A small Thai restaurant that sells authentic Thai food. The restaurant is decorated simply but beautifully. They have lunch menu items that are reasonably priced. Their regular menu features curries, vegetable entrees, soups, and salads among others. I had the chicken satay and fried tofu as appetizers. The chicken satays were tender inside and went well with the peanut sauce. The fried tofu was made with rice flour, thus the texture was soft and smooth. For entree, I had the Pad Thai which was flavorful. The crispy garlic chicken lunch special was plentiful. Staff was friendly and polite.

We got seated fast. But another group who came after us got their orders taken before us. Then the waitress (one and only in the restaurant) is so unfocused, that when we start giving our orders, she tells us to wait, gets interrupted with seating new guest. Ordered the following 1. Tom yum. Have to add $2 to make it creamy. Asked if they can place less chicken. Answer is sorry they cannot. The soup came to the table just a degree above tap! In short, it's just Luke warm! 2. Papaya salad Came To our table with lots of the vegetables hanging outside the plate and touching the table. The salad is so soupy! So sloppy presentation. 3. Shrimp pad Thai. Not impressive 4. Chicken with asparagus. The last dish. Came so late. 5. The glass water pitcher on our table. Leaking water on the table. When we inspected, the neck of the pitcher has cracks. This restaurant is still using to serve water in it. We were not charged for the papaya salad. Will not come back to this horrible restaurant.

We heard about this place when we last ate at Morningside Thai. This is part of their family. We loved Arun. The Lunch menu is offered on Saturday from 2 to 2:30 pm so I jumped on the chicken pad thai which came with a crispy vegetable egg roll and a cup of the soup of the day....vegetable....all amazing. My wife got a cup of wonton soup, some baby beef egg rolls and some crisp tempura shrimp....more amazing, we shared everything. We even enjoyed a couple iced tea drinks. This is not near our neighborhood but it was well worth the drive. Super friendly people and tasty food.

Arun Thai Kitchen pleasantly surprised me. My friend and I both love Thai food and we each have different places we consider our "go-to's," but the other day we decided to branch out. I'm not sure exactly when Arun Thai Kitchen opened, but we had each noticed it for the first time recently and decided to give it a go. First off, the restaurant is very well decorated. Whoever was in charge of the decor deserves some recognition because it is so cute and vibey in there! They even have Jellycats! The place feels modern, but homey. My friend and I couldn't stop commenting on the decorations! Then there was the food! The menu was extensive with incredible options throughout. I went with the Pad Se-lew, which was the same as Pad See Ew from my usual Thai place. The dish was flavorful, but could've been spicier in my opinion. Next time I'll ask for more spice. I requested only broccoli, although the dish typically includes carrots as well. It was enjoyable and I had enough for leftovers! The service was excellent. My friend ordered the Tom Kha soup and it came with very little broth. My friend pretty much only ate the broth and when our waitress came by with our main dishes, she told us to always request what we want because they want us to enjoy our food. She said we could ask for more broth next time. Her attentiveness and willingness to accept requests was very sweet. I appreciate it when places don't make you feel bad for making requests. Our waitress was great! I will say, though, it took a while for the food to come out. Maybe I was just hungry, but we did wait for a while before eating. Arun Thai Kitchen is a place I would certainly visit again. It's a great spot for a friend date (or a date date)! I also noticed a ton of pick up orders being retrieved while we were there so that could be a good option, too. Yum!

Another addition to Thai cuisine in our neighborhood. Good in a way as we don't have to drive to Galleria area anymore for Thai food! However, this is a very casual restaurant, has definitely room to grow as this Suburb is full of Asian population. Food was fine, though had read great reviews that tempted me to try. Service was average, as it was less welcoming even at 8:15 PM, when restaurant closes at 9pm, hope they welcome guests with equal enthusiasm, especially being new in the neighborhood for making repeat customers. Let see how it picks up, so will definitely try one more time!

