I came here last week and I don't think I'd come back. First of all, the service was not good. The waitress didn't put in my order of tacos gobernador that I had placed. Everyone in my table got their food. By the time my table was done with their food, that's when my food came in. The waitress didn't charge that meal as it was an error on her end. She was very forgetful. There were only two waitresses there and they had a large party too which I understand they were busy, but that's still no excuse. Not to mention, the card was given to her as we were paying and she forgot to bring us the receipt and our card so we had to walk to the register and she even asked, "how can I help you?" Completely forgot that she had our card on her register and had already charged us. The food was not the best either. The shrimp empanadas were more cheese and batter than anything. They also don't clean their shrimp there. The rice in our plates were undercooked. In regards to the environment, they play really loud music in there because they do Karaoke. You can't even hear yourself talk due to how loud the music is. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with the food or the service. I wouldn't come back here at all. read more

So I used to.come here and get the Agua Chile a couple years ago abd it was good. But then about a month ago.i went again after I had a day with the fam and got the ceviche and oysters. I will never go back. I had the absolute worst food poisoning I've ever had and was sick for 3 weeks. I could barely eat anything and im assuming it was the ceviche because once I started eating it I felt off and didnt even eat a quarter of it. Late review but better late than never. Was craving fresh seafood so I came across this restaurant. For starters I ordered their shrimp empanadas with a cucumber drink. I must say the empanadas were the best I ever had.They consistently brought me lemon and salsa which I love. I couldn't wait to try their main dishes. Boy was I disappointed. My chicken was bland and cold. My fiancé ordered their garlic fish fillet. I tried it and it was rubber like with zero seasoning yet alone garlic. Honestly the worse fish I've had. She returned it and settled for more shrimp empanadas. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse the bill came with and automatic tip of 15% but was actually 18%. Then they bring you the bill to sign and expect another tip on top of their self implicated 15% tip. Folks they add up your total bill plus the tip and then expect you to tip on top of that.Sorry but that's unacceptable. If your food was average I don't mind leaving a tip. Never going back. I really wanted to try this place as their outside venue and presentation was very inviting. Once I walked in, it certainly did not tell the same story as the outside. I ordered the 'Campechana' cocktail with shrimp Mariscos and abulon and a tostada de ceviche de camaron and ordered it to go. My drive was merely 5 min and could not wait to try this meal. To my disappointment, the shrimp on the ceviche was not cleaned at all and it grossed me out. The same with the cocktail; I had to clean each shrimp in order to eat my meal. The flavor was not that good and I spent more time adding my own ingredients (Clamato) and cilantro to make it taste a little better. Definitely not coming back to this place. read more

This place is the best for Mariscos. I went here a few days after they opened and everything we ordered was delicious. They have the best and freshest ceviche, oysters are tasty and fresh. The chef even gifted us some shrimp empanadas to try and they were great. My boyfriend had the garlic shrimp plate and it was so flavorful. We came back for my birthday because I couldn't think of anything more delicious to enjoy to celebrate my day. read more

Good place to stop by. I personally don't like sea food but recommend this place for sea food lovers. All their seafood comes fresh from Nayarit every morning. The service is very great very nice people and they make you feel welcome. I always come for fresh squeezed lemonade, it's perfect for summer, they give me free refills not like raising canes that charges 50¢ for a refill of lemonade. I come here when I bored and have nothing to do, this place has the vibes, sometimes they have live music and I just come to chill and vibe with strangers. read more

This is the first time I have tried this restaurant. I ordered a cooked shrimp ceviche tostada. It was pricey! On my way home, I was thinking it better be good! Well, let me start with the amount of shrimp; it was more tomatoes and onions than shrimp. I had tried this tostadas in other places around the same area, and they are way better than this place. Greeted by a very friendly waitress Salas were hot and spicy, just the way they should be. Ordered the soup and fish tacos. Tacos are a good size and the fish was crispy but Not dry at all inside. The shrimp soup was delicious a lot of shrimp and vegetables. The broth was flavorful. Cucumber lime agua frescas was refreshing. Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu. read more

Finally got a chance to try this place. We had the empanadas de shrimp, fajitas de carne, tacos de marlin and Bean and cheese burrito. Everything was great. Service was very friendly and quick. I understand that COVID has made matters worse & a lot of people prefer to be unemployed then working. Point is that this location is extremely short staffed. What made me very upset is that my husband had order a plate of chicken come to find out 45 minutes later by the waitress that there was no more chicken? Drove by and saw this place and went inside and asked for a menu. Everything looked good so my boyfriend ordered a tostada mixta and langostinos. I got a tostada de ceviche de camaron. We paid over $50 and the tostada mixta was dry and had way too much imitation crab with 2 shrimps, the ceviche de camaron was whole little pieces of shrimp that was completely uncooked, I know the lime juice cooks the ceviche but the shrimp looked blue still, I had to add more lime juice and cook it myself because of the rawness. The langostines sauce wasn't good either. This was over priced and half assed. I did not enjoy this place and neither did my boyfriend. Sucks we came across this location. read more

