The food was soo good I'll definitely be going back!! The price was totally worth it and it was about a 5-8 minute wait which was perfect! I would definitely recommend if you love hibachi!

Filet Mignon and Chicken Combination is the plate to get.

Awesome food and great customer service !! The family loves this spot and the filet mignon is the the go getter.

The dragon roll (deep fried) is too dry all together for 46 is not worth it. The rice was ok but it's not worth the buck

They all sounded pretty similar, but the slightly more expensive ones were better. Looking back, my first visit was for happy hour oysters, so they probably weren't the freshest batch. We also got hot, crispy fish and chips, and steamed clams and mussels. The standout was the Bouillabaisse, recommended by our waiter over the cioppino. Great call, the broth was delightful and well balanced with just the right amount of spice. We went on a Saturday night and the vibe was a pleasant surprise. Live DJ spinning R&B and throwbacks, fun energetic atmosphere, and drinks that were surprisingly affordable compared to a few cities over in Pasadena. Glad we gave it another shot. I'll definitely be back for happy hour, which runs daily, though I might skip the oysters this time around. Then again, who knows.

Love their food, our server "a tall caucasian server" he was constantly checking on us and asking us if our foods came or not. I really wish I got his name. When he was not busy with the customer, I saw him sweeping the floor, help keeping the restaurant clean at all time. Very good worker. Thank you for your great service. We will be back very soon.

The service was nice to their customers and were very helpful on what to try out on the menu. The ambiance here was quite nice. Was very spacious and I feel like it would be a great place to hangout with friends and family after a long day of work. Would definitely recommend this place to all Seafood Lovers!

For the price of food and the amount you get, I can't complain! The flavor of their own seafood boil sauce (boom sauce?) is a standard seafood boil flavor, it's legit. The flavors don't overwhelm you and make you wanna go to the toilet right away, you know what I mean? The family pack comes with 3 corn on the cob, 3 sausage pieces and 3 potatoes (like a medium sized potato!) it was good but I wish the seafood had time to sit in the sauce, you can tell the food was dumped on the sauce. We had to fight to scoop some sauce onto our mussels cause the bag was so full of food- what a good problem to have. Maybe the sauce is a bit thin? Maybe that's why it didn't stick to the food? Service was good, the ladies were attentive and professional. The decor looked like this place was known to be a bar- I mean there's a huge bar to the side. There's even a second floor but no one was seated there so it doesn't look used. Cute decor with the sea theme. Not happy about their toilet in the women's restroom. There's a a sign saying to please not dispose the toilet seat covers in the toilet cause it could clog it up. I was being a nice person and went to the trouble of respecting their wishes. It was gross as I was being careful not to touch the peed parts of the toilet seat cover. Don't judge me, only God can judge me! Come here to feed your family and friends at a very reasonable price! And if you're a lady you're gonna have to hover while you pee if you don't want to deal with the toilet seat cover disposal issue...

They have the VERY BEST Oysters Rockerfeller in Los Angeles and the oysters and clams on the half shell are always fresh and tasty. The King Salmon Roll is exceptional and the cookie and ice cream desert amazing. If you are lucky enough to be seated where Chris is your server, you will feel like both family and royalty. We eat out at least once a week and, of all the fine restaurants we visit, Chris is possibly the best server in the Los Angeles area.

We started with the oyster sampler featuring selections from Hollywood, MD; Pope's Bay, VA; Buzzards Bay, MA; Chesapeake Bay, VA; and Wellfleet, MA. The oysters were exceptionally fresh and served with great accompaniments. We always order oysters when visiting seafood restaurants because freshness is so important to us, and Water Grill absolutely delivered. A must-order. The grilled Spanish octopus, served with fingerling potatoes, Niçoise olives, roasted tomato, pine nuts, and olive oil, was very good (3.5/5). We're fairly picky when it comes to octopus, and while we would have liked a bit more char, it was still among the better versions we've had. The New Zealand king salmon sushi with avocado, hazelnuts, papaya, and white soy-lime vinaigrette was fresh, clean, and delicious (5/5). While not particularly unique, it was executed perfectly. The crispy calamari with harissa aioli and cilantro-mint sweet chili sauce was also well done (4/5)--crispy, not oily, and very enjoyable. Calamari is another dish we frequently order, and this version met our standards, even if it wasn't especially memorable. The standout among the appetizers was the New Zealand pink bream ceviche with cilantro, red peppers, onions, lemon juice, and olive oil. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were incredibly fresh (5/5). We only added a touch of salt. This is another must-order dish. The Peruvian bay scallops with pistachio citrus pesto were somewhat underwhelming (3/5), and the Brussels sprouts with bacon and chestnuts (3/5) didn't leave much of an impression either. The lobster itself was excellent (5/5)--sweet, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The accompanying coleslaw wasn't our favorite, but we'd happily order the lobster again and probably go for a larger portion next time. The absolute star of the evening was the Massachusetts black sea bass. It was easily one of the best dishes of the night and possibly one of the best fish dishes we've ever had at a restaurant (5/5). Tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. To top it all off, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary birthday dessert featuring chocolate cake, vanilla cake, oatmeal cake, and ice cream. It was thoughtful, delicious, and a wonderful ending to the meal (5/5). Overall, Water Grill earns a well-deserved 5/5. The quality and freshness of the seafood were outstanding, the beachfront ambiance was beautiful, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Definitely a must-try seafood destination in Los Angeles. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience--we truly appreciated it.

We ordered the combo for two, all shrimp (fully peeled for $2.00 extra & totally worth it). We also ordered garlic bread and oysters as an appetizer. Everything came out fast, hot and perfectly cooked. The spice level was just right, potatoes and corn were delicious, soaked in the sauce for a perfect bite. The shrimp were cooked to just the right consistency, not overdone and rubbery. It also came with sausage, which was plump and flavorful. Not too spicy. The oysters were fresh, briny and paired with lots of lemon (upon request) and Tapatio. Delicious! The garlic bread was good, and supported the meal well. Our server, Nick, was great. Attentive, helpful with the menu and Johnny-On-Spot with more napkins, lemons and refills. We got there at around 5:30, without a wait (for a party of two). However, it was already packed, and by the time we left, there was a good amount of people waiting to be seated. The restaurant was clean, lively and bustling. There are even robots rolling around delivering food, utensils, etc. A pretty cool experience. For two people, we had a great shrimp boil with delicious sides, garlic bread and six oysters as an appetizer for a great price. Can't wait to try it for lunch. We'll definitely be back!!
