    papaya salad

Located in Sugar Land, we came here for a late lunch on a weekend. Plenty of parking spaces in the plaza. It wasn't crowded so we got seated right away. A lot of the usual Thai dishes on the menu.  We went with some of our favorite Thai dishes, something that was easy to share for a table of 6. You can pick your spice level and choose a protein (e.g. chicken, beef, veggie, seafood for an additional charge). - pad see ew - pad thai - crab fried rice - thai red curry - papaya salad - mango sticky rice   We enjoy everything we ordered. My favorites were the crab fried rice and papaya salad. Good portion and the spice level was tolerable. The mango sticky rice was perfect way to end the meal. Service was friendly and quick. Our server checked in on us many times and asked if everything was good. Overall, a solid Thai spot in the area to check out.

Great food! The Khao Soi had a slightly fishy after taste on certain bites for me, but I still really enjoyed it and would get it again next time! Yellow curry was my favorite, and the papaya salad is my favorite one I've tried at any Thai restaurant! We got everything medium spicy, and it had a great spice level! I will say a quick warning that the tom yum soup did taste a lot spicier than we expected!! Still really good though! We also ordered some cocktails that were amazing! They took awhile to come out, but they were quite busy on a Friday night so I'm sure that's why. Waiters were all very nice, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]we loved the way it's decorated inside! Very bright and inviting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food was great, as was its presentation. The service was also quite quick and I enjoyed the variety of options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Probably more of a modern Thai place rather than traditional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was also plenty of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only major quip is that upon entering, the tables were filthy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All of the empty tables had their dirty dishes still left out because, according to the waiter, there wasn't enough ppl working.

Me, my wife and 2 kids had an amazing dine-in experience here. It was our first time here and our waiter Louie made us feel welcomed. After we sat down, he made sure answer all our question and gave us a few recommendations that we will have to try next time... even the pineapple fried rice Louie..even the rest of the staff was nice and welcoming, making sure that even if Louie was at another table taking orders that we were helped or vice versa. Now on to the foods. First I had a bowl of soup in which I can't remember the name. It was a delicious soup that reminded me of something similar to what my Abuela would make when I was younger. A rich broth and cilantro and other herbs to give it a fresh warmth taste. My wife had the crab fried rice which she said that the crab tasted fresh and the fried rice was delicious. My daughters had chicken fried rice in which after watching them devour it all would say it was probably delicious. We then ordered this big beautiful whole fried fish" which was bass" and it was delicious. Most of the meat is already skinned off of the fish and fried making it easier for us to eat. The sauce they put on top had a heavy garlic taste and it was delicious. Next time we come we are going to try the whole fish tilapia. We even had a good amount to take home for our lunch the next day. Our overall experience here was very amazing, so we will back here again for our waiter Louie and the recommendations.

Delicious food! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice ambiance, small but the environment has a nice aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was attentive as well. We did feel the prices were on the higher side but the food was definitely great quality. Really enjoyed the drunken noodles especially and the pineapple curry was super flavorful. Would def recommend checking this out.

Was looking forward to trying Thai Town since a coworker said the ratings were good. Unfortunately, this place was a miss for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you dine here, it's more for the aesthetics and not the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was ok; felt slow. First sip of the Thai tea was good initially, however there was a strong/funky lingering tea taste i wasn't crazy about. Tom yum was overpriced but delicious. Most tom yums at other restaurants usually come with shrimp, but at Thai Town you pay extra for the protein chosen. Probably one of the worst khao soi I've had in a while. More on the sour/bitter side than savory. Soft noodles were not good quality; chicken was dry. Not sure if drunken noodle with chicken got left out a bit. Enjoyed the dish but it was lukewarm when brought to the table. Took a while to flag down a worker for the check. Wasn't a terrible experience but there's better Thai options in Sugar Land/Houston area.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Although the restaurant is quite small, we were able to fit our party of 9 on a Wednesday night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started off with the chicken satay and chicken wings for appetizers. The chicken satay was just okay, but the sauces made it better! The chicken wings were really good, and the sweet chili sauce paired great with it! For my entree, I went with the khao soi (curry egg noodle). Everyone was wowed by the presentation! The flavor of the curry was great, and the mild level spice was perfect for me. I really liked how the soft egg noodles paired with the crispy fried noodles on top! My only issue with it was the chicken in the curry, which was quite dry. The chicken pieces were quite thin, so it was probably overcooked. I would definitely come back for the khao soi and chicken wings!

