I went to this place during lunch. They give you chips with the sweet and sour sauce on it and some tom yum like soup with it as an appeitizer. I thought that was unique and tasted good. Sweet, crunchy, and hearty. I ordered the Thai stellar curry level 4 spicy. There are 5 levels of spice here. The size of the curry is shareable maybe between one other person. The spice level is not authentic THAI spicy. I like spicy and can handle spice but this tasted mild to me. For someone who can't take spice I can't really judge the spice level for you. The spice gives it more flavor though. It has fried fish, shrimp, veggies, and scallops in it. The curry sauce was creamy and milky. You could definitely taste the coconut milk. My favorite part of the curry was the scallops it was different. The fish part I could do without I don't think it really blended in well with the curry, maybe because it was fried. I think if it wasn't fried fish it would taste better. The atmosphere is a casual spot- I really liked the lightening it had cute little fish decor. The service was good. I found myself in Pearland for an errand so figured I'd give a local spot a try. I almost went to another spot that some fellow Yelpers had been raving about but the craving for Thai food was just too great. This spot is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking out front. The decor inside is welcoming, lots of booths and tables. The pool of fish along the ceiling is a nice touch while the music is relaxing and tranquil. Food - 4* Kicking it off was the tom yum soup - flavorful with lots of chicken and mushroom though I don't note any significant lemongrass present? It was great nonetheless, perfect for a chillier night. The egg rolls were interesting and there's an ingredient I couldn't place that just made them have an odd after taste. That said, they weren't bad by any means, just not what I expected. Moving to the entrees, Pad Thai and Panang curry. Both were great, good spice level, and flavorful. Of the two, I'd probably go curry, but I love just about any curry. The portion sizes were excellent. I didn't order anything to drink other than water so I can't comment but they look appealing. Service - 5* The moment I walked in I was invited to sit wherever. Quick to take the order, quick running it, and very well paced. Entrees came out before apps had been finished, super quick! And the always telling sign of excellent service for myself, never short on water! Cost - 4.5* I'd say for quality, portion, presentation - it's great value. If anything, they could possibly lower the cost a tad while reducing the portion size slightly. That said, I honestly don't mind it for some leftovers! Stellar was just ok, If im honest. I ordered take out at the counter after trying to call multiple times with no answer. Woman who took my order was nice. There were a few tables when I walked in on a Wednesday evening. I tried the vegetable drunken noodles and was happy to hear the fresh bc veggies included. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by our server. Everyone we encountered was so kind. The menu is pretty standard for that food. We started off with the egg rolls, they were fabulous. They were piping hot and crispy. A great start to our meal. We saw in the reviews the drunken noodles were a yelper favorite so we got that and the green curry. The noodles were flavorful and chewy. 10/10. Dude I have been to this Thai place 3x in one week! I usually go to the Thai stellar in Webster/NASA area. I just found out this opened up. Thank god because there was a Thai place that was here previously and suddenly closed. It was really good. So Im glad a Thai spot opened in its absence. Let's see. We ordered the crispy red snapper with Thai chili sauce (T-1) at market price which was ~$35. They gave us the price upfront. Wow this fish was so good. I loved the cabbage and the bell peppers that it came with. There was so much meat on the fish as well. Like if you were thought chili on fish sounded interesting, you'll like this dish. It hits you will all the umami Thai flavors. The second time, we ordered this tea and hot Thai tea. Both were great. We also ordered the tom yum soup with chicken and pad Thai with chicken, peppered steak (spicy). We filled up on soup so I barely even touched the pad Thai. But when I ate it later it was still so delicious. My husband finished his peppered steak. It was a little bit spicy and so good! Portions were sooooo generous! I love the decor/ art work and the interior of this location. Staff were really nice and efficient as well The third time I came here, I ordered the chicken pad thai, and panang curry. I got too confident and ordered level 2 spicy. It was still pretty mild for the pad Thai but it was too spicy for me in the curry. Also! One was without and spice for the kids and one with 3 spice. Great dish and it wasn't too sweet. I have noticed a lot of pad thai dishes are overly sweet now and I was pleasantly surprised this dish was not. Great balance of flavor, chicken wasn't dry, noodles were al dente. Green curry: my favorite dish. The curry was creamy, shrimp was plump and fresh, and veggies still had a nice crunch. Tom yum: ordered this one as Thai spicy. This year old restaurant I never knew existed popped up on Yelp while looking for Thai in the surrounding areas. Called and asked about vegan options before hand and they seemed to have enough choices so we headed here. I must mention here that the call was picked up in less than a minute ... When we got here we were the only customers and I think that's because this is a little off the main road. In fact, until we saw the restaurant, I myself was wondering if we were in the right place. For vegan starters there was only crispy tofu. We skipped to entrees. Apple was our server for the afternoon and she was all smiling and ready to help. The options on the menu do not say so, but she assured us that except Pad Thai all entrees could be made vegan. That was nice because most Thai places do not carry vegan red and green curry. Or even drunken noodles for that matter, without the egg in it. So, that's what we ordered: Vegan green curry with vegetables- excellent . Can add tofu for additional charge. Drunken noodles- got tofu added to this - very nice Thai coffee- good Tofu or fried egg can be added at additional cost. Tofu costs $2.50, and the egg was $2.50, although to me, it looked she was dictating prices just off the shelf... The quantity was decent, not Texas size but enough to qualify as a full meal for me, but I would suggest a starter for most others. The water somehow tasted weird and that was the only thing that did not work for me. Am glad I found dishes in vegan which I don't find elsewhere so I would visit again. It was spicier than expected for 2/5 spice but not excessively so. It had lots of meat, broccoli, and carrots and the portion size lasted me an additional meal. Thai stellar has become a staple in my diet since I moved to the pearland area. Firstly it has a great parking lot in front, it has the most friendly and accommodating staff, and the best Thai food! As a vegetarian, they still had so many options but I always go for the noodles! The very first time I tried Thai Stellar, I tried drunken noddles and their cellophane noodles and their noddles were so good! The best I've had in years! So packed with flavor! The curries were full of flavor, and I loved that they added pandan flavor to the sticky rice (very light vanilla taste). The staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. It was clear they knew their food and took pride in it. The portion sizes were great. The restaurant was very clean. Panang curry with tofu was also savory BUT there was not a lot of broth; less than your typical curry dishes at other Thai restaurants. Pad see-EW with beef was pretty good BUT there was a small strand of hair in the food :( I hope the food preparation and hygiene improve at Thai Stellar. Also, the rice was a bit mushy. One of the things I missed the most when I moved out of Clear lake was Thai Steller. I am so glad when we found out there is finally one here in Pearland! This is a weird location since it is facing a neighborhood and not any main roads. So, I hope that doesn't cause a lot of down time for them. We came in on a Friday evening for dinner and they were pretty busy. They sat us right away and had our orders taken in no time. My daughter loved the plain steamed noodles so much. Its just basic noodles with no frills or anything. Which is perfect for her because she is SO picky about her food. I missed their drunken noodles so much; I forgot how much I loved them. I got pork with them and it was all so flavorful and spicy! The green curry with chicken is also a must try. It really is the best in Pearland right now. Another must try is the Tom kha kai soup. It is silky and robust and puts other Thai restaurants to shame. Seriously the best in Houston. My only complaint is the water, but that's a city-wide complaint. Pearland water is not the best. I really hope this Thai Steller location lasts because it is my current favorite place to eat. read more

I'm a huge fan of the original Thai Stellar in Webster. I would even say it's one of my favorite Thai spots in the city. When I heard they were opening up a second location in Pearland, I was ecstatic. This particular location replaced another pretty good Thai spot in a little shopping strip close to 288. Parking has never been an issue in that lot and still isn't now. The restaurant is pretty small and can only hold maybe 2 or 3 larger parties in addition to about 6 or 7 small booths. What I did not know ahead of time is that they do reservations. I came with a large group of family on Mother's Day and they were able to put three tables together. I got lucky because the remaining tables had reservations. The staff here was fantastic from start to finish. They were knowledgeable of their menu and have great suggestions. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines and I like everything from the curries to the noodles. Between the 12 of us at my table, we ordered almost all my usual go to dishes. We did not order any appetizers but my niece did order the Chicken Satay as her entrée. She is a picky eater, but tore up this dish. I went with the Drunken Noodles with combination meat (chicken and beef). I got the dinner portion but underestimated the size of the dish. I thought the price of the food was very reasonable considering the amount of food served. They also have lunch portions for the lighter eaters. I could've easily had 2-3 meals out of the one serving. I got the spice level at a 4 out of 5. To me it was sweat inducing, but not overwhelming. Perfection really! The noodles, meat and veggies were all cooked to perfection as well. The flavors were on point too. I would get this dish over and over again. I tried the Mussamun Curry, Red Curry, Chicken Fried Rice, and Pad Thai as well. Every single one of those dishes were amazing as well. We definitely did not have room for dessert after all that deliciousness. I didn't get my usual go to Thai Tea or Mango Sticky Rice this go round, but that just means I need to come back sooner rather than later. I was incredibly impressed by Thai Stellar in Pearland. The restaurant itself is well designed and decorated giving off an atmosphere of class but also a welcoming environment with relaxed vibes. The service is excellent. The servers were very attentive and checked on the table several times. I ordered a Thai Iced Tea to drink, which was very refreshing. The Pau Pia Taud (Eggrolls) were really delicious. Crispy and packed with flavor. The dipping sauce is a little sweet to me, so I mostly skipped it but I feel that way about many sweeter dipping sauces. I ordered the fried Tilapia and it was very satisfying. The fish itself was fried to perfection and the red curry sauce enhanced and enriched the dish so much with the basil, carrots, peppers and herbs blending flawlessly together. I devoured every inch of this fish and left only bones on the plate. Last I had the Thai Tapioca. This was amazing. It tastes so good. It was just the right amount of sweet. It was warm and creamy and the tapioca was soft and not too chewy. I just kept shoveling it into my mouth until it was gone. I'm already looking forward to my return trip. read more
