    Fried tofu

This place never disappoints! Had lunch with friends. We ordered the Tom Kal soup with mushrooms only, the pad Thai noodles, fried tofu and the mango sticky rice. Everything was delicious. We didn't order the lunch specials but that's always a great deal for lunch. The food comes out quickly and the service is always good. It's a small place but very popular.

Went for lunch because it was close to where we were and it got BUSY! We figured we must be in the right place! I got the lunch panang curry which was quite tasty. It came with salad, soup, and a few fried appetizers plus the panang curry with my choice of brown rice. The brown rice was more like a mixed rice which I enjoyed! The panang was good too but this was the first time I had pineapple in my curry. The portion was a good amount for lunch! However, I did see a lot of people ordering the non-lunch menu items. I didn't compare the pricing, but if you want more of the main dishes instead I think that is a fabulous idea. Other friends got the pad Thai, stirfry, sweet-and-sour chicken, good and everyone enjoyed their dishes. The ginger tea was a surprise and that it was almost like the ginger candy flavor. I thought it was just going to be unsweetened ginger tea. Our food all came out at different times, so everyone started eating at different times of the food didn't get cold. Plus the people that came in after I seemed to get their food first, but otherwise everything was great. Overall, recommend!

Half portion of what they NORMALLY serve

For the most part I've ordered here even brought family and friends on several occasions. This time I decided to walk in and order a papaya salad but to my demise when I arrived home I got less than what they USUALLY serve. I guess they must be hurting for money or just skimping out on their portions to customers ordering to go. Make sure to check your orders if they are to go, I won't be ordering or taking my business there anymore.

Stopped in for lunch. Small restaurant. I ordered pork green curry over rice. It came out quickly. The flavor of the sauce was good though the pork seemed to be boiled in the sauce and for too long. Lots of thin green curry with some carrot, peas, pieces of pork, and tough too much bamboo shoots. I missed eggplant which would have been better than bamboo shoots. For what I was served, I consider the price too expensive. Side of rice came with it tasted good.

The plaza where this restaurant is located looks a little run down, but the inside of the restaurant was shockingly nice with great decorations. I got the cashew nut entree with seafood. The dish was so large and came with lots of veggies. The ratio of onions compared to the carrots and celery was a little too much though. The seafood included 4 mussels, 2 scallops, shrimp, fish, and calamari. The seafood was surprisingly tender. The mussels didn't taste the freshest, but were still solid. The scallops were my fave - soft and delicious. The fish was too heavily breaded, so you couldn't taste much of the fish. The broth was light and not too salty. My fiancée got a curry dish, which he loved. Each dish was around $20. Overall a great quality and great value meal!

I called ahead for a takeout order today at 5 pm and they told me it would only be a 10 minute wait. They were very nice on the phone. When I came in, it seemed like casual dining here, and they were kind of busy. I ordered the yellow curry and asked for them to add eggplant to it for me. I also ordered a Thai tea. My order was ready when I arrived. The yellow curry was good, but I do wish the curry was thicker. However, their veggies were cooked nicely. In terms of the Thai tea, I wished it was steeped longer- I didn't think it was strong enough.

Easily missed mom found this location for us to try for our Saturday night out meal. As you can see, outside it doesn't look like much but step inside and it's a different story. It like looking through a hole to another world. We started with a yummy Tom Kha. We ordered a small and there was enough for 3 of us! So began our introduction to the large portions that they offer. dad ordered a steak dish that came with the dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was too spicy for him, but the beef was good. Mom and I ordered different versions of pad sei eww. It was good and we each had boxes to take home. A little greasy and the vegetables were Kris, which is good for me but undercooked for mom. Service was good, Overall, we enjoyed it.

    Pad Thai (Chicken & shrimp)

Hands down the BEST Pad Thai in town. I've tried Pad Thai from just about every Thai spot around, and nothing compares to this place. The noodles were perfectly chewy, not sticky or overcooked, and the sauce had that perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and just a little heat. They are super sweet and attentive. Super clean environment.

Mango sticky rice with almost no rice

Service was mid, did not interact much. Food, not very appealing. Sticky mango rice, which by the way, was 12 dollars, contained too much mango and very little to no rice.

I ordered the salmon special with brown rice and it was very good! It was in a sauce of panang curry. I'd like the vegetables weren't overcooked they were crunchy and not mushy. Parking could be pretty tough but coming here at the right time. I don't think they'll be any problems, but I definitely recommend this Thai restaurant. The service and the ambience is perfect !

The Pad See Ew was delicious--the noodles had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. The fried chicken was easily one of my favorite things we ordered. It was lightly fried but still had an amazing crunch on the outside, while the inside stayed incredibly juicy and tender. Definitely something I would order again. We also tried the curry, which was really flavorful. We ordered it at a spice level 4, but it honestly tasted more like a level 1 to us. It could have used a little more heat, but the flavor was still really good. The fresh spring rolls were good and tasted fresh. My only small complaint is that they could use a little less lettuce so you can taste the other ingredients more. The peanut sauce that came with them was really good though and made the rolls even better. The service was also great. Our waiter was very nice and checked on us a good amount of times throughout the meal, which I really appreciated. One small detail that really stood out was that as soon as we sat down, they brought out a child's plate and plastic utensils for our young child without us even having to ask. Normally, that's something I have to request at restaurants, so it was a nice bonus and showed that they welcome young children. Overall, we had a really good experience. The food was fresh and flavorful, the service was friendly and attentive, and the little extra effort for our child was appreciated. The fried chicken was definitely the standout for me, and we'll be coming back!

