I went to this place during lunch. They give you chips with the sweet and sour sauce on it and some tom yum like soup with it as an appeitizer. I thought that was unique and tasted good. Sweet, crunchy, and hearty. I ordered the Thai stellar curry level 4 spicy. There are 5 levels of spice here. The size of the curry is shareable maybe between one other person. The spice level is not authentic THAI spicy. I like spicy and can handle spice but this tasted mild to me. For someone who can't take spice I can't really judge the spice level for you. The spice gives it more flavor though. It has fried fish, shrimp, veggies, and scallops in it. The curry sauce was creamy and milky. You could definitely taste the coconut milk. My favorite part of the curry was the scallops it was different. The fish part I could do without I don't think it really blended in well with the curry, maybe because it was fried. I think if it wasn't fried fish it would taste better. The atmosphere is a casual spot- I really liked the lightening it had cute little fish decor. The service was good. I feel like they were attentive.
I found myself in Pearland for an errand so figured I'd give a local spot a try. I almost went to another spot that some fellow Yelpers had been raving about but the craving for Thai food was just too great. This spot is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking out front. The decor inside is welcoming, lots of booths and tables. The pool of fish along the ceiling is a nice touch while the music is relaxing and tranquil. Food - 4* Kicking it off was the tom yum soup - flavorful with lots of chicken and mushroom though I don't note any significant lemongrass present? It was great nonetheless, perfect for a chillier night. The egg rolls were interesting and there's an ingredient I couldn't place that just made them have an odd after taste. That said, they weren't bad by any means, just not what I expected. Moving to the entrees, Pad Thai and Panang curry. Both were great, good spice level, and flavorful. Of the two, I'd probably go curry, but I love just about any curry. The portion sizes were excellent. I didn't order anything to drink other than water so I can't comment but they look appealing. Service - 5* The moment I walked in I was invited to sit wherever. Quick to take the order, quick running it, and very well paced. Entrees came out before apps had been finished, super quick! And the always telling sign of excellent service for myself, never short on water! Cost - 4.5* I'd say for quality, portion, presentation - it's great value. If anything, they could possibly lower the cost a tad while reducing the portion size slightly. That said, I honestly don't mind it for some leftovers! Overall - 4.5* If you're in the neighborhood, this is a solid option for Thai. Friendly people, great food, fair prices, and a nice low key environment to enjoy a meal with family, friends, or even alone!
This place is a gem in Pearland for anyone that's craving Thai food! This place is kind of tucked away but that seems to be part of the appeal. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by our server. Everyone we encountered was so kind. The menu is pretty standard for that food. We started off with the egg rolls, they were fabulous. They were piping hot and crispy. A great start to our meal. We saw in the reviews the drunken noodles were a yelper favorite so we got that and the green curry. The noodles were flavorful and chewy. The curry was bomb though! It had a nice kick and the chicken and veggies melded great with the coconut curry flavor. For anyone looking for a good local spot, you have to check it out!
10/10. Dude I have been to this Thai place 3x in one week! I usually go to the Thai stellar in Webster/NASA area. I just found out this opened up. Thank god because there was a Thai place that was here previously and suddenly closed. It was really good. So Im glad a Thai spot opened in its absence. Let's see. We ordered the crispy red snapper with Thai chili sauce (T-1) at market price which was ~$35. They gave us the price upfront. Wow this fish was so good. I loved the cabbage and the bell peppers that it came with. There was so much meat on the fish as well. Like if you were thought chili on fish sounded interesting, you'll like this dish. It hits you will all the umami Thai flavors. The second time, we ordered this tea and hot Thai tea. Both were great. We also ordered the tom yum soup with chicken and pad Thai with chicken, peppered steak (spicy). We filled up on soup so I barely even touched the pad Thai. But when I ate it later it was still so delicious. My husband finished his peppered steak. It was a little bit spicy and so good! Portions were sooooo generous! I love the decor/ art work and the interior of this location. Staff were really nice and efficient as well The third time I came here, I ordered the chicken pad thai, and panang curry. I got too confident and ordered level 2 spicy. It was still pretty mild for the pad Thai but it was too spicy for me in the curry. Also! I didn't realize the peanuts were underneath the aluminum foil. I love the pad Thai here. They also have a great lunch specials here and close from 3pm-5pm daily just fyi.
Everything was delicious and the staff was great too! Going in during lunch time on a Saturday, the restaurant was about half full so we were seated right away. Pad thai: ordered two of these. One was without and spice for the kids and one with 3 spice. Great dish and it wasn't too sweet. I have noticed a lot of pad thai dishes are overly sweet now and I was pleasantly surprised this dish was not. Great balance of flavor, chicken wasn't dry, noodles were al dente. Green curry: my favorite dish. The curry was creamy, shrimp was plump and fresh, and veggies still had a nice crunch. Tom yum: ordered this one as Thai spicy. It definitely had a kick but was still enjoyable. Spicy, sour, and comforting. Fantastic over some white rice. Fried rice: pretty standard. Good amount of meat and veggies. I would come back for sure.
This year old restaurant I never knew existed popped up on Yelp while looking for Thai in the surrounding areas. Called and asked about vegan options before hand and they seemed to have enough choices so we headed here. I must mention here that the call was picked up in less than a minute ... When we got here we were the only customers and I think that's because this is a little off the main road. In fact, until we saw the restaurant, I myself was wondering if we were in the right place. For vegan starters there was only crispy tofu. We skipped to entrees. Apple was our server for the afternoon and she was all smiling and ready to help. The options on the menu do not say so, but she assured us that except Pad Thai all entrees could be made vegan. That was nice because most Thai places do not carry vegan red and green curry. Or even drunken noodles for that matter, without the egg in it. So, that's what we ordered: Vegan green curry with vegetables- excellent . Can add tofu for additional charge. Drunken noodles- got tofu added to this - very nice Thai coffee- good Tofu or fried egg can be added at additional cost. Tofu costs $2.50, and the egg was $2.50, although to me, it looked she was dictating prices just off the shelf... The quantity was decent, not Texas size but enough to qualify as a full meal for me, but I would suggest a starter for most others. The water somehow tasted weird and that was the only thing that did not work for me. Am glad I found dishes in vegan which I don't find elsewhere so I would visit again. If I have not mentioned before, service was super fast.
Food was very good and service was excellent. Was just a wee bit pricy, but just a little. Will go back and try some other dishes to see if they hold up. Hole in the wall that's doing well.
Went to lunch with some coworkers due to someone's suggestion because they had really liked this place before. It definitely met expectations! Small, dimly lit, but very nicely decorated, with ample parking. Had the beef pad see ew lunch special. It came with a spicy sour soup and chips with a sweet chili sauce on it, that was absolutely delicious. I finished it all before the main dish came out. The pad see ew at spice level 2 was delicious. It was spicier than expected for 2/5 spice but not excessively so. It had lots of meat, broccoli, and carrots and the portion size lasted me an additional meal. This feels like a mom and pop kind of shop. Will definitely have to come back!
Another weekend Gem! i couldn't find anything i wanted to eat so tried to find a new place to try. i'm so glad i did. This place is quiet, calm by and authentic. service was great. i had the best tom yum soup i have ever had. The pad see ew was delicious. The serving size was huge and it tasted even better for lunch the next day! i will definitely come back here. oh, you can also order to go too!
Thai stellar has become a staple in my diet since I moved to the pearland area. Firstly it has a great parking lot in front, it has the most friendly and accommodating staff, and the best Thai food! As a vegetarian, they still had so many options but I always go for the noodles! The very first time I tried Thai Stellar, I tried drunken noddles and their cellophane noodles and their noddles were so good! The best I've had in years! So packed with flavor! As a vegetarian I always ask them to omit the fish sauce, egg, and oyster sauce and they always do! Highly highly recommend for anyone craving Thai!! You have to try their clear cellophane noodles.

