The pad Thai was a dry flavorless brick. It was legitimately hard to break it apart. Beyond how dry it was there was absolutely no flavor.

When my buddy told me about Thai Yummy, I wish I would've freed up my schedule to eat here a long time ago! I asked the owner for Thai spicy and he had the biggest smile. So I knew he took it as a challenge and it fully met my expectations of what Thai spicy should be! I was completely happy with the giant portion size, flavor, price and service so I'm for sure going to be a repeat customer. They love what they do and connect with you with amazing food. Overall happiness and chill place! Must have on your food spot list.

    Pad See-Ew with Tofu

Yummy is right. I ordered the Pad See-Ew with Tofu and Basil Fried Rice with Chicken - mild spicy for both. The order was ready for pick-up upon arrival, packed in to-go containers, and piping hot. I have to compliment their portions because they packed a lot of food in both containers, considering it was just $8-$9 each. The basil fried rice was delicious because the rice was flavorful, which the grains had the right texture you'd expect from fried rice. The ingredients were spread throughout the item - without too many veggies overbearing the other ingredients. The chicken was evident throughout and cut into portions so they melded well in a single bite. The sweet basil sauce wasn't too sweet and tasted like a light teriyaki sauce. One thing that could've elevated the dish was to add egg, which is normally in fried rice. The pad see-ew had very flavorful and soft wide-rice noodles. I'm used to eating this dish with narrower rice noodles, but since they cut the wide-noodles into sections, it worked for me. The sauce was light - similar to low sodium soy sauce with a hint of teriyaki - and the veggies were steamed well that they were soft. The tofu was evident in each bite, which was cubed and had a soft texture. The overall dish wasn't too greasy and had great flavor.

    Drunken noodles.

Fastest friendliest Thai-est food in town. Don't skip the wings or Thai coffee before the all excellent entrees.

First time visiting Thai Yummy and as I was walking up to place my order, I was greeted by Jason. Hella friendly and kind and guided me through the menu explaining to me that his personal recommendations were pretty much... everything on the menu lol (love it). I ordered the Pad See-Ew (Spice Level: Super Hot) and could not be more satisfied. The food was fresh, full of authentic flavor, and spicy just how I like it. The portion was perfect for the price (9 dollars) and I can't wait to come back again!

Located on top of Marquam Hill at OHSU is a Food cart serving Thai food. During lunch time, it takes 20-30 mins to get your order, but for the quality of food, it's definitely worth it. I got the spring rolls, chicken wings and Thai lime tea. The spring rolls were fried to crispy, with a little bit of the filling exploding out. The chicken wings were coated with a spicy chili glaze, not too spicy, but definitely had a kick. It was crispy too. The Thai lime tea uses what seems to be the same base as the Thai tea they offer but they add lime in it instead of half and half.

Some of the tastiest and spiciest Thai food I've found in Portland. A little out of the way, but worth it! If you want the spiciest you'll need to emphasize that you wanna feel it tomorrow. They'll take care of you

Wings were mushy, not crispy. Phad Thai did not have enough sauce... too many bland rice noodles.

I had the Kid size PB & Bananas with honey, and OMG it was nummy. I took home half because it was a large serving. The waffles were perfect: crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Spirits were high. Expectations were hot. Unfortunately... the restaurant was not. I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt colder inside than outside. We had just survived crazy wind chill and somehow walked into what felt like the extended edition of winter. I could see it in my family's eyes -- if I made them stay, I might be eating that khao poon alone. After about five minutes of studying the menu (and seriously debating toughing it out), we had to call it. Between shivering and imagining our soup cooling at record speed, it just wasn't going to work. We genuinely wanted to stay -- which is the tough part. Please, for the love of warm noodles everywhere, get some heaters going in there. We'll happily come back when we can feel our fingers while holding the spoon.

I tipped generously assuming the food was going to be excellent. We ordered 2 Langua tacos, asada burrito, carnitas burrito and a carnitas quesadilla. We were told that it would be about 15 minutes. The space is right on 26, so fairly noisy. There were a few tables an available. The food was ready on time and we went home. I cut the carnitas burrito in half for my daughter and found 2 large bones. My other daughter, who ordered the carnitas quesadilla, found a bone as well. The carnitas itself had good flavor but an abundance of grease was an issue. The asada was pretty good and balanced with the beans and rice. The Langua had some spice to it and was flavorful and tender. The tomatillo and spicy sauce were great. The burritos were mislabeled on there boxes (asada was carnitas and vise versa). Pretty disappointed and hope this occurrence is not the norm.
