Tofu tacos
Nikki O.

This place is soooo good! Service is quick, friendly and accurate. We have been here several times during our visits. We ordered the vegan tofu tacos and spring rolls. Definitely a great stop. Plenty of open seating too!

A permanent food truck located in the Waikiki area. A fusion mix of thai and mexican...all I know is they had vegan tacos.... I got an order of Spring Rolls and the Tofu Tacos.... Overall nothing special about either one.... The Tofu tacos were basically standard tofu wedges put inside tortillas with some peanut sauce....nothing special about it but i guess it just gives an option for those who don't eat meat....but wouldn't get that again was pretty plain overall....

I got the tofu tacos, and they were simultaneously some of the best tacos and some of the best Thai food I've ever had! Once I added my personal habanero flakes, they were perfect.

Three taco mix plate

I came here with my husband on a Saturday afternoon. Thankfully there was not a lot of people, I think we must have missed the lunch rush. We saw this fusion food truck and thought this was a really interesting concept. We opted for the three taco mix plate and got a thai tea horchata. The three taco plate came with chicken satay, crispy pork, and thai grilled beef. Unfortunately we couldn't eat most of this meal. Everything was overly salty and was honestly just not very well executed. The beef had an underlying seafood taste to it, and the chicken was a bit overcooked. The crispy pork was fine, but I really didn't think anything was too special about it. I think these dishes could be better balanced with a better sprinkle of lightness. While the tacos do have a little raw cabbage on the bottom, I think that's a sorry excuse for trying to elevate it to be fusion, then to top it all off with a spicy aioli really made the dish way too salty. The thai tea horchata.. wow 100000/10. I would come back just for this. Honestly one of the most unique and delicious things I've ever had. I loved the overall spice that you got from the traditional thai tea flavors, and combined with the cinnamon and underlying nuttiness that is familiar to traditional horchata. I don't think this place is terrible, but definitely has potential to be better. I think with some improvements on their execution of their tacos and meat reheating preparation this place can do really really well.

Thai Taco is one of those unexpected gems you stumble upon in Waikiki and immediately want to tell everyone about. Tucked into a cozy outdoor food court on Kūhiō Avenue, it has a cute and casual vibe with picnic-style seating and some shaded benches that make it comfortable to sit back and enjoy your meal. The service here is warm and welcoming -- the team behind the counter was so friendly and helpful in walking me through the menu. It really adds to the experience when you feel genuinely taken care of. As for the food, it's simple in concept but bold in execution: true Thai-style flavors, wrapped in a tortilla. I tried the Taco Mix, which came with three different tacos -- grilled beef, tender chicken satay, and a crispy pork belly taco with a crunch that you could hear across the courtyard. Each bite had that unmistakable Thai balance of savory, tangy, and a touch of spice, but presented in a fun, handheld form. 2463 Kūhiō Ave, Waikiki If you're looking for something unique in Waikiki that's both casual and delicious, Thai Taco is the perfect spot to grab flavorful food, enjoy the friendly service, and relax in a cozy outdoor setting.

Got the Thai beef and pork belly plate! I enjoyed the pork belly. The Thai beef was too salty for me. I ate it with rice and salad and it was still too salty. I'll have to try the tacos next time. Service was amazing! It's located in an area of other food trucks too. There are tables out front to enjoy your dish.

I got the mixed taco platter and it was pretty good. One of the chicken tacos had an odd flavor to it, but the other two were quite enjoyable. I am pretty disappointed that I spent $10 on a side of fries that were extremely bland. literally no flavor, no seasoning, no nothing. Pass on those.

Thai shrimp tacos

Woah!!! 10/10 I ordered twice in one sitting because it was that good! Thai tea was super delicious and service was quick despite the long line they had! Would definitely recommend trying this spot out!

I absolutely loved this truck. The portion sizes are really decent, and it tasted great. Also the outdoor seating area is nice if you can catch it when it's not so busy.

I've found my new food obsession in Waikīkī. I was starving and didn't want to walk too far from my hotel, I found this food truck only a 5 minute walk away. It's very tiny, but the flavors they produce are big and bold. I opted for a trio of tacos; shrimp, chicken satay and beef. The peanut sauce on the satay taco was delicious, the beef was tender and juicy, and the shrimp was plump and flavorful. I am obsessed with this little truck and plan to make it my first stop every time I find myself on Oahu.

Small but tasty food!

Ordered the thai tacos (3) from here and they were delicious! Packed a lot of flavor and the chicken tasted of good quality! Highly recommend these to share for a lunch! Update: Came back another time on my trip and had the chicken satay with rice. Food was delicious and pretty big portion.

Chicken satay tacos. So. Good.

The food was incredible, and the staff was always warm and welcoming. Even when prices were on the higher side, it was worth every penny. The last time I visited it was 8/12/26: Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably dropped over time. I recently brought a coworker here, promising her a great meal, and it was honestly embarrassing. I spent $75 on two Birria taco sets and two drinks. I understand inflation and price increases, but the experience was nowhere near the cost: Service: The employee behind the counter didn't greet us and stayed on his phone while two of us waited to order. He moved incredibly slow, forgot our drinks, and then brought out the wrong ones. Another table mentioned waiting 45 minutes for their food in an otherwise empty restaurant. He also kept going in and out of the bathroom. While we ate our take out order there, he probably went to the bathroom 5 times in 45 minutes. And the worst part was he was the only one working the counter. Food Quality: The $25 Birria plate came with three very small tacos--smaller than the palm of my hand. The tortillas were soggy as if undercooked, the meat lacked seasoning, and the consommé had no flavor. The drinks were so overly sweet they were hard to finish. It's sad to see how much things have changed. Between the lack of customer service, high prices, and poor food quality, I won't be returning.

The owner, Thyda, and the other two men working with her were such amazing hosts and so hospitable! My daughter and me walked over from Whole Foods and ordered a carne asada burrito ($16) and a chicken quesadilla ($10). We ordered it to go, but got to sit down with others enjoying their food, talk story with the owners, and meet a cutie pup named Whaler who just roamed around like their little mascot. We could've sat there and talked all day with them but we needed to get that food home so we could tear into to. The bag was heavy lol The carne asada burrito was so big and hefty, and I could only finish 2/3 of it, and to be honest, going to finish it after I finish this review. The meat is well seasoned and the ratio of the fillings to meat and tortilla were perfect. My daughter LOVED her chicken quesadilla and that was definitely a winner too. The meat was seasoned so good and for the price was so good. Everything was just such a win today with food after coming to them. Do yourself a favor and try anything from them, because I guarantee it will be great! Flavor was solid, portion was generous, and the food itself is the main reason I keep coming back. The ambiance is chill and local. Most of the afternoon crowd seemed to know each other, which gives the place a comfortable neighborhood feel. That said, the inside is a little dingy and could probably use a renovation. The issue on this visit was the service. When we got there, it was pretty empty, maybe 4 or 5 people sitting at the bar. The guy working behind the bar seated us, but then never brought menus, never brought water, and never came back to take our order. When my friend tried waving him down, he ignored us. Eventually another employee came in, and the bartender just told him, "Go take his order," without acknowledging us at all. I don't know if he was only working the bar that day, but he could have at least brought water, menus, or simply said someone would be right with us. Instead, the whole interaction came across as dismissive and unnecessary. Food was very good as always, but service matters too. Based on this visit, I'd call it 3 stars overall.
