We were hosting some friends for dinner and in searching for a Thai restaurant in the Livonia area we opted to give Thai O-sha a try even though they were a bit of a drive from our house. The reviews for the other Thai restaurants were all over the road and the only thing we found consistent about those reviews was that they weren't consistent and a number of them were older. For these reasons, we passed on the other restaurants. However, the reviews for Thai O-sha were both consistent and fairly recent, which put us at ease about ordering from them. Rather than calling in the order we opted to drive to the restaurant and place the order. This gave us an opportunity to check out the restaurant while we were waiting rather than quickly walking in and walking out had we called the order in. We were quickly greeted as we walked into the restaurant and was handed a menu. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, mild, and the Chicken Pad See Ew, mild. As we waited for the food to be prepared we looked around the restaurant and noticed how clean and bright it was. We both mentioned that we would be comfortable eating in the restaurant next time. The food arrived nice & hot less than 10 minutes after ordering. It certainly smelt good but the real test would come once we got home and served it to friends. It was about a 15 minute drive back to our house and another 15 minutes before our guests arrived. Nonetheless, when we opened the containers the food was still hot. Each of us sampled both dishes and all of us agreed that the food tasted great and that the ingredients were fresh. They didn't overdo the peanuts on the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew wasn't drowning in sauce, as is the case in some Thai restaurants. Also, we enjoyed the fact that the food wasn't saturated with salt. Overall, each of us enjoyed the food and my wife and I plan on returning. read more

Customer service is super friendly awesome and the veggie spring rolls and crab Rangoon is by far way above par. Way better than your standard chinese restaurant. And the pad Thai is way more flavorful than other Thai places I've been around in the area. Curry wasn't as thick as I like but sauce was still so flavorful. read more

I will NEVER order from here again....I'm not sure if their short on money but never again I ordered crab ragoons and I got nothing but cream cheese so when I went back I told them to refund my money and they wouldn't I almost got the police involve but I just said skip it...I'll make sure people who interested eating here know about my experience. read more

Stopped in on a whim and ordered my favorite - Pad Thai with fried tofu, extra peanuts. This was my first visit but won't be my last, I've found my new favorite place for Thai food! Very friendly staff, super quick, and the food is great! I ordered it hot and I'd say it was closer to medium but I still loved it and and to be honest, the flavors were able to shine without all that heat I usually have. I was happy that they served it with lime because so many places give you a lemon wedge and it's just not the same. I'd probably order it with a little extra bean sprouts next time as there weren't a lot but that's just my preference. Can't wait to try the drunken noodles next time! read more

Decided to try this last night. We were looking for good Thai food. We were a little nervous when we pulled in. It's in a tiny location with not much seating. The staff in the kitchen were having a very loud argument. But we were there so we gave it a try. The food was delicious. The hot and sour soup was so good it melted away any anxieties we had. Looking for a place to eat using other Yelp Reviews....I was not disappointed that I made the drive from my hotel to this Thai restaurant. More of a take-out than an eat-in, but I decided to stay and eat and I'm glad I did. Refreshingly friendly family owned and operated. I got to meet at least three family members and have some great conversation as well as delicious food. Quite a few people stopped in to pick up orders proclaiming that this was their first time visiting as well, so the secret must be getting out. I had Tom Kha Gai soup and Red Curry Vegetables with white rice. The spice was PERFECT thanks to the great questions asked by my server. She also did a fantastic job of explaining the menu items to the new patrons. Im so glad that finally I have another Thai option near me! I decided to try this place even though at first glance it looks iffy being set in a mini strip mall. I have found that in most cases these are the beat places to eat. I walked in and noticed it was very small just a few tables so Im guessing this restaurant is mostly geared towards take out. The few times I have been here since the initial time I have been the inly one dining inside. However a lot of people have gotten carry out. Every time I was greeted by a friendly server and my order was taken promptly. I love the fact that they have the prawn chips because lets face it whats thai food without them! I ordered my usual dish of mixed veggies with the red coconut milk thai curry. The dish I ordered normally came with a brown sauce but my substitution was not a problem for the chef. I also ordered a spring roll. The food came out hot and fresh, good portions and seasoned just right. The server was attentive to my drinks and bringing me boxes for my leftovers. Prices are great and as always I get a bag of shrimp chips to go for around a dollar. If your ever craving some good Thai food stop in and gibe this place a try. read more

Hello so happy finally visit this new Thai food restaurant, got all 5 star rating in 6 months. Found warm welcome by Bri in a small clean dining room with beautiful decorative wall hanging. Wows Free Soup at lunch time dining in only, out Bri comes 2 Hot n Sour Sour absolutely my favorite. Talking with owner found she worked over a decade top Thai spots Metro Detroit AH HA that explains the mad skills she has. A one woman show making all dishes with Love leaving the kitchen. Tom Kha Gai got the biggest bowl OMG very best ever filled with Chicken and outrageous flavor. Chicken Satay with both Peanut Butter and Cucumber Sauce spot on. Pad Pad with Beef wife's selection another fabulous dish. Me Gang Keaw Warn medium spice Wows Green Curry n Pork sliced right at my heat level delicious over white rice. Definitely mediocre Thai food. Order was crab Rangoon and pad Thai curry. Crab Rangoon was way understaffed and tasted like only cream cheese. The pad Thai curry spice was perfectly to what I ordered, very large portion. The noodles were soggy and overcooked, and the chicken was bland. I would definitely take the extra time and drive to Bangkok 96. For 20$ I would expect a little more than what was given as far as food quality. read more
