Thai spice kick is on another level, lol. the Triple flavor fish want another item I enjoyed, Crispy exterior and flakey on the inside, with their sweet sauce just perfect. Everybody I meet knows the owner John. Everybody has high praise too, and I'm not here to disagree. We are there at least once a week for fresh veg-positive Thai food. I'm going to praise John's baking enterprise though. I'm always leaving with some cookies. The Almond style and Coffee ones are the right amount of crisp and politely sweet. He makes other treats in-house like a well tempered Dubai bar using Belgian chocolate John slipped in a new cookie last night and I just noticed. Chocolate chip and it has cashew and cranberry... Pad Thai was horrible, the chicken was rock hard. That was the only item I ordered, but definitely won't be going there again.

A subsequent visit was just as rewarding as the first. We ordered the cashew chicken and pad kee mao beef. Cashew chicken 4/5. The presentation was vibrant. Taste was good. Just had to be bit more spicy. I think their spice levels are on the lower side. Pak kee mao 4/5. A nice presented dish. I liked the flavor and a good size serving. Just wanted it more spicier. There was Atleast couple pieces of lettuce in it, which I wasn't sure why? Service was fine. We got our refills promptly. I also saw a sign that said " halal certified" and there was paperwork framed on their wall of their meat supplier. read more

MISLEADING PRICES/FALSE ADVERTISING I'm really disappointed. Thai Siam lists most of their dishes online and on Yelp for $8.95, but that is NOT what they actually charge. On December 30, I ordered: Pad See Ew (shrimp, mild spicy) Pad Thai (beef, mild spicy) Both were $19.95 EACH. After tax, my total was $43+ for two very basic, regular-sized Thai dishes. I used to order from here all the time. Even when prices went up before, they were around $13.95 per dish, which still didn't match what was listed online, but nearly $20 per dish while advertising $8.95 is just unacceptable. This feels misleading. If prices have increased, they need to update their online and Yelp menus so customers know what they're actually paying before ordering. Good food doesn't excuse inaccurate pricing. I won't be back unless this is fixed. read more

We always grab the lunch special pad thai! It's delicious, always hot and filling. The only drawback is that they close at 3 to reopen at 5, which is no issue except they stop taking orders before that. We normally take our food to go so I don't get why the early cutoff. read more

Tasty Thai food! Great place and very busy. A ton of to-go orders and the restaurant was half full. Always a good sign that the food is good! I had the house salad with their peanut dressing. The dressing was very good! Also ordered the crispy rolls (egg rolls). They were long and thin. I really loved the flavor of the veggies in the rolls. I could probably eat 5 orders of these. Everyone has their own opinion on Thai food. A few years back I probably given 5 stars but over time it just seems to be less authentic. The ingredients appear to change over time and the taste just isn't the same. With the number of Thai restaurants around, Thai Siam just isn't a favorite anymore. read more

Thai Siam is hands down one of my favorite local restaurants to order on Uber Eats. The pad se ew was cooked to perfection, with tender noodles and perfectly seasoned beef. The red curry was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice to leave a lingering heat on the tongue. The mango sticky rice was a delightful dessert, with the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. The chicken satay was juicy and perfectly charred, with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. This place is small but busy. It's located in a large plaza so parking is not an issue. This place is a good spot for a quick lunch and their prices are really affordable and every time I eat here I never wait long. I always order their chicken satay skewers, they're juicy, packed with flavor and a good way to start my meal. Their pad thai is so good and the portions are great. Be careful with the spice levels though because they do not play around with spiciness. Their food is consistent and always satisfies my Thai food cravings. I always see a lot of negative reviews about the service. I feel as if the actual reviewers are really impatient or has a different idea of how fast or accommodating a restaurant should be. The staff here are really welcoming! They check in on you literally every 3-5 minutes. The food comes out quickly and as I mentioned before it's always consistent. They're always refilling our beverages and always checking in to see if we need anything or if everything is okay. I always feel comfortable and welcome here. The food is delicious and affordable. "Thai Siam restaurant by Kroger: At the end of a meal for two, we were presented a check which automatically added an 18% tip. We left 16% because that was all the cash we had. Walked back to our car, and the server knocked on our car window to say we hadn't left enough. Really? We tried to argue we were not obligated to leave 18%. The server said she could not close out the ticket until all the money was entered into their system. Just be aware they add 18% to the check!" A server or restaurant does not get to tell me how much to tip. read more

