My mom and I stopped by this place after some shopping. We were very pleased by the food and the service. We were seated promptly and our server was nice. We ordered the large tom yum soup with shrimp in medium hot. The soup came with rice. It was good but a bit salty and hardly spicy for us. Although they say a large is good for 2, we both had a little more than 2 servings so I think it's good for 4 if you plan on ordering other entrees. We also ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp in medium spicy. I loved the noodles! Although it was a tad sweet and not really that spicy, it smelled amazing! I was quickly addicted but couldn't finish because the soup filled us up. The Thai iced tea was good too. It came with a flower made with the straw wrapper which I thought was a cute touch. As a vegetarian I am very picky about places. So I tried this place for lunch last week. I love to see so many vegetarian option in their menu. So I ordered pad kea mao with tofu, it came along with vegetarian soup, salad and 1 spring roll. The taste of all the dishes was great. I love the way they cook tofu and vegetables. I work close to this location and actually have them on speed dial. I can call, place my order, and pick it up ten minutes. I generally order the Thai fried rice with chicken. They are generous with the vegetables and chicken. I can usually get away with having leftovers for lunch the following day. All of the lunch specials come with an egg roll, salad, and a delicious coconut soup for under $10. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I had such a great experience here! I ordered he Pad Thai and he had #39. My Pad Thai was perfection. It looked and tasted great! My boyfriends dish was similar to a Vietnamese dish with the crispy noodles and sauce grazed over. His dish was also great in taste. There was a mess up on our order which led me to give this place a 4 star instead but it was okay and we did not complain. The staff is prompt and helpful and the place is sanitary. Pai Thai was delicious and the portion was more than enough. The Tom Yum was full of vegetables and delicious broth.

My wife and I used to eat here a lot. Service seemed to be declining so we stopped. I tried to give it another chance and get a quick lunch there today Only to be told they close at 3. That wasn't a problem except it was 2:35. The food is good but I will not be going there again. read more

I love Thai food. The heat, the freshness, the coconut, the peanut satisfies me to the core. This is a solid Thai restaurant. I have been waiting for it to open for the last few months. I would routinely check to see if it was open every time I left Target (it is around the corner but in the same strip mall as Target). Last night we gave it a go. Care has been taken to make the dining room pleasant. The seating is comfortable, the fabrics are interesting (I would love to have those tablecloths). The way the restaurant is laid out, there is a sense of intimacy that you don't always have in strip-mall restaurants. I had the Red Curry with tofu and ordered it hot. It was everything red curry is supposed to be- full of coconut milk, vegetables, Thai basil and heat. I could have taken it hotter and next time plan on asking for extra hot. My dining companions ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the Sizzling Beef. The Pad Thai was a little light on vegetables & not impressive but the Sizzling Beef arrived at the table literally "sizzling". Every dish was full of flavor and we cleaned our plates. All entrees start with a small Thai Salad which was perfectly seasoned. We finished by sharing a tapioca pudding- lovely green tapioca with coconut milk and whipped cream- very nice. Why only four stars? The waitress was a little off her game and even though the dining room was fairly empty, didn't refill drinks until asked and then it was after the entrees were done (with Thai food you sometimes need that refill). Also, the Pad Thai needs a little something extra to make it special. Every Thai restaurant does Pad Thai and the great ones distinguish themselves by making their version memorable. I had the Ginger Tea but was happy to see that they also offer Chrysanthemum Tea (a personal favorite). They also have the usual Thai Tea and Coffee. This is a new restaurant and I'm sure that they will work out the kinks. I will definitely be back to find out! read more

I love Thai food and was so excited to have it available in Plainfield! I have tried many dishes on the menu, and loved them all. I would say the curries are my personal favorite, and I also love the silver noodles. The soups are great as well. Thom Kah Gai (sp?) is my favorite with its coconut and lemongrass broth. The lunch specials are great. They each come with a petite salad, a small bowl of soup, two fried appetizers and your entree. It is a great bargain and nice presentation. The fried bananas and sweet sticky rice with mango are delicious too. Can you tell I like to eat? :-) The only thing I would change is that I would like to see more vegetables (cucumber, onion and tomato and mint leaves) and less lettuce on their salads. The dumplings are a great appetizer but you get plenty with your dinner unless you're already planning on taking home leftovers for an epic breakfast:).
