This is a very small restaurant in the river stone area of Sugarland. The service is fast and all the servers are friendly and helpful. We love it. Our appetizer was curry puff and the roti with curry. Delicious. Hubby had the panang curry and I had the red curry, both with a 3 spice level. So so so good. For sure it rivals the nines. We will definitely be back.

I wanted to try this place hoping for a solid Thai meal, but overall it was pretty underwhelming. I ordered a Thai iced tea that never made it to the table, and the food took a really long time to come out. I got the Pad See Ew - flavor-wise it was okay, but not as flavorful as a classic Thai spot. Nothing was particularly wrong with it, it just didn't really stand out. I also ended up finding a hair in my food, which I don't think was supposed to come with. Service left a little to be desired overall, between the missing drink and the long wait. Food it'self was barely alright. I probably won't be coming back.

A small Thai restaurant that sells authentic Thai food. The restaurant is decorated simply but beautifully. They have lunch menu items that are reasonably priced. Their regular menu features curries, vegetable entrees, soups, and salads among others. I had the chicken satay and fried tofu as appetizers. The chicken satays were tender inside and went well with the peanut sauce. The fried tofu was made with rice flour, thus the texture was soft and smooth. For entree, I had the Pad Thai which was flavorful. The crispy garlic chicken lunch special was plentiful. Staff was friendly and polite.

We got seated fast. But another group who came after us got their orders taken before us. Then the waitress (one and only in the restaurant) is so unfocused, that when we start giving our orders, she tells us to wait, gets interrupted with seating new guest. Ordered the following 1. Tom yum. Have to add $2 to make it creamy. Asked if they can place less chicken. Answer is sorry they cannot. The soup came to the table just a degree above tap! In short, it's just Luke warm! 2. Papaya salad Came To our table with lots of the vegetables hanging outside the plate and touching the table. The salad is so soupy! So sloppy presentation. 3. Shrimp pad Thai. Not impressive 4. Chicken with asparagus. The last dish. Came so late. 5. The glass water pitcher on our table. Leaking water on the table. When we inspected, the neck of the pitcher has cracks. This restaurant is still using to serve water in it. We were not charged for the papaya salad. Will not come back to this horrible restaurant.

We heard about this place when we last ate at Morningside Thai. This is part of their family. We loved Arun. The Lunch menu is offered on Saturday from 2 to 2:30 pm so I jumped on the chicken pad thai which came with a crispy vegetable egg roll and a cup of the soup of the day....vegetable....all amazing. My wife got a cup of wonton soup, some baby beef egg rolls and some crisp tempura shrimp....more amazing, we shared everything. We even enjoyed a couple iced tea drinks. This is not near our neighborhood but it was well worth the drive. Super friendly people and tasty food.

Arun Thai Kitchen pleasantly surprised me. My friend and I both love Thai food and we each have different places we consider our "go-to's," but the other day we decided to branch out. I'm not sure exactly when Arun Thai Kitchen opened, but we had each noticed it for the first time recently and decided to give it a go. First off, the restaurant is very well decorated. Whoever was in charge of the decor deserves some recognition because it is so cute and vibey in there! They even have Jellycats! The place feels modern, but homey. My friend and I couldn't stop commenting on the decorations! Then there was the food! The menu was extensive with incredible options throughout. I went with the Pad Se-lew, which was the same as Pad See Ew from my usual Thai place. The dish was flavorful, but could've been spicier in my opinion. Next time I'll ask for more spice. I requested only broccoli, although the dish typically includes carrots as well. It was enjoyable and I had enough for leftovers! The service was excellent. My friend ordered the Tom Kha soup and it came with very little broth. My friend pretty much only ate the broth and when our waitress came by with our main dishes, she told us to always request what we want because they want us to enjoy our food. She said we could ask for more broth next time. Her attentiveness and willingness to accept requests was very sweet. I appreciate it when places don't make you feel bad for making requests. Our waitress was great! I will say, though, it took a while for the food to come out. Maybe I was just hungry, but we did wait for a while before eating. Arun Thai Kitchen is a place I would certainly visit again. It's a great spot for a friend date (or a date date)! I also noticed a ton of pick up orders being retrieved while we were there so that could be a good option, too. Yum!

