The bins range from small to large and can be filled with fruits, vegetables, and grocery items. I opted for the small fruit and vegetable bin. For $35 I get to pick what produce goes into the bin plus add additional grocery items like eggs, milk, grains, cheese, beverages, etc. I chose to have my bins delivered every other week since it can get pricey and I alone can't finish off an entire bin in a week's time. The goods come delivered in a sturdy plastic bin with a cooling block to keep your produce cold. The produce always looks super fresh and delicious. I've never received a bruised looking item. Getting produce from Green Bean Delivery has single handedly caused me to eat healthier and cook more. It has encouraged me to be more creative and cook vegetables I have never tried before. Supporting local farmers is also a plus. Their customer service is also pretty excellent. I ordered some Snowville Milk once and found the milk carton to be leaking. Then, you have a very personable, courteous, delivery man or woman assigned to you who comes to your door where you can place your orders from their catalogue that they give you for that time, or you can order ahead online (at least the day before) to place your order for when the driver arrives. Once the driver arrives, your order is retrieved from the delivery truck and you store your food in your own freezer. Sometimes, we even eat part of the food we ordered, for dinner that night. The company sends a txt reminder the day before your scheduled delivery so that you can place your order up to 11 pm prior to your delivery date. I have ordered at the door with the delivery person and online at least a day ahead of the scheduled delivery date so my food is already loaded on the truck. Both are equally easy. If you will not be available (out-of-town, etc) on your date of delivery, or you don't need food for that period, for whatever reason, the delivery person appreciates when we give them a "heads-up" by texting or calling him to indicate this, but that we will see them for the next scheduled delivery. Our driver appreciates such notices as this saves them having to stop needlessly. You choose from an amazing variety of fresh, frozen foods, ranging from tasty appetizers, to delicious entrées, desserts, and even drinks. It took them way longer than expected to complete the move (12 hours one day and had to come back the next day to finish for 8 hours or so!). The total bill charged ended up being way more (obviously) than I anticipated.... Way too expensive than the competitors. To make matters worse, during our move (8/11/2019), the movers scratched my hardwood floor but were prompt in recognizing the issue and submitting it right away to their "Claims" department (I doubt there is such a department as I have yet to receive a call from them or anyone from this company in the matter). I have been calling them constantly to follow up on the claim as I am in the process of finalizing a sale on my house and have still not gotten a resolution. I keep getting the run arounds every time I call them and never get any followup call backs as they always promise. It's 8/30/19 today and still no resolution and I am closing on my house in less than a week. My latest call conversation was on Wednesday, 8/28/19 and the representative promised he would give me a status update on the same day and still nothing 2 days later. Mind you, when they were partially down with the work on the first day, they requested payment to be made right before they could leave my house but it's taking them weeks to even attempt to process my claim. Our rate was $160/hour all inclusive, no minimum # of hours required. We had about 25 items moved, all big stuff like mattresses, washer, dryer, couch, dressers... it took them 3 hours, including 25 minute travel time. All payment can be made online via PayPal. Tommy, Mark and Matt, our movers, were phenomenal. They offered to move any item we wanted & were great conversationalist. While they deserved several breaks, they didn't stop until they were done. The service, friendliness and communication from booking the appointment to the last item moved exceeded my expectations. In general, hiring movers is worth every penny. I can not recommend Local Anything enough! The only complaint I had was they arrived an hour and a half later than the 2 hour buffer/service time. Though they quickly made up for that small annoyance.
