Salata - one of my fav.... The crispy vegetables, the variety of interesting sauces spiced to the right level, the number of add ons - its perfect for a vegetable lover like me. I added almost all the choice of vegetarian toppings available, some light mozzarella cheese and sauce on the side. I chose their avocado jalapeños , for protein its either tofu or falafel or both, I took both as I was more hungry than usual. Somehow they managed to fit it all into the large box ... lol..... They have soups too. For some reason they couldn't understand my question if the broth used in the soup was vegetarian or not, so I thought it was best to skip it. This might be my favorite Salata so far. The dining area is nice. Salad was good as always. Line was long but they bust the line down so quickly and efficiently. Definitely will revisit this one. Lunch/dinner time before class so I wanted to choose a lighter side that would hold me over but not weigh me down. I choose the southwest wrap with little lettuce and more veggies and cranberries. Highly disappointed with my pickup order I placed earlier this morning. I haven't been to Salata in a few months, so I decided to place a pickup order to have a quick bite to eat before I head into work, as well as, bring my mom a bite to eat for lunch as well. Unfortunately, once I arrived home and opened my container I saw a LOAD of mushrooms on my salad. I would have drove back up to location, but due to me having to get ready for work I did not have time. Because I do not eat mushrooms, I had to sit and pick through my salad and remove them. This upset me because can you imagine if I was allergic to mushrooms. What baffles me, is the note for sundried tomatoes is highlighted, but there are ZERO on my salad, as well as, my mom's barely having any at all. Same for the eggs, I had about half a scoop on my salad. After picking through, I was left with mostly lettuce and barely any toppings (The mushrooms made up most of the portioning). I'm disappointed because I used to be a frequent Salata customer, but if my order is going to be incorrect and I barely receive the toppings that I paid for, I'd rather take my business elsewhere. read more

Good salad options when you just want a big-ole salad. I love the ranch dressing. My hubby brought me one yesterday. I usually do all veggie with chopped egg for protein. Hadn't been here in a while, but had a taste for something light and fresh. It was a Friday around noon and the workers were an older crowd. Everything moved like clockwork. The best part was, the older Hispanic Lady that was preparing the wraps. To say the wrap was wrapping is an understatement. I only ate half and was able to put my second half in the toaster oven with no spillage the next day. As long as I see her when I walk in, I know "it's gonna be a good day." I love Salata and I prefer this location because the staff is always very friendly. I stopped by the other day to pick up lunch. I tend to order the same thing, but I noticed a ginger lime salad dressing that sounded good. I asked the young lady who was making my salad about it and she offered me a sample. I've been going to Salata for years, and had no idea that you can sample the dressing! I almost always choose the herb vinaigrette so I've never even thought to ask to try the others. Before the employee handed me the spoon and cup, she asked if I had an allergy to peanuts (I don't). So peanut allergy folks, avoid that dressing! That was very kind of her to ask before she served it. The dressing was good and you could really taste the ginger, but I opted for my usual herb vinaigrette because I like what I like lol. Sidenote: The Salata app has a food allergy filter that you can use to filter out any problematic foods. When I got to the register, a different employee asked if I was a rewards member (I am). I feel like they never ask me if I'm a rewards member at the other location on Pearland Parkway. When I said I was, the employee asked for my phone number (I thought I would have to scan my code on the app). To my surprise, I had enough points for up to $12 off my order! Turns out I had a birthday reward and didn't realize it. I walked out of there paying $3 for my salad and it was delicious as usual! read more

Kinda turned me off from Salata ever again to be honest considering i never received my salad in the almost 2 hours i was waiting. First of all I come to this location ask for a small bowl I'm told we only have regular. I guess because no bowls are clean. Then I get less than protein than I am suppose to get. Service was poor. The manager I'm sure emptied half the salad in the to go container and threw the rest under the counter in the bowl. Not to mention she threw my food on the counter. Unacceptable! Some Salata locations are brilliant, whereas others are just a "Shell-ata" of the better ones. This is one of the locations I'm not crazy about. Pretty iffy Salata right across from the Pearland Town Center. It's actually pretty tasty and fresh at most Salatas, but this one made me a smaller salad than I usually get at these chains, and some of the "stuff" on their salad didn't taste so great. The croissant they serve instead of the Roll is incredible, though. Salata is by far the healthiest meal that you can eat when you are in Houston and some of the locations are much better than the others. The other Pearland one (a few miles East and far off the highway) is definitely preferable, as are my fave locations at Citycentre, on Gray, and at Wesleyan Village. read more

Maybe this was an off day but everybody in this place had a stank attitude! They acted like they didn't want to be there and surely didn't want any customers to come in. My husband and I just ordered salads. He got the seafood mix and I got shrimp. We got home and started eating. The shrimp was so strong and fishy. It was obvious that it was bad shrimp. I'm not sure if they left the shrimp out during the winter storm or what. My husband went back and asked for a refund and a replacement salad. The manager stated she would give us a refund and she would call her manager or store owner to see if we could get new salads without having to pay. She left and went to the back. Before I get into the review, don't get me wrong I love salata salads and soups. They're very tasty. My only complaint is that every time I go on there I'm spending a minimum of $10 for a SMALL salad, and I have to border line beg for extra toppings. I know I get a lot of toppings on my salad but I want to be able to taste it with every bite. The last salad I had, the lady put 3 tomatoes on it. 3!!! I shouldn't have to ask for double toppings every single time. It's ridiculous! I'm not sure if its a policy or not but it needs to change. I love salata but this location is trash. No covid precautions!!!! They have covid precautions on paper but they aren't applying as they handle your food. This guys used the same glove to adjust his mask(which he wore below his nose), to pick up paper off the floor, to grab my lettuce. He then sled my plate across the extremely dirty container top and had all types of food residue on it. Just nasty. At this point I couldn't stomach it anymore. This location in Pearland did seem to have less choices of ingredients than the Salatas I've gone to in Houston. One thing I did notice ( one weird thing I do like about Salata) their plastic utensils!! They definitely are scrimping on the quality of forks. Cheap and flimsy. Not Salata quality.
