy pad thai, probably my favorite. Parking is easy if it's not too crowded; there are spots immediately behind the restaurant. 4 stars because I am very happy to be a repeat customer. This might be an unfair opinion, but I wished the portion size was a bit bigger (although, I would not want the quality to go down as a result).

The food took awhile to get to us but we weren't in a rush. Plus, it meant that everything was being made very fresh, which our food very much was. Among the 10 of us, we ordered a lot of food, including the papaya salad, dumplings, scallion pancakes, yellow curry, and pineapple fried rice. The scallion pancakes weee perfectly crispy and flaky, and were really quite good. The papaya salad also had all the fine flavors. Everyone also enjoyed the dumplings. I think the pineapple fried rice could have been more fragrant and I was disappointed that the yellow curry wasn't as sweet, or as fragrant as I'm used to, but it was still really good stuff. But I'm glad the curry came with rice and that we didn't have to place extra orders there. Overall I'm really glad we settled on this Thai place - it was really quite good and the prices were very reasonable. They also made it very easy for us to pay by keeping separate tabs for each family. And it was nice they have a private parking lot as well so you don't have to park your car in the street. I definitely recommend this place. The place is well decorated, clean, and has a good amount of tables for various customers.

We got the Mango Red Curry (red curry paste, coconut milk, red and green bell pepper, mango) with vegetables (zucchini, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, string bean) and lunch special Green Curry (green curry paste, coconut milk, eggplant, red and green bell pepper, bamboo, and basil ) with tofu. Both were savory and creamy deliciousness, green was sweeter than red. Tbh the mango was intriguing but unnecessary. The rice was well-cooked. I also always get Thai Iced Tea, which was classic here with good amount of tea flavor and sweetness (although we did wish there was less ice). The ambiance is casual: lots of seating and bright light. Service was fast and friendly. If you pay with cash, the final bill is a little lower (~$1.50). There's street parking around. 9/10 would recommend!

We started with the lamb kavap and shared the ginormous chicken stew, and finished off with the honey cake. Every this was so flavorful. The lamb is served on skewers with 23 different spices. Definitely tasted cumin, paprika, peppercorns, garlic, and so many other spices! The chicken stew was so delicious. Be warned that it's big and spicy! Definitely a kick of peppercorns. I believe it's a full smashed whole chicken so each bite has bits of bones. But the chicken is stewed in a rich, spicy broth. The stew has hand made noodles, potatoes, and peppers. We finished off with honey cake which helped cooled down the spices we just ate. Lovely slice of cake with a scoop of coffee ice cream. This place gets busy but they have a digital waitlist. We checked in with the host on the first floor, but she escorted us to the second floor to be seated. I always liked that this restaurant seems to be a small house converted into a restaurant since it literally makes me feel at [someone's] home. We were given QR codes to scan for the menu; not my favorite. I overheard another table ask for paper menus, so it appears there is that option. For a starter, we ordered handmade lamb dumplings and for entrees, original meefen and lamb on dry land with a side of white rice. It all ended up coming out around the same time and the tables are a little small so it felt like an overwhelming amount of food, but it was actually the perfect amount for two people. The lamb dumplings were flavorful, albeit, the wrappers were a tad too soft. The original meefen was very tasty, especially the minced meat. However, the uden noodles don't do a great job of absorbing sauces, so it felt like a lot of the oils and flavor were left behind. The lamb on dry land was good, but it was difficult to eat especially two people. We didn't realize it would be meat on a stick, similar to a turkey leg but less meaty. We ended up eating the easy parts, but took the bone home to finish out of the public eye. The crispy potatoes on top were my friend's favorite. The total was about $50 which was fair. Our waiter and other staff members did an excellent job of getting us all we needed and clearing plates as we finished. Their official website is one of the coolest I have seen since it includes audio and images, but I wish it had a description of what each item is, just like their in restaurant menu QR code.
