Fantastic Red Curry Meal !!!
Michael C.

My red curry order was so delicious, authentic, kind of sweet, very aromatic. A mix of both smooth and savory as well as a big abundance of thoroughly cooked bamboo shoots, bell peppers, carrots and chicken to name some. Everything was very tender and moist in the sauce. The sauce wasn't like so many Americanized places where they just fill it with cream and sugar. It was made so well and unlike any other Thai place. Same with the other curry options here. All of the curries, drunken noodles and fried rice are excellent from this place. Great, welcoming, friendly service.

This place is a gem in Pearland for anyone that's craving Thai food! This place is kind of tucked away but that seems to be part of the appeal. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by our server. Everyone we encountered was so kind. The menu is pretty standard for that food. We started off with the egg rolls, they were fabulous. They were piping hot and crispy. A great start to our meal. We saw in the reviews the drunken noodles were a yelper favorite so we got that and the green curry. The noodles were flavorful and chewy. The curry was bomb though! It had a nice kick and the chicken and veggies melded great with the coconut curry flavor. For anyone looking for a good local spot, you have to check it out!

10/10. Dude I have been to this Thai place 3x in one week! I usually go to the Thai stellar in Webster/NASA area. I just found out this opened up. Thank god because there was a Thai place that was here previously and suddenly closed. It was really good. So Im glad a Thai spot opened in its absence. Let's see. We ordered the crispy red snapper with Thai chili sauce (T-1) at market price which was ~$35. They gave us the price upfront. Wow this fish was so good. I loved the cabbage and the bell peppers that it came with. There was so much meat on the fish as well. Like if you were thought chili on fish sounded interesting, you'll like this dish. It hits you will all the umami Thai flavors. The second time, we ordered this tea and hot Thai tea. Both were great. We also ordered the tom yum soup with chicken and pad Thai with chicken, peppered steak (spicy). We filled up on soup so I barely even touched the pad Thai. But when I ate it later it was still so delicious. My husband finished his peppered steak. It was a little bit spicy and so good! Portions were sooooo generous! I love the decor/ art work and the interior of this location. Staff were really nice and efficient as well The third time I came here, I ordered the chicken pad thai, and panang curry. I got too confident and ordered level 2 spicy. It was still pretty mild for the pad Thai but it was too spicy for me in the curry. Also! I didn't realize the peanuts were underneath the aluminum foil. I love the pad Thai here. They also have a great lunch specials here and close from 3pm-5pm daily just fyi.

Everything was delicious and the staff was great too! Going in during lunch time on a Saturday, the restaurant was about half full so we were seated right away. Pad thai: ordered two of these. One was without and spice for the kids and one with 3 spice. Great dish and it wasn't too sweet. I have noticed a lot of pad thai dishes are overly sweet now and I was pleasantly surprised this dish was not. Great balance of flavor, chicken wasn't dry, noodles were al dente. Green curry: my favorite dish. The curry was creamy, shrimp was plump and fresh, and veggies still had a nice crunch. Tom yum: ordered this one as Thai spicy. It definitely had a kick but was still enjoyable. Spicy, sour, and comforting. Fantastic over some white rice. Fried rice: pretty standard. Good amount of meat and veggies. I would come back for sure.

Food was very good and service was excellent. Was just a wee bit pricy, but just a little. Will go back and try some other dishes to see if they hold up. Hole in the wall that's doing well.

This year old restaurant I never knew existed popped up on Yelp while looking for Thai in the surrounding areas. Called and asked about vegan options before hand and they seemed to have enough choices so we headed here. I must mention here that the call was picked up in less than a minute ... When we got here we were the only customers and I think that's because this is a little off the main road. In fact, until we saw the restaurant, I myself was wondering if we were in the right place. For vegan starters there was only crispy tofu. We skipped to entrees. Apple was our server for the afternoon and she was all smiling and ready to help. The options on the menu do not say so, but she assured us that except Pad Thai all entrees could be made vegan. That was nice because most Thai places do not carry vegan red and green curry. Or even drunken noodles for that matter, without the egg in it. So, that's what we ordered: Vegan green curry with vegetables- excellent . Can add tofu for additional charge. Drunken noodles- got tofu added to this - very nice Thai coffee- good Tofu or fried egg can be added at additional cost. Tofu costs $2.50, and the egg was $2.50, although to me, it looked she was dictating prices just off the shelf... The quantity was decent, not Texas size but enough to qualify as a full meal for me, but I would suggest a starter for most others. The water somehow tasted weird and that was the only thing that did not work for me. Am glad I found dishes in vegan which I don't find elsewhere so I would visit again. If I have not mentioned before, service was super fast.

