I honestly don't know where to begin. First timer to Thai Spice, we were excited bc Bel Air has lacked a great Thai place for years! What did we order: -1 chicken pho -1 papaya salad - spring rolls - Tom Yum -Hot Tea Pot What did we receive: -Papaya Salad -Spring Rolls -Tom Yum We had to flag down our server and ask for the Chicken Pho bc it was never delivered. Then we had to flag down for more water, then we had to ask several times for a to go container. Then a bag.. and on and so on.. Awful customer service, the restaurant wasn't busy but didn't have adequate help. The place was dirty, they staked all dirty dishes on the bar for everyone to see. We were nervous to think about their kitchen and how it looked. They apologized to us but still forgot to bring us our Togo containers and forgot to bring us the tea we ordered... The food tasted good but we decided we will NEVER eat inside the restaurant again even though the food tasted good. The customer service and cleanliness needs to improve before we return. I am sorry for my harsh review but it's an honest review and I am still upset about visit this evening.. If you are new to the area or a bel air local, skip this establishment.

Decided to try something different tonight. My daughter talked this place up so much that I had to try. I started out with dumplings, which were delicious. Seasoned perfectly and well cooked. I also got a Thai iced tea. I highly recommend it, it almost reminds me of chai tea. For dinner o got the drunken noodles with chicken. The seasonings were on point. I wasn't a fan of the texture of the noodles, but that was no fault of the restaurant. My daughter got beef pho and sticky rice. The broth for the pho was so good. The service was super fast and our waitress was really sweet. Definitely a great first experience for me.

I was so happy coming to this place. I have missed having Thai food for so long. This location is in festivals shopping center, so there is a lot of parking. There is a decent amount of seating in the dining area. The staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the drunken noodles and they were perfect. The sauce on them wasn't too spicy and the vegetables were cooked just right. I love the rice noodles in this dish because of how wide they are. The garlic chicken was very good as well! It was not too spicy and the vegetables had great flavor. I cannot wait to go back!

We were in the area (new to us) and needed a quick bite. We landed on Thai and found Thai Spice. The space was newly updated and the look and feel reflected that. It's a modern dining experience. Service was fast and kind. My daughter and I are vegetarian, and they were happy to leave out the oyster sauce from our dishes. She ordered the massaman curry and thought it was delicious. It was very well spiced, and they made it kid-safe mild on the hot spicy level. She loved the heart shaped rice. I ordered the drunken noodles, and they were quite drunk with spiciness, as they should be. The Thai tea was also really, really good. Ooh, we also got the spring rolls. They were hot, crunchy and so yummy.

This place is good. I ordered to go and my order was complete rather quickly. The service was good and the staff are friendly. I will return to try some more items!

Thai Spice was the first Thai restaurant in Bel Air, and I can't imagine that another place could be better. They have a nice lunch menu with smaller plates of their dinner items, and a plate of drunken noodles was only $9.95. They also offer curry dishes, stir fry dishes, pad Thai, pad see ew, and Singapore noodles for the same price. My drunken noodles with "some spice" were perfect, with tender chicken, tons of vegetables, chewy noodles and a mild-to-medium spice level. My dad loved his drunken noodles with pork (his first drunken noodles--he's now a fan!). The lunch size was huge, and we both took half of our noodles home. We were the first to arrive, a little after 11 a.m., and our server was delightful. He explained the menu and the spice levels and kept our water glasses full. He also checked on us to make sure we liked the food (did we ever!). By the time we left, the restaurant was starting to get busy, and I know exactly why!

The food at Thai Spice was great. We enjoyed every bit of it. From the dumplings to the drunken noodles. Now the inside is a bit dated and beat up but don't let it fool you. The food is good.

Went to Thai Spice for a lunch date with my husband. Hard to find good Thai food. This place was great. Food and service were great. Ordered Spring rolls, Volcano fried rice, cashew nut chicken and Panang curry. Loved the rice shaped like a star! Delicious! Definitely will go again!