We ordered from this location on Grub Hub, when we picked up the order customer service could have been better, as we were leaving we noted that our order was incomplete. When we asked the waitress about the missing order, she gave us many excuses and said it was not their fault. She checked the order, it was their mistake. We ordered 4 plates, 3 out of the four plates were not of great quality. Within the restaurant, there were 3 men who were obviously drunk and making way too much noise and giving dirty looks to those who came in. No suitable for a friendly family environment. My family and I came here to eat on Sunday for Lunch. Not busy at all, our party of 10 got to chose our own seat and there was a nice roomy booth available. We were immediately helped and brought ice waters. The pineapple and jimaca waters were very tasty and come in giant mugs. The kids meals are simple with quesadillas, chicken nuggets and fries; all three of the items are super good! I ordered shrimp ceviche tostada, it was tasty and a big serving. My mother ordered chicken with rice and salad. The food came out quickly except the chicken was the last plate to come out. I recommend this place if this is what you are in the mood for. The fresh mariscos were delicious.. Had the molcajete and compechana. The waitress was attentive. But you want to know how to lose a first time customer? It takes a really long time to get your food. After about 30 min I got my compechana...but where is my second item...the waitress apologized and said that it will take longer to make. How can I eat my food and wife just watching? After 45 min from placing order, we finally get the second item. Owner of Las Islitas, you just lost two customers because the long wait times. Walked in for a lunch date around 2 pm on a Saturday. Nothing against the waitress who was very attentive. She was very nice but wow the food is absolutely terrible. It was over salted and took forever to get to our table. It's extremely over priced for microwaved food sitting under a heat lamp. We ordered oysters, an azteca molcajete and tacos gobernador. The only good thing ironically was the item they didn't cook(oysters). Even then I was super suspicious about enjoying them from thinking they might make me sick. Also, if they placed signs they wouldn't have people walking up-to locked doors or walking in and not knowing if you can seat yourself or wait to be seated while the guys in the back just stare at you. read more

OMG! My new favorite place. Super delicious. My husband had the half pineapple filled with seafood. He raves about how good his was. I had the filete empapelado, a foil baked seafood combo with this scrumptious chipotle sauce. Went for Father's Day when we walked in restaurant was lonely so we got a little scared we weren't going to like it but we later found out they have live music in the evenings which I'm sure that's when it gets busy, anyways better for us we had our server treat us like no other place she was super friendly made us delicious margaritas and the food was amazingly delicious the ceviche was fresh going back again for sure. read more

Hoy fuimos a probar este restaurante que me salía en instagram,se miraba bien,la verdad es que la mesera era super atenta,la comida dejó mucho que desear,pedimos una mojarra frita,pero la Pura verdad estava llena de espina era mojarra barata, todo iba bien hasta que nos trajo la cuenta,no me enseño la cuenta solo me pregunto tarjeta o cash,le dije tarjeta me dio la maquinita para pagar,le di el 18% de tip que son como 14 dolares,cuando me dio la copia de la maquinista y el primer recibo es cuando este lugar dejo de ser un experiencia ok ya no volvemos a este lugar,lo que no te dicen es que si usas la tarjeta te cobran 3.9%por usarla, siendo un restaurante grande están muy mal. La.propina si lo pagas por tarjeta te lo suben que es ilegal,si en Cash dejas el 18% te sale en $10.80 pero con la tarjeta te sale en $14.29.si en verdad este restaurante quiere que vuelva la gente no debería poner extra cargos sin avisarle a la gente que es en contra de la ley cobrar más de lo debido. read more

If I could give no stars I would because this is one of the worst Mariscos in town. I came there decided to order some chicharron de pescado, extremely excited to try it. They told us 15 min wait so we waited and when we came back for the order they realized they forgot to put our order in and made us wait a whole hour. The cashier's have horrible customer service skills and did not make us feel appreciated nor welcomed what so ever they kept passing us and walking away. Extremely unprofessional and a major lack or management skills. Never come here because you'll wait hours for your meal. Good customer service typically means providing timely, attentive, upbeat service to a customer, and making sure their needs are met in a manner that reflects positively on the company or business, which this restaurant does not have either of those qualities. They need to be retrained a realize this is a business not a fun house where you can slack. read more