I ordered the pad Thai, Thai tea and an appetizer!! 10/10. The service was AMAZING. I found this place last minute and stopped in for a quick bite to eat, it was way better than I expected. If you're looking for a good, calm place to eat you should definitely go here! read more

Great Thai restaurant with authentic flavors. Tried the coconut curry, peanut curry, green curry, pad Thai, pad see ew and Tom yum. My favorite was the coconut curry as it had a fried tilapia and shrimp with a red curry base. Everything we had was great and I would order again with exception to the green curry. read more

I was incredibly impressed by Thai Stellar in Pearland. The restaurant itself is well designed and decorated giving off an atmosphere of class but also a welcoming environment with relaxed vibes. The service is excellent. The servers were very attentive and checked on the table several times. I ordered a Thai Iced Tea to drink, which was very refreshing. The Pau Pia Taud (Eggrolls) were really delicious. Crispy and packed with flavor. The dipping sauce is a little sweet to me, so I mostly skipped it but I feel that way about many sweeter dipping sauces. I ordered the fried Tilapia and it was very satisfying. The fish itself was fried to perfection and the red curry sauce enhanced and enriched the dish so much with the basil, carrots, peppers and herbs blending flawlessly together. I devoured every inch of this fish and left only bones on the plate. Last I had the Thai Tapioca. This was amazing. It tastes so good. It was just the right amount of sweet. It was warm and creamy and the tapioca was soft and not too chewy. I just kept shoveling it into my mouth until it was gone. I'm already looking forward to my return trip. read more

