This is such an underrated place! I came on a Thursday night with my sister and my dad around 7pm…read moreand it was not packed at all. The service is superb and they were very generous with all the banchan that they brought out - which we are super grateful for! My favorite was the seaweed mixed with cabbage and the cucumber. For the entre, we ordered the ginseng chicken soup and the combo mushroom soup with bulgogi. Total bill came out to be $72 with an 18% tip included in there. Ginseng chicken tasted great and healthy. Tofu soup was good as well. The bulgogi was a bit sweet but that is expected. Overall, we all enjoyed this place and would definitely come back again. Plenty of parking as it shares a plaza with other shops (Daiso, sushi place, Jersey Mikes, bargain market, etc..). There are some strange people hanging outside so just be cautious about that going at night.

I'm currently on the hunt for a Korean restaurant that's decent and would want to go back in the…read moreSGV area but it's been a tough journey so far. I wanted to introduce my gf that lives in the area to tofu soup and this one was nearby and the only one in the area so we decided to give it a shot. It's odd for myself as a Korean American to go to a Korean tofu soup spot and there are no Korean speaking front of house members. I saw maybe one Korean ajumma in the back of house and that's it. Here's what we ordered: **Beef Tofu Sou (Medium Spicy): Easily one of the worst tofu soup (soondubu) I've ever had. First off, when I added the egg, the soup wasn't boiling so the egg didn't cook through. The soup base hardly had any spicy kick. The soup itself was very bland and had no authentic soondubu flavor. (1/5) **BBQ Short Ribs: The galbi was not that hot when it was served. It was very fatty and mostly bone. I do not recommend if you're looking for authentic galbi. (1/5) The banchan selection was very poor. The service was decent in the beginning but once I was ready for my check, it was really hard to flag anyone down. If you're looking for authentic Korean style tofu soup, I do not recommend. If you're catering towards a less flavorful Americanized tofu soup then this may be the spot for you.

Absolutely love this mom and pop korean restaurant!…read more I work in the commerce area and come here often for lunch. Such amazing deals! And healthy food too, made fresh, with love, and with amazing flavors. I love their Bulgogi, spicy chicken, teriyaki chicken or salmon. Their plates are the best because you can choose combos. Comes with rice and you can chose 2 sides, I personally love the chicken mandu and cucumber kimchi. They also have japchae, will soon have kimbaps for dinner, and is overall a fantastic place for a healthy, affordable, delicious lunch or dinner on the way home. They are located in a business complex, so the entrance can be easy to miss. But the sweetest servers and owners ever. 100% recommend. My coworkers and i love this spot!

What a great spot! I've only gone for lunches but have had their salmon and chicken bentos. The…read moremacaroni salad and regular and cucumber kimchi are yummy. The rice is always cooked perfectly and same with the meat!! There's usually enough food for two meals so the visit and price are worth it. They cook to order so the wait time is noticeable - however they do recommend calling ahead to order to prevent that (especially since if they're slammed then it'll get to a point where you can get antsy or frustrated with the wait). They don't have a server so there's no seating inside except for two single-seat tables. However, there are some bistro tables outside and a concrete one in front of a next door business. Also, they tend to run out of ingredients/options the closer to closing time so that's another good reason to order ahead. I definitely recommend this spot - it feels healthy, tastes good, and serving sizes are huge.

This time I got their laseng chicken set, tnt chicken sando, and 8 piece wings with their mala gala, red disco, anchovy, and seaweed one which I was my fave last time. All the chicken here was amazingly crispity crunchity and paired well with their made in house sauces. The laseng chicken set came with soft steamed broccoli topped with like a mayoy drizzle, crunchy sweet pickled radish, sticky rice, and a fried chicken cutlet topped with like a spicy, jalapenoy, limey sauce. The tnt chicken sando had a soft chewy bun, crunchy briney pickles, was decently spicy and lowkey reminded me of buffalo sauce. The mala gala wings had peppery spicy flaves, the red disco was more like a sweet spicy sticky situation, and the anchovy one was really savory, salty with a light fishy essence but nothing offensive. Overall this place is still pretty good. Laseng chicken set $15.99 Double TNT chicken sando $15.99 8 pc wing $17.99

Just some humble words of suggestion, this place needs a bigger menu. Fries is not enough, and def more entrees. I like the fact this place has a Music theme, but it feels half-assed. So some flavors on the menu have music references, but not all. This place opened right after another KFC place that was there after covid. I asked the server if this was new ownership or a re-brand. Didint really get a clear answer. Back to the food. I tried the Mala Gala & Red Disco wings. Both were fire. Samba fried were also yummy as well. Like I said earlier more apps and some Chimkin Sandos would totally change the menu, and maybe some more flavor options for the KFC wings. Plenty of parking right in front, located in the Downey Landing shop area behind the Benihana.

My favorite has been the oxtail, though I wish the oxtail was meatier. The broth is delicious to use and their portions are great. They also have some great appetizers and their shaky beef plate is also really good. We also like their horchata drink. Unique and delicious! Also, make sure to request their chili paste! They have great service, super attentive and friendly. You pay up at the front after you're done. It's a simple place, not much decor. But they got all the flavors so it's fine. Plenty of parking in the area as well. You gotta try it!

However our last 2 times going there was a girl there, didn't get her name, but she has copper orangeish hair, she wasn't nice at all. I raised my hand to ask for something and she looked right at me and walked away, I then got up to go ask someone for something and she happened to be the person who came out of the kitchen first so I was going to ask her and she looked at me and walked back into the kitchen. A different girl came out and she helped me, I was just looking to get utensils, something so simple but it's been 2 times that we go and that same girl is there and she's not helpful, not approachable, not nice. Otherwise we do like the place alot! The owner is sometimes sitting there doing work and if she sees it gets busy she gets up to help her team. Food is really good! Always spot on!
