4 Piece Steamed Pork Dumplings
Kelli T.

The service was quick as soon as sat down. This was our first time so we got a little of everything and had plenty of leftovers. The dumplings were so good! Chewy and had great flavor. The spare ribs were great - they were my boyfriend's favorites things. The duck was amazing and crispy, and the sauce that accompanied it was delicious. My favorite was the Ho Fun with Beef. Great flavor, chewy noodles, and so addicting. The house fried rice was also very good and gave lots of leftovers. Overall, I loved this place and would keep going! Not many places in Bel Air serve Asian food like this. There is also a sushi bar here but we don't do the sushi.

Have been to the Orient a few times now and usually get takeout. Didn't discover them until our other go-to for Chinese switched owners and changed the wrong way. We've tried the locations in Bel Air and Perry Hall and have been consistently happy with the food. We've tried the Mandarin Spring Rolls, Singapore Rice Noodles, Shrimp with Garlic sauce, General Tso's chicken, Szechuan String Beans and Lo Mein. All consistently excellent. Their prices are slightly higher but when you order a few entrees they will throw in free soft drinks. The restaurant is spacious and looks like it would provide a pleasant dining atmosphere & experience. Always friendly when we go to pick up our food.

2 Piece Egg Rolls

This place doesn't look like much when you walk past, or inside for that matter. However, the service was excellent and the food was amazing! The serving sizes were huge. Don't skip the egg rolls and spicy mustard. Definitely a must try for Chinese food!

Roast Pork Fried Rice

I've been eating here for years and never had an issue until tonight....was almost done eating when I found a DEAD FLY in my rice !!!!!! Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable

If you like Chinese food, check this place out. Try their peeking duck, it's really good. You can order to take out also. Price is doable. Customer service is nice. The only problem is that its location is in downtown, there is not much parking available up front, you will have to find a parking near it and walk into it.

The staff is attentive and did a great job of making sure our needs were met. My husband is vegan and absolutely loves their tofu dishes.

The raw fish was incredibly fresh, and the rolls tasted like they were made with love. What really impressed me? The waiter remembered me and my order from a few days ago. Crispy, flavorful, and exactly what I needed before my shift. Unfortunately, the customer service was a completely different story. When I walked in, the restaurant was practically empty. There were only two employees inside and no other customers, yet the service was awful. I felt like I was bothering the employees simply by being there and placing an order. And that's one thing I absolutely cannot stand. I should never feel like I'm inconveniencing you by spending my money at your establishment. Especially when the restaurant isn't even busy. The egg rolls alone would've been enough to bring me back, but customer service matters just as much as the food. I would've happily returned to try more of the menu, but after that interaction, I'm not so sure. Three stars, and they're strictly for those egg rolls.

We had a mostly really good experience here and were honestly impressed by the portion sizes!…read more The restaurant itself has a really nice interior. It's spacious with lots of booth seating, warm wood tones and Asian-inspired decor throughout. It definitely feels like a proper sit-down restaurant rather than just a quick takeout spot. Service was good and we had no issues at all, although I would describe it as more efficient than personable. Everyone was nice, there just wasn't a lot of interaction beyond what was needed. We tried the spicy beef soup, beef on a stick, chicken chow mein and the General Tso's Super Meal. The spicy beef soup was one of our favorites. It had the perfect amount of spice, enough heat to notice without overpowering the flavor, and they definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients. It was loaded with beef and vegetables. The beef on a stick was good, although the beef was a little chewy and fairly mild on its own. Adding some soy sauce gave it the extra flavor we felt it needed. The chicken chow mein was a HUGE portion with tender chicken and crunchy vegetables in a light clear/white sauce, served with white rice. We especially liked that the vegetables still had a nice crunch rather than being cooked until completely soft. I ordered the General Tso's Super Meal for $19.95, which came with chicken wonton soup, two crabmeat wontons and two shrimp toasts. The amount of food you get is honestly impressive. The General Tso's was mildly spicy with really good flavor, the broccoli was lightly steamed so it still had a nice crunch without tasting raw, and the white rice was cooked well. I only managed to eat about a quarter of my entrée! Unfortunately, the appetizers included with my Super Meal were the biggest misses. The crabmeat wontons were not what I expected. If you're thinking of the sweeter crab Rangoon commonly served at Chinese restaurants, these are definitely different. They were much more savory. There were visible shreds of imitation crab, but I really couldn't taste much of it because the cream cheese flavor was so dominant. Duck sauce helped, but I still didn't finish the second one. The shrimp toast was unfortunately my least favorite item. The outside was nicely fried and crispy, but when I bit into it there was a surprising amount of moisture inside. I know shrimp toast should have a moist, tender filling, but this went beyond moist for me and almost felt waterlogged. There was shrimp flavor, but I also picked up an odd metallic taste that I personally couldn't get past. I only managed one bite. Those two appetizers definitely weren't for me, but they wouldn't stop us from returning. The actual entrées were good, the portions were incredibly generous and we left with plenty of leftovers. There's a huge menu, so we'd definitely be interested in coming back and trying something different next time.

Greeted quickly and served came rather quickly. She continued to check on us frequently and was very friendly. You get fried noodles and duck sauce once seated. So good. Ordered a sushi roll that was very tasty and fresh. Also got a super meal (can't remember exact name) that comes with an entree, shrimp toast, crab Rangoon, and soup. It is a ton of food. We got the General Tso and it was absolutely delicious. It also comes with rice. All the food we had was fantastic. The prices are beyond reasonable for the quality and quantity! You will need to go boxes. They do have dessert, but didn't order. Highly recommend this place.

We're not too hungry but hungry enough for some app and a roll. We're decided on crab Rangoon, calamari, tuna tataki and titanic roll. Everything was great, we finished it all. Love the tuna, presented beautifully on a lettuce sprinkled with green onions and black sesame. The calamari, while it's not the breaded crispy, its crispy and stir fried with red green pepper and red onions. Loved this too. Crab Rangoon, it's good but not a fan of the dipping sauce that came with it. It's overly sweet and thick in the consistency... this one could definitely be improved. We ended up eating it with the sauce that came with the calamari. Now onto the titanic, nothing but good thing. Fresh and love give it has a black caviar on top. Last but not least, we had to finish with mango sticky rice. The rice came out so warm which was a very nice touch. Ate every bits of it. Service was great attentive and dining area is clean and pretty. There's a seating area on the side where you basically sit in the floor. Would love to come back and experience that another time.