Beef pad see ew, beef pad thai

Went to lunch with some coworkers due to someone's suggestion because they had really liked this place before. It definitely met expectations! Small, dimly lit, but very nicely decorated, with ample parking. Had the beef pad see ew lunch special. It came with a spicy sour soup and chips with a sweet chili sauce on it, that was absolutely delicious. I finished it all before the main dish came out. The pad see ew at spice level 2 was delicious. It was spicier than expected for 2/5 spice but not excessively so. It had lots of meat, broccoli, and carrots and the portion size lasted me an additional meal. This feels like a mom and pop kind of shop. Will definitely have to come back!

Finally got a chance to try Thai Stellar that's a bit hidden away but has always caught my eye and I was not disappointed! I ordered take out and it was piping hot and delicious. I've always wanted to try mango sticky rice and I'm glad I tried it here first because it was so delicious and the portions were generous. The egg rolls were also hot and perfectly crunchy. The ambiance was super pretty and the service was kind & quick.

Veggie Cellophane Noodles

Thai stellar has become a staple in my diet since I moved to the pearland area. Firstly it has a great parking lot in front, it has the most friendly and accommodating staff, and the best Thai food! As a vegetarian, they still had so many options but I always go for the noodles! The very first time I tried Thai Stellar, I tried drunken noddles and their cellophane noodles and their noddles were so good! The best I've had in years! So packed with flavor! As a vegetarian I always ask them to omit the fish sauce, egg, and oyster sauce and they always do! Highly highly recommend for anyone craving Thai!! You have to try their clear cellophane noodles.

Ordinarily I'm not the biggest fan of sweet noodles so Thai noodles are not my go to thing. However I was feeling adventurous today and all the great reviews about their drunken noodles aroused my curiosity and appetite. THE HYPE WAS REAL YALL. Really real! This dish is PACKED with flavor, so savory and i love tht I had a choice in the spice level which I choose 3/5 and it was PERFECT. I'm Nigerian so I can actually tolerate 5/5 spice level but I have a toddler tht likes to eat my food and I can gladly share this with her bcz their level 3 is what I would call kid friendly. The portion is left and the decor is pretty cute too. All in all I will definitely consider this place a foodies gem in pearland. So so so so delicious

Mango sticky rice, pandan flavored rice
Stephanie Z.

Wow! I'm so happy to have found Thai Stellar for Thai food. We tried the mussamun curry, the green curry, and the mango sticky rice. Everything was amazing! The curries were full of flavor, and I loved that they added pandan flavor to the sticky rice (very light vanilla taste). The staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. It was clear they knew their food and took pride in it. The portion sizes were great. The restaurant was very clean. The ambiance is pretty casual and would be a great place for a meal with family and friends or low key date night. It was easy to find parking in front of the restaurant as it's in a small plaza. I'll definitely come back!

The service was stellar. I ordered a dish from the from the lunch menu and for most dishes, you get a choice of protein -- pork, chicken, tofu, veggie (all $13), filet mignon or shrimp (both $14). I got the Pad Prik King" with filet mignon - a stir fried dish with bell peppers and green beans in a chili paste. My husband ordered "Cashew" with chicken - it included cashews, carrots, bell pepper, onion and dried peppers. Both entrees came with a veggie egg roll. (pics attached). I wasn't a fan of my dish but my husband liked his. I did really like the egg roll. I think I'll give this place another chance but will get something different. Also, I'll get chicken next time. The green curry was the typical green curry you would find at a thai place, I would go hotter as even the 4 was a little mild. The shrimp and scallops were very tasty but the scallops were definitely on the smaller side. Overall we got out of here for around 58 pre tip/tax. The service and taste of everything was amazing but the curry was lacking in chicken which brought the 5 stars to a 4 stars. Definitely would come back though!

I genuinely feel like i should write this review because i don't want my favorite spot to be over populated, it's that good. The dinning area, the claw machine area, and even the bathroom all have to same beautiful feel. I couldn't recommend this place more, there is absolutely zero to complain about. The service is wonderful, the staff is amazing, and the portions are huge and cheap. This is my favorite place to eat in Pearland hands down.