Another addition to Thai cuisine in our neighborhood. Good in a way as we don't have to drive to Galleria area anymore for Thai food! However, this is a very casual restaurant, has definitely room to grow as this Suburb is full of Asian population. Food was fine, though had read great reviews that tempted me to try. Service was average, as it was less welcoming even at 8:15 PM, when restaurant closes at 9pm, hope they welcome guests with equal enthusiasm, especially being new in the neighborhood for making repeat customers. Let see how it picks up, so will definitely try one more time!

They even have great crispy garlic lunch prices!!

We have been coming to Arun for about 6 months. It is our favorite. They have great crispy garlic chicken and pad kemao. Everyone is so kind and the service is always top notch. Please come try. Support local businesses!!! Thank you Noryi!! The best!!

Can't get enough of this place! Our favorite is the pad see ew with pineapple fried rice with chicken and the tomkah soup . Food is consistent and service is always fast. The place is pretty small and has always a lot of take out orders. Service is ok .

I swear it's just one really long hand made noodle, so it's a bit hard to share, but it's a must-get. We also tried the Claypot noodle and it was good as well but a bit of an acquired taste. The restaurant is located inside Jusgo grocery store. The seating is quite limited so I wouldn't recommend it for large parties. And it's pretty mom and pop, so if that's your jam, go for it. Chairs are mismatched, drinking water is somewhat self-service in small cafeteria-style plastic cups, and tables are small. Like I said - mom and pop, and that's not a bad thing. It's just not exactly a place where you would have a nice business meeting. Service was ok - nothing to note. You pay at the cashier which is like 2 feet from where you ate. Yes, it's a small space. I have passed by their restaurant many times, but it never occurred to me to go in until one day I was surprised to see them ranked in the top 100 ramen places nationally on Yelp! With less than 300 reviews, I was skeptical at first but was intrigued to give it a try, and I'm so glad that I did! I visited on a Friday afternoon right before New Year's and was greeted warmly by the staff inside. As I was indecisive on what to order in the ramen section, I asked the staff for suggestions. She was kind to walk me through the menu without rushing to get an order, and she mentioned that their most popular item is actually the beef noodles. That was all I needed to make a decision to try the beef noodles. While waiting for the food, I chatted with the staff and learned that the restaurant opened right before the pandemic then shifted their model to take-out only as the pandemic begin. Since then, they've tried to make use of their restaurant space to return to dine-in but it has been difficult to find reliable workers. In the interest of keeping the quality consistent and customers happy, they've decided to make sacrifices to keep the business model as is for take-out only instead of scaling up with additional staff, which is such a shame given the rent in the area is not cheap and they have such a beautiful space! When you hear "take-out only", I know what you're thinking, BUT I promise you this is the best takeout food you will ever have! The packaging is very well-designed to keep the flavors and ingredients at its finest! As I mentioned, I ordered the beef noodles, and typically noodle dishes are not ideal for takeout, but Asia Blue separates the soup from the noodles so that the noodles are not soggy, and even after half hour, the soup stayed warm and flavorful. The noodles also came paired with many mini side dishes as palate cleansers, which were a nice surprise. From my conversation with the staff, I've also learned that this is one of the rare places that truly make their broth fresh from premium ingredients! You can be sure that it's MSG free and packed with healthy nutrients, and that's a quality that you can taste. I highly recommend this place for your next ramen adventure, and I certainly will be returning again very soon to try the other menu items. :)

When you pickup your food, the sit down area is dark, and there isn't much of a waiting area. It looks to be run by two folks, the cook and the cashier. It is probably best to order over the app, as the one cashier is busy packing the food in the fancy packaging and dealing with the money transactions. Since it is only two people, it can be slow to get your food when it is busy. I waited an additional 20 mins from the projected time it was suppose to be done. As for the food, the miso ramen was packed in this fancy box. The box contained the soup separated from the noodles with a few side dishes. I believe this is the only vegi ramen they offer. It is nothing special. The broth is basically miso soup with soy sauce. (2 out of 5) The cold sesame noodles was better. It had more flavor. (4 out of 5) The Salt & Pepper Chicken was good (4.5 out of 5). I couldn't help eating it while in the car, as it smelled so good. The Braised Pork over rice was decent. It was cut up thick pork belly, braised in an Asian brown sauce. The flavoring was a little one sided. (3 out of 5). I'm giving this place an overall 3 stars because the food isn't something to rave about. Packaging and presentation were great, but tastes was more important to me.
