Basic salad and then got only one type of poke so not as interesting as he hoped. Maybe better on rice but not something he can eat. Very limited seating space. The ambiance is very tropical and fun, and love that they have such a spacious bathroom! They have an extensive drinks menu, like several pages long! With so many guava, pineapple and coconut-based options, it was honestly confusing on what to get but we decided on the classics: the Lei Lani Volcano and Lava Flow. The drinks were so creamy and delicious yet dangerously strong! Also, can we talk about the portion sizes? My drink was literally the size of my face, like what?!! It is best to come here in large groups because their shared drinks/scorpion bowls are a total showstopper! It is in a very upscale neighborhood of Portland called Grant Park, so it was fun to walk around and see all the cool houses - there was one imitating a thatched roof and what not. Well it's like to patties in one burger a decent beef one and the spam. The spam gives a nice salty background but is surprisingly not in the foreground of the taste. The teriyaki sauce is not to much and rounds up the overall taste. The pineapple is kind of the star with being in sweetness and the needed texture. It's not crunchy but different. Overall a well made tasty burger. Ps if the restaurant gives you a wet towel from the beginning you know what's coming and this was juicy messy burger!

Everything, even the Kalua, was made to order. We got combo plates to start and we couldn't believe the portions, it could have easily lasted 2 to 3 meals (for a normal person, naturally we crushed it).