They even have great crispy garlic lunch prices!!

We have been coming to Arun for about 6 months. It is our favorite. They have great crispy garlic chicken and pad kemao. Everyone is so kind and the service is always top notch. Please come try. Support local businesses!!! Thank you Noryi!! The best!!

Can't get enough of this place! Our favorite is the pad see ew with pineapple fried rice with chicken and the tomkah soup . Food is consistent and service is always fast. The place is pretty small and has always a lot of take out orders. Service is ok .

The food here is so delicious and the service is phenomenal. The menu is diverse so everyone in your party can find something they love. My family has dined here at least 7 times and we can't wait to go back. Get the cheese rolls!

This place is a solid option of Thai food in the area. Recently opened up. Very accommodating for large parties though the restaurant is on the smaller end. We got: papaya salad, green curry, red curry, garlic sauce veggies with tofu, pad ke mao, pad se ew. Papaya salad is a must have. For me the spicy level was perfect at medium spicy. Green curry is on the sweeter end , would order hot. The curries weren't too heavy which is what I like. My 2 year old ate the pad se ew and the green bean which is a win. Service is decent too they are still getting their bearings which is 100% understandable. Would come again for sure!

I sat on the patio since it was such a beautiful day, and the atmosphere was really nice. I ordered the tom yum soup and the fried veggie rolls. The tom yum was delicious and the portion was huge I couldn't even finish the bowl. The veggie rolls were the only thing I was a little disappointed with because the filling was pretty mushy after taking a bite. Customer service was great, though, and I also have to mention the table next to me ordered a few shareable appetizers that looked amazing and instantly made me want to come back just to try those. Overall, it's a really cute spot inside with a great vibe, food was great and so many options to choose from I'd definitely give it another try.

There is street parking, but odds are you'll need to go into the free garage which is steps away from the restaurant. Free parking and great food makes the burbs my favorite place to go. Reservation options weren't available online but I imagine you can probably call ahead if need be. We came at dinner time on a Friday night and were able to get a table right away in their spacious patio. The restaurant itself is very nice inside and out and has a high end feel to it. Customer service was straight business but still ok. Between my friends and I, we saw stuff on social media and online to have a pretty good idea of what to get. I started off with a Thai beer called Singha which was nice and refreshing. My friends got different cocktails and enjoyed them, especially the lychee martini. For the table, we started off with the popular Heaven Beef. It was marinated, fried beef with sticky rice. This was indeed heavenly. The little strips of beef were so flavorful on it's own, but the sauces they provided gave it some heat plus an added layer of flavor. For entrees, we went family style and got a few different items. We saw a nearby table get the chef's special Bone-In Ribeye. It looked like a mini tomahawk but was still a generous portion. It was MKT priced which ended up being close to 90 bucks. This steak was amazing, but we felt it was a bit overpriced. For a curry dish, we went with the Panang Curry with chicken. This dish was so good. We got everything at pretty high spice levels which was the way to go. For a rice dish, we got the Garlic Shrimp Fried Rice. They know how to do fried rice here. The shrimp in it was large and plentiful. The garlic flavor was definitely there but not overpowering. For a noodle dish, we got the Pad See Ew with shrimp. Another hit. All the portions were generous. I usually never leave a Thai spot with mango sticky rice, but no room this trip. Overall, Thai Thumbz has made it high on my favorite Thai restaurants in the Greater Houston area. I will most definitely be back.

The chicken satay was just okay, but the sauces made it better! The chicken wings were really good, and the sweet chili sauce paired great with it! For my entree, I went with the khao soi (curry egg noodle). Everyone was wowed by the presentation! The flavor of the curry was great, and the mild level spice was perfect for me. I really liked how the soft egg noodles paired with the crispy fried noodles on top! My only issue with it was the chicken in the curry, which was quite dry. The chicken pieces were quite thin, so it was probably overcooked. I would definitely come back for the khao soi and chicken wings!
