Seems that new management and personnel doesn't make for a better experience. Tried calling in an order on Sunday evening while I new I'd be passing by. Was put on hold about 3 times before the line was disconnected. Called back was out on hold again then the person on the line sounded sleepy or high. They weren't answering questions about prices or menu options well and suggested I just come in. Obviously if I want to place an order over the phone I don't want to have to come in and wait but by that time I was already pulling up so I just hung up and went in to order. I ordered 1lb ez peel shrimp added corn and potato in mild garlic butter flavor They ended up being in 7 spice flavor. I also ordered 3lbs of crawfish add sausage and add egg. In flavor medium Cajun spice they tasted mild and like garlic butter at best. All of them were dirty. None purged trust me I tried to pick through them and kept getting mouth fills of grit. I ended up having to throw it away after searching the bag for my sausage and egg that wasn't there. So I went to wait to order in person and stayed and waiters for it to be prepared just for it to be wrong.... This location is always wrong with orders some way... I paid for 3lbs of inedible crawfish and a sausage and egg that I didn't get. I'd went around 7:30 pm on Sunday evening but hadn't drive over an hour away to do some errands and drop off a relative before I got to go home and sit down to eat. At the time I was able to sit down it was late that night and they were closed. So I called the next day Monday may 1st. Asked to speak to a manager but they said for me to explain to them. I explained to misael the one that sounds sleep or high, and he said I'd have to bring the food back for a re-order. I RE-explained all that I typed above thinking he must've fell asleep the first time I asked. And he said the only way he could try to do something like remake me 1lb or crawfish is if I brought it in. I asked, how can I bring in a sausage or egg I never was given? I RE-iterated that this is crawfish/ seafood that was already dirty and cooked with garlic it'll begin to stink quick!!! I threw it out! It was not able to be consumed! I also am not a pearland resident and live over 50 minutes away so if I'd knew the order was bad I would've never left the Resturant but even if the seafood wasn't thrown out and left to funk up my house. I'm not just easily passing by their location in a 15 min drive. I tried to explain to him that I understand where policy applies in most places, but in this situation or scenario, it really does not apply. I'm not a person that called from five minutes down the street while they are still open on that same day the food is not able to be kept for multiple days, and the food is already thrown away. I also refused the idea that he would offer me 1 pound of crawfish to compensate when I purchase 3 pound and a sausage and egg. he continue to reiterate that that was the only way I could expect to get anything so I asked to speak with the supervisor again. He gave me the name, Mercedes and a cell phone number to reach her. I have called and left messages twice as well as a text message and not heard anything back. I noticed sometime ago that it seems that they hit maybe new management or all new personnel but yet again, I say, new personnel does not seem to be better at all if anything, it seems to be worse. I guess I better stick to other locations or stop spending my money there all together because . I could not pass them up. I walked into the restaurant. The restaurant was clean, and the space was moderately portioned. There was a small line, but it moved OK. The staff was friendly. They took my order. I ended up ordering the fried combo with dirty rice and crawfish, and etoufee since they did not have fried crawfish. The shrimp and dirty rice were great. I like the pieces of pork in the rice. The rice was seasoned good with a hint of spice. The Etoufee was good. I would have liked it better with more reasoning.
