Been here a few times now. I don't quite understand why I can go in on a Friday or Saturday night and immediately have a table in this small place. I don't know if word hasn't gotten out enough for this place or what, but it always surprises me that it isn't busier. Staff is always attentive, but not annoying, and friendly. The pad thai is great, and so is the flat noodle dish. I did order a beef salad once, and was pretty disappointed, but I figure that's what I get for ordering a salad at a thai restaurant! We love, Love, L-O-V-E Thai Spice. Best crab rangoon I have ever had. The crust is light and flaky so you can really taste the filling. I always have a hard time deciding between the honeymoon chicken, Chili Chicken or the Pad Thai. All are amazing! read more

We came on a Thursday night and by 6 pm this place was really busy, which is always a good sign. This thai food was about $3-$4 cheaper per a dish than the other thai restaurants I've been too in the Kc area. And let me say, it was delicious. We had pad thai, drunken noodles, Bangkok platter; all were fantastic! A friend went with us and she very literally hates everything beyond easy Mac and cheeseburgers (I wish this was an exaggeration) she wanted something bland so they gave her the royal rice. And man was it bland (exactly what she wanted but not of interest to me). But if you are less adventurous it was like fried rice. I wish they had a location up north, but maybe next week I'll drive down to lees summit again just to get some pad thai. read more

I just LOVE this place, but need to return to try the Sushi! This time I got the Salmon Tamarind, my favorite, and Spring Rolls. He had a gig & I knew he'd be hungry when he got home, so this make tasty leftovers and enough for two! The Salmon Tamarind is s nice piece of salmon on a bed of rice with steamed vegetables and a thick spicy tamarind sauce. It delivers every time! read more

This place has become a hit or miss lately. Most importantly the food is always the hit, service is sometimes a miss. When walking in first impressions are good the place is clean. Food is always fresh, fast, and delicious. It's a great Thai place in the area and I would even travel to come here. You can never go wrong with the Pad Thai, it a huge portion as well. This is our favorite Thai food in the greater KC area! We've eaten here often over the last 4 years. The soft spring rolls for appetizer are delicious, lunch soup is very flavorful, chicken dishes are excellent..so much so that my husband has a hard time choosing a favorite. The drunken noodles are my favorite, yum!! The food here is fresh and excellent and always comes out hot (temperature). The flavors are masterful. My husband lived in China and says the Thai food there was wonderful (due to the nearby location to Thailand) and that this is the best Thai he has had in the states since China! The food was delicious (crab and lobster spring rolls!) but the wait time for our meal was almost an hour.

The bigger Thai Spice gets the more expensive it gets, the worse the service and food get, and the dirtier the restaurant gets. This used to be our favorite Asian place in Lee's Summit but the last 4 or 5 times we have been it just keeps getting worse. Last night it took FOREVER to get our food and then it was wrong. The waitress was apologetic and very nice about it but fixing the mistake took forever again. We used to order medium spice and it had just the right amount of spice now it has none. So I ordered hot last night and it still wasn't spicy. But the last straw for me was how dirty it was inside. The floors were very dirty and the area back by the bathrooms and the bathrooms themselves were disgusting. It's so gross. We won't be back. read more

First time here and I can't wait to go back. Wasn't expecting it to be packed..pretty popular place it seems. Excited to go back and try more, especially the purple ice cream! The location might seem a bit out of place for such a nice, clean restaurant. My recommendation would be to start with the medium or regular spicy. My friend got the Thai Spicy and as delicious as it was definitely not for the weak at heart. Check it out and decide for yourself, you won't regret it. They have great lunch specials too! read more

The service was good and the food was well seasoned; I had the basil seafood w/pad noodles. The starter soup tastes great just a cup will need to go bowl next time. The "Hot" dishes are not spicey at all, and i would consider it to be more mild than hot. This merchant needs to update their website. This place is located in a small strip mall, it is a small restaurant, but the food served here is awesome. Went there after visiting "Christmas in the Park". I ordered "Tofu Jungle Curry". Wow!! It was really good. My wife ordered Pad Thai, it was also good. Would love to go back again. read more

They almost killed me. We ordered a veggie curry and a chicken dish. We waited over an hour for out takeout. When we got home they had given us the chicken dish, ice cold, and instead of a veggie curry they gave us curry with shrimp, beef and chicken in it. I am allergic to shellfish. I was starving by this point and almost took a bite right out of the container, so I wouldn't have noticed. I called to complain and the waitress was rude and impatient. I just moved to the lees summit area. This is an awesome Thai restaurant. Give my favs in San Diego a run. The portions are good sized and the prices are good for what you get. The food is a perfect balance of those warm spices and the sweet notes of really good authentic Thai food. The Panang Curry and Cashew Nut Tofu are yummy! After a weekend of camping and a six hour drive, this food was exactly what we needed. The fried tofu appetizers were generously portioned. The spicy Thai noodles with tofu had plenty of fresh basil and a sweet sauce. The Tom Yum was chunky, and a large bowl was enough for five of us. The Massaman curry was the favorite, though. It was delicately seasoned and really just perfect. The service was spotty to the point that it seemed deliberate. This little place is almost always busy the 10-12 times I've been. And it's no wonder. My favorite is the spicy Thai basil fried rice and the green curry with chicken. They are very friendly, good service, affordable quality Thai dishes. Pad Thai is good too. My only "gripe" is if you order a shrimp dish they give you like 4-5 only. I've brought home 75% of a rice dish so I could add a dozen shrimp of my own. Explore! And if you are daring, I go for spicy, but they do have "Thai Spicy" which might over-power any other flavors. read more

Came here to get my usual poke bowl and it was missing multiple toppings & then when it was remade it still didn't have all the toppings I ordered on it. Big fail on the restaurants behalf.
