    Tom Yum noodle soup
    Simon M.

Haven't been here in a long time...since before it was called thailicious. Ordered the Tom yum noodle soup. To my surprise and dismay, it came with egg noodles. Not sure if I had a choice of rice noodle, but they didn't ask me. And the soup is much darker than I've had elsewhere. It's more sweet and spicy than the usual sweet and sour. For $15, it's a pass.

DO NOT order the shrimp wonton soup. It almost has no shrimps but wonton skin only. furthermore, the wonton skin is so old and hard. I have ordered many times because I am working near hear. But the kitchen workers make so make mistakes. They always have wrong meat When I order the food. BTW The cashier is friendly.

Did not like the cashew chicken. It was more of a stew. It did not come close to what a cashew chicken should taste.

Overall fairly good. Curry and Pepsi you know my favorite. Any type of orange chicken dish is not good. Haven't tried anything else.

Luckily there was…read moreno line when we arrived, but this place can definitely get busy, so I'd still expect a wait during peak times. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code, which was easy, and everything came out pretty quickly after we placed our order. They also have a sauce bar (extra cost) along with some sesame balls and rice crackers, which was a nice touch. Service was okay overall -- we did have to call our server a couple of times when we needed things. The inside of the restaurant is very pretty and clean for the most part, which made the experience enjoyable. Price-wise, it's on the average to slightly higher side for shabu, but overall a decent spot for hotpot, especially for special occasions or colder/rainy nights.

This was my second time here and overall it's a great experience- fun sauce bar, quick service, elaborate decor - what's not to like? As far as the eating experience goes, I'd give it a solid 4... that is until I went to the ladies room...or tried to. This was my first time going to the restroom and I was appalled by the mustiness of the air and the dirtiness that I saw. I'm familiar with restrooms at basic restaurants and I don't expect aromatherapy candles or scented hand soap but as a consumer I do expect a certain level of cleanliness especially at an eating establishment. I tried to just suck it up and bear it but had to leave as soon as a saw a thin black ring around the toilet bowls...(mold?!?!) Sorry if it's too much info but just had to share- go for the food and the picture worthy decor but skip the bathrooms till they have a thorough clean!

Other places have passed them by in some respects First there is no sauce bar here. Just four small containers of sauces you can use. Ironically none of those sauces are soy sauce. A darker possible peanut sauce, a sesame sauce, a pinkish possibly fermented tofu sauce and the standard chili oil. I wanted more as far as the sauce goes and I thought a sauce bar was pretty standard these days Second there is no AYCE bar with small snacks. Kind of interesting When ordering the meat, I guess they wanted to save a plate so the sliced meats just came in plastic containers. That loses some points with me on presentation Other than that everything is fine. They charge a little less for the broth than a lot of places do, so that's nice Got vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, noodles and a couple of meats. Overall it's a fine experience, mostly Ok to Good. But the lack of some things makes it more second tier for me and it would not be a go to hot pot place for me

I found this place to be a bit pricey, particularly because almost all the veggies/noodles/non-meats were priced at $4.95. In my opinion, the end pricing should better reflect the ingredient pricing. Service was very bad. We were seated, ordered, and brought the food. We never were spoken to again and had to call over two different staff members to get the bill, then pay for it. They do have large tables for groups. Overall, this is the best hot pot restaurant I have tried so far, but I didn't love it.

There are spots in the back, so make sure you drive around. Totally worth it. This place was one of the OGs with the $13.99-a-pound concept, where they weigh your bowl after you build it. Last time I came, I swear there was only one soup base. Now? FOUR options. Love a glow-up. I chose the spicy & sour medium soup base tonight-- loved it! You grab a bowl and tongs and just go to town--veggies, mushrooms, tofu, meatballs, proteins, noodles... basically everything your eyes say "yes" to. But remember: it's $13.99 a pound. And yes... it gets heavy FAST when you're shopping with your eyes. Hubby and I challenged ourselves to keep it at one pound. I failed miserably. 2.32 pounds. No regrets. The sauce bar is elite: peanut sauce, chili, cilantro, green onion, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, minced garlic... mix and match and live your best life. Now that I've tried it for the second time, I can confidently say--it's absolutely fantastic. Service was fast, and our server tonight was super friendly. Ambience was nice and chill. Also, who would've thought the night before MLK Day (with kids off from school) would be so busy? We came in at 6:15 and it was perfect timing. By the time we left at 6:45, there were about 20 people waiting! Luckily, it feels like the line moves pretty fast. Definitely a spot you need to try--and it just earned a place in our top dinner spots. Just maybe don't challenge yourself to stay under one pound... unless you have serious self-control! MUST TRY! The mushroom soup base is a must--rich, flavorful, and especially perfect when paired with rice. It's one of those broths you actually want to finish, not just cook in. For meats, I always go back to the fatty beef belly and the Angus beef ribeye. Both are high quality, well-sliced, and cook perfectly in the broth--super satisfying every time. Service here has consistently been great. Yes, there's usually a wait, but that's because this place is always packed--it's constantly poppin, and for good reason. The staff keeps things moving and still manages to stay attentive. But honestly, my favorite part? The snack bar. It's such an underrated highlight. They have a variety of snacks available, and I always end up grabbing extras to take with me for later. It just adds to the whole experience and makes it feel like you're getting more than just a meal. Overall, this spot lives up to the hype. Great food, great energy, and definitely worth the wait.

The hostess asked for our information to get us to a table more quickly, which I appreciated. The food options are vast! The basic meats are far cheaper than Hai Di Lao. The sauce and snack bar had many options that I couldn't decide how to build the sauce correctly. The soup bases were good. The cost is good for not having to drive to Hai Di Lao and getting basic meats. What's problematic is getting service. The servers are so busy, it's hard to get their attention. It took more than 10 minutes to get the bill and receipt. I would give this place better stars if they had more servers. Hai Di Lao is far more attentive and the tablet is very helpful. Lastly, the restaurant is small so it feels like you're in everyone's way when you're at the sauce bar.