This place is delicious! The service was quick and the food came out hot and fresh. We had the egg rolls and drunken noodles, green curry, and pad se ew. Don't lump this place with its predecessor, Thai Jasmine, because this place is much better and has an A rating from the health department. We'll be back! read more
Delicious!! I hadn't found a good Thai spot in Pearland, yet but this will be my go to! The dish was spicy, full of flavor and loaded with chicken. I can't wait to try other items. The price of the thai tea was a little steep ($6.50), but the service and environment made up for it. read more
Located where Thai Jasmine previously was. Happy to see Thai Stellar open a Pearland location. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the whole meal. We never had an empty drink. As far as food, everything was fresh and delicious. The drunken noodles were cooked and seasoned well. You can choose a spice level between 1-5 with level 3 spice being just right. It was a little kick without being overwhelmingly spicy. Of the Thai restaurants in the area, Thai Stellar is high on my list. read more
still 10 out of 5 stars, but i wanted to add that this is the only place where they offer to fix my dish (not enough garlic). I do not recall any other restaurant doing this even though I would say something to the server. I LOVE this place. Ate at Thai Stellar last night for the first time. Every thing we ordered was delicious (Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and Cellophane Noodle). The food came out quickly and piping hot. The wait staff was gracious and polite. While the location doesn't have much curb appeal, the interior is well decorated. I'm looking forward to returning to this restaurant read more

This use to be another Thai restaurant. I believe this is a completely remodel restaurant with new owners. Stop by for lunch and had the lunch special. Almost any dish you order comes with Tom yum soup and wonton chips. We had the Tofu Pad Thai and Pad See Ew Beef. Both were delicious and portioned perfectly. Very tasty and cook just right. The workers are so nice and sweet. They check on us multiple times. We would totally come back again. read more

Oh My God. The best thai food in Houston, hands down. I got the Green Curry with Chicken and my wife got the Red Curry with Chicken for take-out, and it was nothing short of delicious. Well portioned curries, with generous servings of ingredients, and the taste was incredible. read more

There were three other customers when I came to the restaurant. I had the ginger curry with chicken and the drunken noodles with beef. I came in at dinner so I got large portions. The ginger curry is surprisingly milder than your normal red curry- I was worried about the ginger overpowering but as very happy with my order. I like that you can adjust how spicy you want your food to be. I had their Thai tea and an order of sticky rice for dessert. I will definitely come back to try the other curries in the future. read more

My son took me out for lunch at This Stellar. The food was amazing. The waitress was awesome she was very attentive to us and our needs . She served us with a sweet smile. Checked on us filled our drinks often. Over all great service. The cook even came to check on us an hour out food was. I highly recommend this restaurant. Front access is Perfect someone with disability like me even has a wheel chair ramp in front. Thank you for a great experience. read more

I have been coming to Thai Stellar for a while now, and I have to say their service and quality of food is seriously top notch. When you walk in you are greeted by an inviting open layout, and are allowed to choose where you sit (both booths and standard tables available). It's a quiet, laid-back setting with low volume music playing in the background. Today I ordered their Pad Thai and Mango sticky rice, and I must say this is one of the better Pad Thai's I've had. The flavor is really well balanced and the portion size is enough to get two meals out of it. Alongside that, I was curious about their foreign beers; our waitress happily suggested a Singha beer local to Thailand which was a nice addition to my meal. Now the mango sticky rice is a treasure beyond your wildest dreams. The beautifully ripe mango with two mounds of green sticky rice makes for a textural masterpiece. To top it off, a mixture of warm coconut milk and simple syrup balanced with the slightest hint of salt makes for one of the best desserts I've ever had. Wow! The best Thai restaurant in Pearland! There are several Thai restaurants in the area but none can compared to Thai Stellar! Food was so delicious! Every single dish we ordered was full of flavor!!! We absolutely love Pad See Eww and their green curry! Lots of veggies in their dishes and we love that! They are the best I've eaten. My family also fought over their delicious mango with sticky rice! Rarely we came back to eat at a restaurant back to back 2 days in a roll and we did with Thai Stellar! They have a good lunch menu as well! Give them a try if you are craving for Thai food! They are new to Pearland so please support them! read more

Legit 5 star! Only been open for a month. You can smell the food as you walk in hitting your nose. Food was Amazing , Service was Exceptional and the Ambiance is nice, fresh and clean. We ordered Egg rolls for Appetizers and they were tasty and fresh! Seafood pho which had a bit of everything from the sea in it. I really believe the spice of level 4 cleared my sinus lol opened me up! So so good! Also we ordered the Drunken Noodles and this is what solidified the 5 star! So much flavor! So glad me and wifey found this place. read more

So happy they're in Pearland now! I've been going to their NASA location for about 8 years now and their league city/Santa Fe for about a year and I love them all the same! My pad SeeEw was as great as it usually is and the yellow curry was great! We ordered two Thai teas and they were perfectly sweetened, it didn't taste the usual with flavor level but I still enjoyed it. The decor is very intimate and beautiful. We had one server and she was the only person we saw the entire time, she was so sweet and attentive. The previous Thai place there was my go to Thai but they went downhill with a not so great health rating and never recovered. I have all the faith in Thai stellar to stay tasting amazing with quality standards. read more
