this is my go to place for Thai but today...... I placed a carry out while waiting ten minutes motionless on I 70 east with my car engine off.. I ordered crab fried rice no onions or green onions. When I arrived I tried to pay with cash and the cashier said we don't take cash then handed me an order of crab Rangoon. I told her this is not what I ordered. Another employee stepped in and apologized by saying "we have a lot of new people here". I told him that ordered crab fried rice no onions and no green onions..He took my cash and gave me change then He apologized again and said "I will get it made for you quick" I replied I would prefer to have my order right than quick then we walked back to the kitchen A few minutes later another employee handed my order and apologized that it was wrong. When I got home.. You guessed it crab fried rice with onions and scallions. I can't make this stuff up. I think I will not be going there anytime soon. Good option to get some decent vegan food. Got the pad Thai which was very good. Crispy tofu. Good too. Pineapple curry was ok. Good service and quick. We're able to get all our food in time and correct in our part of 12. Only bad thing, the waitress didn't ask how spicy we wanted the dish while some others at our party did. Always a good choice in Pickerington for Thai, Chinese, or various other types of food. My standard order is the Pad Thai, and Hot and Sour Soup. The soup is some of the best that I have had, not overpowering with the heat, but you know its there, and not overpowering with the sour either. The Pad Thai is the best, great flavor and large portions. As we are still in the midst of COVID, their dining room is still closed, but takeout is available. read more

Okay, I love Thai Paradise. This is one of those places I craved OFTEN. It used to be in a smaller place and recently moved. This newer place is bigger, brighter, and all around better in my opinion. But honestly, we takeout more then we dine in. My husband and I get the same things EVERY time and have been for the past 5-7 years! Island Chicken with extra chicken for him and the Pineapple Curry with extra carrots for me. Both are to die for. You will not regret these options. YUM!! We also go white rice every time, I don't like to mix anything because these dishes are so good. Service is always great. This place is a hidden gem in my opinion! Also, tons of parking here you will not struggle to find a spot. In a word, delish. Started with hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon. Both were very good. Nice spice, But not too hot. Had the Penen Curry with fried rice. Chicken and veggies swimming in a peanut sauce. Wonderful! Jess had some garlic black pepper and mushroom tofu. She really liked it as well. My first review on this Thai paradise restaurant. Its pretty good, 90 degrees outside the restaurant air conditioner worked fresh cool air. The customer service was excellent, clean restaurant with paradise feel inside art displaying alm around the tables. I haven't been there before, i ordered sliced steak with onions and lettuce and cucumber very delicious dish. It kind of tastes like laop, but more sweet and a little roast rice flavor. I also got thai style noodles with a fried egg on top. Lunch menu was Thai cuisine and dinner menu has more flavors like korean and Chinese dishes. I would return for the dinner menu. BEWARE: The prices on the menu aren't what they charge. 3 out of the 4 items I ordered were $2-3 more on my bill. When I asked they said the new menus aren't ready but they are charging the prices anyways. That their prices are subject to change at any time. So I guess a business can decide what they want to charge you that day. Menu pricing is a suggestion apparently. Not good business. read more

Terrific first time visit. I wasn't able to stay and dine in, Covid-19 and all, but the take away Himmapan Chicken was absolutely delicious. I plan on going back for more but I have one small ask: Please, oh please, don't be like every other Far East Asian eatery on the East Side and disappoint me on my second visit. This restaurant is consistently ranked highly in not only in Pickerington but in Columbus as well, and I can see why. Thai Paradise has delicious food at a modest price point, a great atmosphere, and very friendly and attentive staff. I recently visited Thailand, and the decor here does harken to an upscale restaurant in its origin country. It's definitely not your typical Asian carry-out joint! The food is delicious, but it definitely is Americanized. They don't have the shrimp and shrimp paste in the dishes as much as traditional Thai dishes have. They give very large portions for the price - I ordered chicken with peanut sauce and could only make it through half. The meal made excellent leftovers the next day. For those that aren't as adventuresome with Thai food, they also carry traditional Americanized Chinese dishes that are tasty. The staff checked in on us frequently and was very helpful, but not in an annoying way. Thai Paradise is worth the drive in Cbus for some great Thai experience! read more

This was excellent. I had Pad Thai and Thai coffee for the first time here. I am a black coffee drinker so the Thai Coffee tasted overwhelmingly sweet to me. I really wanted to try it though and drank the entire thing. It was good - just expect a sugar high. The Pad Thai as awesome. I took about 1/4 of it home because I had the Egg Drop Soup as well. That was the best soup I have ever had. I'm actually craving it right now. The crunchy wontons didn't have much flavor or purpose for me but I enjoyed trying them. I did like the option to add crushed peanuts to my pad Thai. It's a stop I'll make again for sure. read more

Update Got take out for Five yesterday I had forgotten the small serving sizes that are common here. The food quality has taken a nose dive. Gen Tso Was tough and mostly breading Rwo dishes had celery and that was the overwhelming ingredient in both and completely skewed the flavor to celery I like celery but not as a primary flavor I think they use a lot because it is cheap. I hate they have taken this turn when they were located in the smaller place down near the Drug Mart they were my favorite Chinese food read more

The three star rating is mostly for the garlic pepper calamari, which was really good--flavorful, and cooked almost perfectly. I also had the combination Pad See Ew which I thought was just not flavorful enough. It had ample amounts of vegetables which seemed fresh, but it just didn't have any flavor/sauce, nothing. This is our go-to spot for Asian takeout. Everything we've had there had been fantastic. The pad Thai is superb, their Chinese inspired dishes are delicious, their crab Rangoon appetizer has a fantastic peanut curry sauce that sets it apart from the same appetizer elsewhere. Their Thai curries are excellent and flavorful. And now they've added sushi to their menu. Why go anywhere else? I've been so glad to be able to support Thai Paradise during this COVID-19 situation, and I'm so looking forward to being able to go back to dine in. read more

My wife and I moved to Pickerington in October and today March 31st was our first time visiting Thai Paradise! The inside is very nice upscale environment. Our servers were so awesome you could not ask for any better, food was amazing, large portions and all at a affordable cost. This is now our most favorite Thai restaurant. We've been going here for years. This is probably our favorite casual Asian place in Columbus. The food used to be AMAZING...it's still pretty darn good. They're short staffed right now and seem to have been really effected by the pandemic. When we went back for the first time since they reopened their doors to dine-in customers, the owner was waiting on 8 tables by herself. Surprisingly, we still felt well taken care of while dining and the wait for food wasn't long at all. I really hope they're able to pull through and get back to having a full dining room, good kitchen staff and full wait staff. If you go, be sure to try the hot & sour soup!!! read more

ENVIRONMENT: This was not our first time at Thai Paradise, but it was our first time at their new location. Their setup is so much better now! In the new place, there is more seating and a more comfortable environment. Definitely an upgrade. STAFF: We had a positive experience with the staff members. We were acknowledged both when we entered and exited the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly, and we were served quickly. FOOD: We got two appetizers: the mini egg rolls and the crab rangoon. Both were just alright. I'm fairly certain I wouldn't get them again. They weren't bad but just weren't exciting enough for a second go. My wife enjoyed her entre (Mussaman curry with chicken) and said she would get it again. I loved my selection of the Korean beef short rib. The sauce was excellent, and the meat was much better than what you could get at a nearby Chinese takeout, proof Thai Paradise is more worthwhile. read more
