Excellent. While visiting SLC I had a coworker recommend this restaurant for Thai. There isn't a menu listed so I ordered yellow curry with chicken based on reviews, and like those reviews I ordered it spicy. Very nice balance. Will definitely try again next time in town but hopefully they'll have other things from their menu listed. read more

Thai Spice is by far the best Thai place around. I've been to several and this is the only one that I visit on a regular basis. The Massaman #19 is my favorite and I get it every chance I get. The Thai ice tea is awesome but my favorite drink is the Lychee juice - which you have to try because it goes really well with the spices in the food. Lunch special is awesome and I've never really waited for a table. Love this place!!! read more

Perhaps the most underrated Thai food in Salt Lake. I have yet to be disappointed, and hands down the most flavorful well-priced Thai dining we've had. While living in New York City we tried endless restaurants, including the critically acclaimed Spice Market - all of which did not hold a candle to this little mom and pop place. It's out of the way. It's in a hole-in-the-wall strip mall. BUT IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT! Forget Thai Siam, Sawadee and Channon - Thai Spice is the only place we'll eat. read more

This place is not terrible but not great. I only went there once with some friends and everybody was sadly disappointed. We ordered 4 different dishes and then all tried each others. I would say the Massaman curry was probably the best thing ordered although I've eaten at many Thai restaurants in Utah and they were equally as good if not better. I thought the rest of the food was somewhat bland and flavorful food is usually my favorite thing about Thai restaurants. I thought the people were nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. read more

Thai spice food is great especially the chicken pad Thai, I've tried other Thai restaurants but there pad Thai isn't that good compare to Thai spice. Yellow curry is very amazing with white rice . I was visiting the Salt Lake area on vacation and had a craving for Thai food. We found this little place on Yelp. The restaurant was small, clean and very charming. Initially we thought the service was very slow. The place was pretty busy but only one waiter who was working every table. It was lunch time and right before Christmas day so perhaps it was a holiday rush. We really enjoyed the food. I especially loved the Tom Yom soup! Lots of chicken and very flavorful. We were also so happy when the bill came and quite surprised! There were two of us, we ordered an appetizer and two lunch specials and our bill was just over $25.00. The most amount of (very good) food at the lowest price than any meal we had during our Salt Lake visit! I would definitely go back again! read more

WENT TO THIS RESTAURANT ON VACATION AFTER READING A yelp REVIEW. Having eaten at many Thai restaurants throughout the world, this is one of the most interesting and has seemingly very authentic Thai sauces which are the essence of Thai food. Cannot lose and a very fair price (downright cheap by Calif standards,), Great deal and the owner and son are very pleasant. Speak with them about their backgrounds. Very good food at a very fair price. Only portions could be larger so we could take some home for left-overs. read more

This has been my absolute favorite Thai restaurant for years. The food is fantastic. At least as good as any other Thai place in Salt Lake and I've tried 15 other places. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the quality of the interior has gone down in recent years. They used to have beautiful Thai silk over their tables with glass on top...but for some reason that's all gone now. Last time I was there, they were just plain, cheap brown tables. It used to be beautiful inside, a real "fine dining" feel. No more. The food is still fantastic, though. 5 star food in a 3 star setting. read more

I have lived in Thailand. I love the food and I love the people there that work there. It is a quiet place and my husband and I always get in and out. I lived in a small town in Thailand and their fried rice has the exact same taste it does in Thailand. I love it there. Some people judge it because it isn't a huge place. i really have had a hard time finding a good thai restaurant in utah, which is really too bad since i live here. i always judge a thai restaurant by the depth and intensity of flavor of its curry dishes. this place was rather bland and did not have a ton of spices which gives thai curry its signature flavors. we went for lunch because this place had pretty good reviews but found the flavors wanting. the curries we had were also rather on the sweet side. read more