This venue does not seem to be a very big. A portion of the restaurant appeared to be closed off so I could be mistaken. They do offer indoor and patio seating. We came on a warm evening hoping to get some relief with AC but, that wasn't the case and it felt warm in the restaurant even with ceiling fans going. Customer service was amazing! Every food item we ordered was delicious although I did not care too much for their peanut sauce that came with their Fresh Shrimp Rolls. Nor did I care for the sauce that came with the Crying Tiger dish. Their sweet n sour sauce seemed to be your average sauce you can purchase at any Asian market, nothing special at all in my opinion. We ordered: Pad Thai with shrimp - Good flavor and texture of noodles Calamari tempura - loved the fact tentacles were present but, it was a bit over fried. Chicken wings - crispy outside yet juicy inside...perfectly cooked and flavor was good Fresh shrimp rolls - refreshing and good, I just didn't care for the peanut sauce it came with Yellow curry - great flavor, potatoes and carrots were a bit too large for my liking. Their heat level ranges from 1-10. We ordered a heat level of 8 and even at 8, it wasn't that spicy. Classic Thai Fried rice - perfectly textured rice! Good flavor and comes with a lot of veggies Crying Tiger - Steak cooked to perfection, presentation was lovely! Loved all the veggies and the sauce that came on the plate with the entree. I did not care for the dipping sauce unfortunately. If in the area again, I would definitely return to try more of their dishes!

We were not greeted by an employee at the hostess stand and finally sat ourselves. It took 15 minutes for a server to greet us and ask for our drink order. Once he arrived for our drink order we put in a small food order to test out the quality of proteins. It took 40 minutes to get two hand rolls and one albacore sashimi order. The order took so long to arrive that once it did, we quickly put in a specialty roll order before trying the hand rolls. The specialty roll came out in two minutes flat, I did see a roll sitting on the sushi bar before we ordered. I believe we got someone else's roll because I asked about the long wait times. After the roll was delivered a server came over to our booth specifically to make a snarky comment, he said "you're lucky this was fast, people wait 1 hour for this on Fridays." The restaurant was clean, had a neat wall painting and the parking was free, those are the only positive experiences from our visit. The sashimi was dry as if it had been sitting out not properly stored. Hand rolls were mostly rice, the only protein is what you can see in the pic - gone in one bite of a 4 bite roll. The specialty roll was average. This was a very unpleasant experience, we will not go back and will not recommend to friends/family/yelpers. It should also be noted that we went on a Sunday afternoon and there were 3 sushi chefs behind the counter, 3 servers on the floor and 1 host. Hard to understand why the wait times were excessive and service was poor. Our server did acknowledge that the service was slow, however, he did not offer any apology, he just shrugged it off.

This might honestly be my favorite meal. Even if it's quite a drive from San Diego, it was well worth it in my opinion. The Güd Burger completely lived up to the hype. The double Wagyu patties were juicy and full of flavor, the cheese was perfectly melty, and the sweet chili aioli brought everything together. I wasn't sure what to expect from the ube brioche bun, but it added just a hint of sweetness that somehow made the whole burger even better. Nothing overpowered anything else. It all just worked together. The Kare Kare bowl was generous in the Kare Kare, which I appreciated. The physical bowl felt too small compared to the amount they gave us! I'm glad I was sharing this with someone else because I was already full halfway through the bowl. We had to order the ube churros as well...don't skip this! The dipping sauce it came with was so good. I kept dipping my churro into it too because it was that good. The churro was crunchy without being dry. This whole meal was one of those meals where you don't want it to end. It was my first time here and we waited 45 minutes for our food to be ready because of how busy it was. Some people ordered ahead of time so they skipped the wait altogether. The restaurant itself is quite small but we were lucky enough to snag a seat after rush hour. First thing.....PORTIONS ARE LEGIT. They definitely not back there counting pieces of meat like it's coming out of their paycheck. You get a good amount of food for sure. I got the sisig rice bowl. Flavor was good, portion was solid, and I definitely ate it...but was I sitting there having a spiritual experience over the sisig? Nah. It was good, just nothing that had me texting the group chat like, BOYS. GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW. THEN MY HOMIE GOT THE SHORT RIB BOWL. Bruhhhh. He let me get a bite and immediately I was mad at myself. I'm chewing his short rib while looking down at my sisig like, I chose you over THAT?? That short rib was GOOD good. Next time I already know what I'm ordering. We tried the mac too. Mac was cool. It showed up. Did its job. Clocked in, clocked out. Nothing bad, nothing life-changing. NOWWWW...we gotta talk about the environment. I went to use the bathroom and suddenly felt like I had accidentally entered the employee storage room side quest. Stuff seemed like it was everywhere, and the whole place just felt like it needed a good cleanup and organization day. AND THEM FLOORS?!?! Slippery AF. I was walking back from the bathroom like a Filipino uncle leaving the dance floor after three Red Horses little steps, arms out, praying I don't end up on Yelp as part of somebody else's review. That was probably my biggest issue. When I'm eating somewhere, the environment matters. If the back/bathroom area feels cluttered and the floors got me ice skating back to my table, it starts making me question things I don't even WANT to question while I'm eating. BUT I gotta give credit where it's due....the service was GREAT. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and nice to us. And honestly, that's why I'm rooting for this place. The food has potential, portions are generous, service is friendly, and that short rib is . If they cleaned everything up, organized the place, fixed the slippery floors, and made the atmosphere feel more inviting??? BRO. This place could be PACKED. I'd definitely give them another shot. But next time....SHORT RIB BOWL. I learned my lesson.