Ermahgeeeeerd. This was a drive. But this is a drive I'll take any day to come back. It's that good. My coworker and I used to meet up once or twice a month for food, but the pandemic put a stop to social eating for a bit. After a year, we finally had a chance to grab some grubs. This is a smaller joint on a strip off the main road. I can imagine it might get super busy during the rush hours. Staff - was very friendly. They were attentive, stopping by every few minutes to check water and needs. They also had a good handle on the menu and answered questions. Service is important, and they do it well. Starters We started with Todd Mun Pla (fried spicy fish cake), and his was bomb! I'm not normally a fish cake guy, but I would get this every time I come back. The sauce and pairs perfectly with the textures and tastes of the cakes. You'll want it, so get it. As good as that was, the Siam Dumplings were even better. Again, the sauce was great, but also as with the cakes, you don't need it. The dumplings were so flavorful, and the texture was joy. You will eat it, and smile. Mains We went through the menu and put some strategy into what we'd get. She ordered the Summering Seafood, grilled shrimp and scallops on skewers, over a mound of crab fried rice. This came with a side of veggies. The shrimp was good, the scallops and rice were both great. It's flavorful, and good quantity I ordered the GLP Chicken and Shrimp, shrimp and chicken in a spicy garlic lime pepper sauce, over a bed of rice with slaw on the side. Per the menu, this is a their signature dish. It was worth the hype. ERRYTHANG on this plate was yum. I love good rice, and I could eat this on the daily! When we eat we order to share, and we had a snacks-worth left for later. Desserts I ordered the thai tea. I used to love thai tea, then I stopped finding good ones. But this one was refreshingly tasty, and I would get it again . It doesn't have the powdery taste. Very good. We also ordered the Sticky Rice with Mango. It was the best one I've had, hands down. Get it, treat yo self. Verdict Yes. All of it, yes. I would drive from Pearland to Sugarland on repeat for this. The quality, quantity, flavors, textures, and price. The service is excellent. This place has improved with efficiency and more realistic wait times for to go orders. They are a very small restaurant and also very popular. Even though we are no longer living in that area, sometimes we go out of our way to get food from here. Please check your bill they charge 18% tip to the bill for 2 people which i think is outrageous. Will have to think twice before going over there the food is excellent but people on fixed income its a shock to find out about 18% after you have enjoyed the food And they have guts to give you the option to add more tips on the credit card receipt, for people unaware they already have been charged for the tip read more

Super small restaurant and super busy. Staff is ok. To call in to-go orders, they're slow. Hate that they charge extra for beef. For the lunch menu, I like that it comes with a salad and a vegetarian egg roll. But don't expect a salad with lettuce, you might get a few bits if iceberg lettuce but mostly cabbage. My favorite dish is the panang curry and I like it super spicy so I always get Thai hot. I've had other panang curries and it would taste super peanutty or peanut buttery and this one does not. Their pad see ew is also good but I hate that they use regular broccoli instead of Chinese broccoli which is what usual traditional Thai pad see ews have. The appetizers - crab meat cheese rolls is pretty good too. Has lots of soft cream cheese with bits of crab meat. The dip that comes with it is a sweet chili sauce. read more

Why add an 18% junk fee for gratuity? This could easily be rolled into the food price but they are using a tricky tactic to get you to pay more. Edit. Put the mandatory fee in the price of the food and pay your employees. Gratuity should be optional. read more

Food is decent and services are good. Thanks to one of the reviews, we did take a look at the receipt before we provided the credit card. For our table of three people, 18% tip was charged on the bill but the waitress didn't mention it at all. After the credit card was brought back, the detailed receipt including the tip was not brought back, just the receipt for us to write in the tip again and the total to sign. If we didn't notice the tip was already charged in the original receipt, we would have added another 20% tip when we sign the receipt. 18% tip added in the bill for a party of 3 was not a common practice but if they explained it well, we don't have a problem with it. However, trying to trick people into tipping twice should be addressed by the restaurant owner/manager. The customers should be treated with respect and honesty. read more

This is one of my top favorite restaurants and the best thai restaurant I know! My sister and I love it so much that we drive 20 minutes for it. Their food is always so flavorful and I love how spicy I can make anything I order. We both did a lunch special and my sister got the green curry which she loved. As many times as I've frequented (is that a word?), Thai Siam I'm confused as to why I've never reviewed it. It's really close to one of my job sites and I am so grateful! Thai Sam is so good, and authentic. I've had the Shrimp Pad Thai and the vegetarian Pad Thai with and without tofu and both are delicious. Medium level spice, and you have yourself a treat honey!