Great Thai restaurant in Sugar Land area. Went In Sunday for dinner and luckily got seated instantly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was super crowded 15 min after I sat down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love the Thai tea here (not too sweet). Pad Thai w chicken spice level 3 was perfect. Perfect portion for "family style" meals. Papaya salad was refreshing and flavorful. Would definitely come back.

Came here after lunch hour, and the restaurant was still a little packed. There was no wait for a table for two. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was decorated simply.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking was free, and there were ample parking spots. Started with the chicken satay dish, and it was just ok. There wasn't any flavor to the chicken satay nor the sauce that came with it. The pad woon sen was flavorful, but the crab fried rice was a letdown as it was tasteless. The service staff were friendly and polite, but the food wasn't up to par.

First time visiting Thai Town after coming from California. [[HIGHLIGHT]]such a vibrant place with amazing vibes, authentic culture, and incredible food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every bite was worth it, and the atmosphere made the experience even better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a spot I'd come back to again.

    N1. Pad Thai

It was okay. My pad Thai which came out to around $20. I wasn't impressed with the food for the price but the food tasted fine. Idk if it's me or not but it was also a bit red which I have never seen before.

A little outside of our usual area but had some tasty eats and a bonus! Another "if I lived over here I would come more often" place. Friendly service, full bar, shared parking lot, all day HH Mon and Tues Appetizer combo, small but good: coconut shrimp, chicken satay, cream cheese golden bag, crispy cheese roll Beef larb: could have used more lettuce for wrapping Crispy pad thai: new to us! Crispy wide noodles, leaned sweet Roti and curry: good Khao soi with chicken: fave Crab fried rice: rice was a tiny bit overcooked Thai drunken spaghetti with seafood: good Mango sticky rice: typical BONUS super delicious house made chili crisp that you can purchase! Honestly it really boosted all the dishes and the texture was top tier

Really enjoyed Thai Thumbs!…read more They have indoor and outdoor seating and we were given the option to sit outside until something opened up inside. They offered to move us, even if we had already ordered, which I thought was nice. There was about eight of us and I thought they did a really good job of being friendly and accommodating. I ended up getting the glass noodles meal with tofu. My only issue was that it was supposed to be mild but was a bit on the spicy side! But otherwise it was delicious. I ended up with a to go box. My friend also got this coconut Matcha drink that looked really cool. I snapped a photo even though I didn't get to try it. But I want to try it one day next time I come back! Our server was very attentive, checked in often and noticed when we needed refills and our appetizers cleared. We started with the egg rolls and Heaven Beef as appetizers. The Heaven Beef was served with sticky rice and a flavorful dipping sauce that paired perfectly with the beef. My only suggestion is to eat the sticky rice right away, as it hardens quickly once it cools. For my entrées, I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and the Lobster Curry. Both dishes were packed with bold flavors and spice. It was my first time trying lobster curry, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The lobster was cooked perfectly, buttery, and not tough at all. You also have to try the Thai tea! It was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. Whether you're looking for lunch, dinner, takeout, or a date night spot, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. Yes, the first time we came the place was bustling and food took quite a long time to come out. However, they brought us water even though we were just taking to-go, that was very kind of them. Once we got home, the food was delicious! We were both impressed by how much veggies and meat were in our dishes. My green curry wasn't mostly curry but it was FULL of chicken, peppers, and bamboo. I wasn't just scooping plain curry at the end. This is such a different experience than most places. A few weeks later we came back with some friends and were not disappointed. My friend's 7 year old got a pad see ew by himself and it seriously looked like he hadn't eaten at all at the end of the (that's how big the portions were). Crispy roti and yummy sweet coconut yellow curry is a good appetizer to start your Thai food journey Basil Thai fried rice with chicken - 9/10, the taste is on the sweeter side and a tad oily for my taste.
