Delicious food and great service. I got the pad thai with chicken and the thai spice chicken and they were both delicious. I will be coming back again!

Ehhhhh. We ordered take out from Thai Spice as there are very few Thai options locally and were pretty disappointed. The pad Thai was extremely oily and red in color? I don't know how to describe the taste but it wasn't what I think of pad Thai! The Kuay Tiew Kee Mao was a lot better of a noodle dish and quite spicy. The fried rice Puk was bland. Appreciated that we could order any option vegetarian (with veg or tofu). Quite large portion sizes as well. Overall we'd probably not order again.

I was really excited to try this spot. I decided this would be the day I try the green curry, after putting it off for so long. I've heard great things about Thai green curry and decided I would take the leap and give it a try. I was very excited. I ordered summer rolls as an appetizer. They were pretty standard. The flavor profile was the norm. The dipping sauce was just delicious. The shrimp was sliced super thing though. I definitely wish there were bigger pieces of shrimp. I've had other summer rolls with more shrimp in them and definitely enjoyed that. Now for the green curry. I selected medium heat but definitely could have taken it up a few notches and gotten it spicy. I love spicy food but didn't know just what to expect. I have to admit that I was disappointed in the green curry. I expected something very different. It was super watery. I expected something a bit more thick or creamy. The flavors also didn't taste very intense at all. Everything just tasted watered down. This was my first time trying it so I'm not sure if this is normal? I definitely wasn't impressed. I may return to try another dish but I definitely won't be getting the curry again. I love pad Thai so maybe I'll order that next time.

Was able to celebrate a dear friend's baby shower/gender reveal in this cozy restaurant. Ordered the fried tofu, chicken green curry (item K2 on the menu) and chicken pad thai. The sauce accompanying the fried tofu was flavorful. Green curry was spicier than I expected, but was tasty! The pad thai was a little dry and had a weird aftertaste. For dessert, ordered the thai iced tea! I recommend it. Not too sweet! FYI, the weekend brunch menu's portions are larger than you think. Minimal parking in the back of the restaurant and 2 hour parking right outside.

I highly recommend this place when you are in the area especially if you are going to the walkway over the Hudson. Which is how we encountered this place. They are amazing with services. Our waiter was super nice and of course willing to explain everything we asked. We ordered the pad Thai vegetable spring rolls and the red curry mussels. Pad Thai was HUGE I'm telling you two appetizers and one entree filled both me and my boyfriend. We shared everything and left extremely satisfied! The red curry mussels are a must! I totally didn't read the description and they had bell peppers on top which I don't like but the sauce they had was so good ! If I ever come back I will definitely try anything red curry (spicy coconut curry).

We ordered thru Grubhub and our order came quick but it was wrong! We ordered Basil Fried Rice and there was no fried rice not sure what we got. When i called the restaurant they accused the driver of tampering with the food (which honestly is ridiculous) and then told me to call Grub Hub. The food was cold and not edible. The curry that was in the order literally had a whole onion in it! The Pad Thai was stuck together like glue and so dry. Would not order here or go again.

The serving of pad thai I received here could well serve about 3 people. The food came out beautifully plated with nice decorations to make it look good. You can also control the spice levels on most of the foods on the menu so it was nice to have that option!! The food was delicious but not too pricey, and the ambiance of the restaurant interior was nice too. The service was on the slower side even though it wasn't crowded, but it did seem like a lot of students were picking up take out as well. Perfect quick and fulfilling food for college students nearby!!

I recently ordered takeout from this spot & it satisfied my cravings for Thai food! We ordered Pad Thai with Shrimp, Kuay Tiew Kee Mao with Chicken, the Curry Puffs and a Thai Iced Tea. We spent close to $40, but the portion sizes are large and we ended up having half of each noodle dish. Both noodle dishes were flavorful and the containers were filled to the top! I recommend either of the noodle dishes. I ordered the Kuay Tiew Kee Mao with medium spice & it was the right spice amount for me! If you can't handle spice, I would recommend getting the mild to make sure you fully enjoy your meal. The Curry Puffs were just okay. The inside is filled with chicken but it was a little bland. The Thai Iced Tea is a must get!! I'll definitely be back to try some of their other things!

I particularly enjoyed the Vassar noodle bowl, which featured chewy noodles in a coconut milk curry sauce (allegedly Malaysian, more Malaysian "inspired") with BBQ pulled pork on top!! I would never have thought to combine these two ingredients, but they work beautifully together. It's a very warm and comforting dish, and the mint, cilantro, and radish garnish helps provide a bit of contrast. I liked the sour cream drizzle on top, too. I feel like this dish could really be fantastic if they adjusted the thickness and amount of curry sauce (the noodles are swimming in it like a soup) and provided more herbs and radishes on top. It could also benefit from a crispy topping to provide textural contrast. I've had other things from here that I've liked, but that weren't anything special. Like the Malaysian curry, their chicken tikka masala sauce also has a very runny texture, instead of the thicker richer sauces I've had elsewhere. And their bao buns are honestly not worth buying, since they have no hoisin sauce or creamy aioli/slaw element that binds together the rather dry meat, pickle slices, and scallions in each bun. They seem to exclusively be a grab and go kind of place, which makes sense to me as it's in a college town. Inside it's small and rather bleak, without any kind of decoration and not much seating. They take a pretty long time to prepare orders too, so plan ahead in case you're in a hurry.

Worth it? Mostly, yes! Food: 4/5 We tried a little bit of everything, the Seared chicken breast - Hands down my favorite dish of the night. Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and flavorful. Followed by the Bacon, egg, and homemade biscuit - A close second! The biscuit was dense and satisfying, and it had a really unique pesto-like sauce on top that made it memorable. Some other shout outs: 1) Orecchiette veggie pasta - Orecchiette is hard to find on menus, so I was delighted to see it here. It was a nice light option among our heavier dishes. 2) Jerk ribs - OK, so this is where my expectations and reality didn't fully align. They were well-cooked, but I'm a saucy girl, and these weren't as slathered or juicy as I'd hoped. That said, the rest of my table really enjoyed them. Also, that hibiscus lemonade? Chef's kiss. Refreshing and flavorful, and exactly the kind of detail that makes a place stand out to me. Service: 4/5 Now, here's where I was really surprised: one person was running the whole show. The head chef was managing the kitchen and the front of house--no servers, no extra help. Just him. For the amount of work that entails, he crushed it. Was it a bit slower than a staffed restaurant? Of course. But honestly, it gave the whole experience a humble, homegrown vibe that I appreciated. Also, it meant a lot to support a Black-owned restaurant and actually connect with the person behind the food. Final Thoughts: While we came for dinner, I could tell from the menu (and the vibe) that this place is really known for brunch. I'm genuinely curious to come back during brunch hours to see how the energy--and menu--might shift. Either way, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a spot with heart, flavor, and soul.

For dinner we started with the Korean Wings ($14) from their extensive specials list, as well as the Shanghai and Singapore Noodles ($16 ea.) The wings were fried perfectly and the sauce was a well-balanced blend of sweetness and spice. For our noodle dishes, we were surprised to find that with the special you get a combo of chicken, shrimp and pork, as opposed to the choice of only one when you order from the regular dinner menu. Price point also varies depending on your protein. The Shanghai noodles were saucy, with a good amount of veggies with noodles similar to that of chow mein.