I live in Middle River, but none of the closer Thai places near me tops this one, I drive 30 mins for!! Been going here every time I crave Thai food for around 4 years now. I think I have try 90% of their menu already.. some that stands out to me are: * Pineapple duck curry (looks better served for dine-in) * Pad thai/Singapore noodles * Papaya salad * Limited Curry puffs/grilled bbq beef/spicy pork sausage/pork jerky/chicken satay * Hoi ob lemongrass (mussels soup) * Crab meat adds-on ($8) in dry dishes * Fried rice section * Green curry soup/ nam tok * Kra pow basil * mango sticky rice/taro pearls *Keep in mind that, a lot of the dishes are served with crushed peanuts or whole ones*

Consistently decent food. It's not the best Thai I've had but definitely good. For the area I can give a solid recommendation

We entered shortly after 4 PM, which is when they open. There was no one downstairs when we entered, so we walked upstairs. When we walked upstairs, we asked the man at the bar if we could be seated because there was no one downstairs. He looked a bit flustered at first, but still ended up seating us in the same spot. I sat before near the window, which is exactly what I wanted. He immediately brought us ice, water and menus. He pointed to the specials on the menu, and gave us some time to look. We were the only people in the restaurant. Within a few minutes, he came and took our orders. Then, we waited.... For like 25 or so minutes... for the appetizer. And honestly, when they brought the duck rolls out, I was super disappointed. These were not the duck rolls I remember. These were tiny, underfilled, mostly full of the wrapper themselves, and lacking flavor. Additionally, when I placed my initial order, I asked for all of the condiments/sauces to be brought out. I asked the server again when the rolls came out, and he didn't bring them out until I asked a third time when the entrées came out. When the entrées did come out (ga tiem and crab fried rice), they left a lot to be desired. Ga tiem: bland. And to make it so bad, the vegetables served with it, were not cooked in the sauce as they normally are. They were served on the side and we're not cooked all the way. I can't really eat broccoli, so I swapped it for green beans, but I could pretty much snap the green beans in half because they were still so undercooked. Crabmeat fried rice: the fact that they cut up like three full scallion stems, barely cooked them, and tucked them under/at the base of the rice is crazy. They weren't even cooked long enough to release flavor. Also, to be in Baltimore, the amount of crab was a little embarrassing. Definitely should have been more. Overall, the rice wasn't very flavorful. Thai tea: good! Not too sweet, not too milky. You want to know what really made me mad? I asked for soy sauce, and they brought those super cheap packages that just look like black water that the cheap Chinese restaurants provide you when you get carry out. Those packets literally taste like nothing. I have been to very few Asian restaurants in my life that provide that type of soy sauce, especially when you dine in. It doesn't taste like soy sauce at all. I was incredibly disappointed. And considering the fact that I had to ask for these sauces three times, I was even more disappointed. We spent about $62 on the items above. Would I say I got my moneys worth? No would I say that I enjoyed this visit as much as I enjoyed the last? Absolutely not.

Whenever I get regular spicy at a Thai place I normally expect to be hit with a kick of spice that hits the tongue. Except here everything was just so sweet it made me somewhat nauseous. Most of the soup dishes had similar based of noodles, protein and herbs. Unless you enjoy overly sweet dishes this wasn't for me as I'd prefer a spicy yet savory kick in my Thai dishes with a slight sweetness. It shouldn't be overpowering. Papaya salad reg spice was sweet. No kick whatsoever. Just papaya shaving, some iceberg lettuce at the bottom and some halved grape tomatoes. Khao soi noodle soup a sweet curry broth. A bit too sweet. Also got it with a tempura chicken but it was mostly fried wonton skin and barely any chicken. Chicken was also dry and hard. Tom yum noodle soup A creamy yet spicy "tom yum" broth. It has somewhat of a kick but for regular spice level it was still too sweet. Even with all the red pepper flakes. It was also missing the lemon grass scent in most tom yum soups I'm used to. Thai noodle soup The only non-spicy dish. Broth was a clear base that was somewhat better after all the sweet dishes. But a little bland. Thai green tea was good though. Just a bit sweet but need to be drank with ice.