Since we were in the area that day, we made a point to stop at this Wrap & Roll location to make sure it was not a fluke. And by golly, it was exactly what we hoped for! First, the portion sizes are huge as each noodle dish can feed 2-3 people. So unless you brought your appetite, you'll be needing a togo container. Main reason it's so large is because it's packed with protein. Second, the menu has a variety of items ranging from tacos/quesadillas to sandwiches, to noodles/rice, to chicken wings; so there's something for everyone here. And third, the flavors/taste of the eats. The combination fried udon is packed with shrimp/chicken/filet and all the meats are tender along with the noodles and veggies with this sweet/sour/spicy flavor that will knock out your taste buds. From what I read, all the noodle/rice dishes are similar to this. I also saw someone get the quesadilla which was huge and they immediately went silent when eating it cause they couldn't stop stuffing it in their mouth. There's no doubt I plan to return and I hope they expand closer to our neck of the woods in the Heights area. That's a wrap cause they're on a roll!

Here's what we ordered: * House Lo Mein - $14.99 * Stir-Fry Flat Noodles w/ Beef - $13.99 * Sweet & Sour Pork - $15.99 * Crab Cheese Puffs - $5.59 Total came out to about $54.74, which is pretty reasonable for the portion sizes and variety. The food overall was flavorful and fresh. The noodles were cooked well and had a nice balance of sauce without being too heavy. The sweet & sour pork had that classic crispy texture with a bold sauce. The crab cheese puffs were decent crispy on the outside and creamy inside but I do wish they had a little more crab flavor to really elevate them. One small detail I loved: the to-go bags. They were sturdy, well-designed, and matched the restaurant's aesthetic definitely gives that extra polished touch. Overall: Great service, solid food, and good value. We walked in and were told to sit where we wanted and handed menus. They took our drink orders first and after bringing our drinks, they also brought us small bowls with a consume style chicken soup/broth. This was tasty, I enjoyed it. They took our orders a couple of minutes after as well. We started by getting 3 appetizers, the calamari, chicken satay and the dumplings. My friend ordered the Pad Thai (medium level spicy ness so maybe a 2-3?), and my other friend and I got the Maiasian fried rice box which comes with shrimp fried rice and a fried chicken cutlet on top. You can also choose your level of spice on this dish. My friend went with a 2 and I chose not to get it spicy as spicy food causes me stomach issues. After placing our order, our first appetizer came out in about 5 minutes and it was the calamari. I could see the seasoning on the breading, they looked tasty and some were fried crispier than others but nothing was overcooked. Upon first bite, the flavor was really good but the spice on them kicks in after you've ate it and they are HOT. I can handle a small amount of heat but these felt like a 5. Needless to say I only ate two. The chicken satay was my favorite of the appetizers, the dipping sauce is peanut butter forward which I loved because you get the saltiness right away along with that PB taste and the sweetness and mild spice come after. The cucumber provided with the satay was the cooling agent I needed to sedate the heat from the calamari. It was cool, refreshing and sweet. The dumplings were pork and shrimp and come with a soy dipping sauce. They were tasty as well, not the best I've had, but enjoyable. Seasoned perfectly. My dish, the Maiasian fried rice box was delicious! The shrimp are a nice size, fairly big, and my favorite vegetable in the rice was the broccoli. The chicken cutlet was fried perfectly too. I really enjoyed it and the one my friend got wasn't too spicy at a level 2. I'd say it was still pretty mild. I did get a taste of the Pad Thai and at a level 3 spice I'd say. It was sweet with that spice kicking in after. It was milder than I thought but over all still a good Pad Thai. After we finished eating, they brought us to go boxes since we all didn't really finish our plates. It was a lot of food and they also brought us these home made cookies with a chocolate frosting on them in the shape of a star. Not sure what kind of cookies these were, maybe sugar cookies I'd say, but they were DELICIOUS! If they would sell boxes of these to go I'd buy 2 or 3 of them hahaha. They were the best thing to end our meals with. I forgot to mention that our food came out pretty fast, and the kitchen is in the dining area so you can see, hear and smell the food being prepared. Aside from the sound of the chef cooking, the restaurant has a quiet ambience and I find it quite cozy. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. It's really a hidden gem.
