We walked in at 9 o'clock, there was one Hispanic female sitting at a table and there was 3 black females behind the counter and one of the girls was counting money. All of them looked at us but no one said a word...no acknowledgment at all. So I spoke and asked if they were still taking orders. The girl counting the money looked up with her mouth stuck out (mad) and did not say a word. I told my husband let's go! I will never go back to that location. I ordered rice From Silverlake and an employee did not know what she was doing and she charged me over $35 for another customers order. She didn't know how to fix it. She said she tried to void it. She called the manager. He didn't know how to fix it and he said it would fall off of my back account from pending and that I would not be charged. He gave me his phone number. It did not fall off. It has now been fully posted and charged and still on my account. I callled him to let him know. He said he would call me right back and he did not. He's avoiding me. Customer service is horrible. Two young girls/ladies come from the back, don't speak. I speak and they wait. I say one moment. I tell them I want a large shrimp. From the board, a large shrimp says 9 shrimp. She ask me how many. She does not know the menu but I clarify. No suggestive saying, pleasantry, add-ins, or anything. They are the dry. Yesterday was my 3rd visit to 7 Spice and the food has been delicious every time :) I've tried the Ez Peel Shrimp, Cajun Rice, Grilled Shrimp, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Boudin Balls. I drove 40 minutes to meet my significant other that just flew in from California and we chose this place to eat. I placed my order. My man placed his order and his best friend placed his order. The cashier asked what my order was, and was repeated two more times by my man. 20 minutes later, give or take they got their order. I did not get mine. When asked where my order was he asked us to wait a minute went to the back, then came back out and advised we didn't order anything else. Mind you, my man, and his best friend are already eating their food. Other people came and went mostly women which he didn't have a problem hearing and got their food in a timely manner. When asked if I wanted to go ahead and make an order I replied no! It took long enough to get the order to begin with! After my man sat down, the cashier went to the back, and was witnessed laughing at me with one of his kitchen fellow mates. Love the Missouri City location but this is closer to my home. Same great taste, just be sure to check your food before leaving. It's busy and sometimes they forget your condiments. They're doing to-go only right now and it's not always ready when you get there at the time it's supposed to be finished but it wasn't a long wait. When i got home my side orders had melted through their styrofoam container making it clearly inedible. This was disappointing and they should know better than to package their hot food in containers that melt. Other than that the fish and shrimp were good. I ordered Uber eats today from this restaurant. I get a call from the driver stating that the restaurant is saying my order was already picked up. My Uber app says the driver is at the restaurant, which he was and it shows the drivers name. Uber confirms that's the only assigned driver to my order. I call the restaurant and the person on the phone is extremely rude to me. I asked about the order in a calm and respectful manner and deserved the same respect. I even stated, "I am just trying to find out what happened to my order. Why are you being rude?" He continued to raise his voice, so I hung up. No need for me to be yelled at for something that wasn't my fault. They obviously gave my order to a random person and don't know how to speak to customers. read more

My crawfish underside was all black. The head on shrimp were so overcooked the shell was basically melted into the shrimp. They were pretty much inedible because they were dry, dry, dry. The potatoes were so mushy, I couldn't pick them up. The eggs were too eggy for me (but that's nit-picky). The corn was the best part of it all. Just got home from our 1st trip to 7Spice. You order as soon as you walk in so we were glad we checked the menu prior to going. My wife ordered a pound of crab legs and I ordered a pound of EZ peel shrimp. We ordered the corn on the cob and sausage as sides. I thought the sausage would be a small piece but it was a whole link, and very tasty, perfectly spiced. The price for a pound of shrimp was comparable to what you would pay in a grocery store, and the shrimp was great. My wife LOVED the crab legs too. Free drink refills, turning the TV on the game I wanted to see, paying when you order, (so you don't have to wait around for the check) and, providing gloves to eat with so your hands stay clean, just topped off this excellent meal. I sat in and waited another 15 minutes before one of the staff members noticed I was sitting there a while. There was 5 workers behind the register socializing and dancing. Very unprofessional! With the po-boys, we had an option to get fries, dirty rice, or cole slaw. We chose fries for one, and dirty rice for the other. Our total was $18. If we estimate that we paid $1 per shrimp that's $8. Therefore, leaving us with fries, dirty rice, bread, lettuce, tomatoes for $10!!!! This is horrible, and a rip off!!! I will never go there again! I visited the Pearland location today and ordered Catfish and Cajun fried rice. I was NOT impressed with the food. Firstly they are selling SWAI fish and NOT catfish!!! Complete false advertisement, they are charging more for Catfish but selling you a cheaper grade of fish and true seafood eaters knows the difference between the two types. I spoke to the assistant manager Julio and he said that they sell SWAI-catfish. Not only are they selling swai, they are slicing the fillets thinner then selling it . Secondly, If I'd know I was getting thin sliced-SWAI fillet fish I would not have asked to have it fried hard because this made my fish real dry and rubbery. I will not be going back until they change their menu description to thinly sliced SWAI fish instead of catfish. 0/10 would not recommend due to false advertising!! read more

This is now my 2nd visit and I'm dissatisfied with my order because it was not prepared accurately. *Accuracy is posted on a sign in this restaurant . While placing my order I simply asked that my side be substituted for shrimp fried rice the cashier confirmed that was fine, but added fries to the order. When I received it and told her the issue she stated I'm unable to get shrimp fried rice only cajun rice with no proteins (ie. Shrimp, sausage, crawfish).
