It's no Tom Yum Thai but the food was tasty and the service was great. The papaya salad and satay was very good. I ordered the green curry Thai hot but I'd put the spice level more at medium. Got take out the only time I ordered here and it was AMAZING. My husband got Pad Thai which he loved and said there was plenty of good quality meat. I got the coconut vegetable curry with lots of veggies and even avocado slices - a nice twist. The manager was very friendly. I would go here to sit down after seeing how beautiful it was inside. This is the only Thai restaurant I go to. The online ordering is convenient. I usually order a shrimp or vegetable pad kee mao (drunken noodle) which is delicious, especially the shrimp. The larb chicken is refreshing and has a bit of a kick. read more

We have been here three times over the last year and the food is delicious! Our favorites are the drunken noodles with shrimp and the Thai Lotus Noodle Bowl with chicken. They also have a kids meal with very generous portions of chicken, rice, and broccoli with a sweet and sour sauce. Our 6-year old and 2-year old love it! Definitely a must try! The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because sometimes the service isn't top notch. However, tonight our service was great, so maybe it's improving in that department. read more

Atmosphere is very nice with elegant music. Maybe Monday's at 12:45 aren't the best time to come. The place was dead and it took a while to get my order placed. I ordered the Pad woon sen and the chicken was a bit rubbery and I'm not sure some pieces were completely cooked. The noodles and veggies were cooked perfectly and piping hot. Tried to grab a quick dinner... HUGE MISTAKE! It took more than an hour to get my food. I was told the kitchen was backed up. It happens but when it does there is NO reason that tables that come in 30 min+ after me should get their appetizers before I get the pad Thai I ordered when I sat down. Went to Publix and and happened to notice Thai Lotus as I drove thru the parking lot...wow am I glad it caught the corner of my eye! We had Tom Yum Shrimp Soup and Nam Tok Beef Salad which was tremendous. Our entree was Spicy Basil Duck which was crispy deliciousness. Two of us split everything and it was just the right amount of food. Percy (owner) greeted us at the door and checked in with us a couple times during our visit. I wanted to love this place. It's so close and convenient. But I just was not impressed with the flavor of the food. I don't mean that it needs to be hotter. That's fine. It was the depth of the flavor. It just wasn't there. We ordered take out. We got the chicken cashew nut and the broccoli lovers. It was just meh. I found I needed to add fish sauce and soy sauce. I have enjoyed Thai Lotus four times so far. I'm sure there will be many more! I'm hooked on their calamari appetizer. Delicious and a gracious plenty! I tried their red curry the first time, and the Penang curry twice (loved it!), the drunken noodle was also terrific! Still exploring the menu, but everything so far has been great. After searching and searching I finally found my go to Asian restaurant. I have very high standards regarding restaurants and this place meets all my requirements. A sanitation score that is above 95 and clean. It may be pricey but it's totally worth it. The depth of the flavors served here are astonishing and well defined. You can tell that the food is authentic. The owners are very friendly and have a welcoming presence to them. I'll most definitely be back. read more

I stumbled upon Thai Lotus one day as I was taking my kids to get pizza next door. First impressions when walking in are great. It's well appointed and has a nice bar in front. I ordered pad thai (with a little spice) with tofu to go and had the chance to meet the owner who was friendly and pleasant to talk with. When I got home and took my first bite of the pad thai I knew I would be back again and again. Thai is my favorite and this restaurant has delicious food. I contacted Thai Lotus about purchasing a gift card. They said yes they had them. When I arrived the employees couldn't find the cards. After five minutes of searching, he took a used one out of a pile on the counter and added (or I think he added) the amount I wanted via the computer. Then he handed me the card. It was dirty and had greasy fingerprints all over it. When I asked if it could be cleaned the young woman took it and proceeded to wipe it down with Windex, including the metallic strip on the back. When I protested that this could make the card unreadable, I was told it probably wouldn't. I asked if the balance could be checked to be sure the amount was still on the card. The young man couldn't figure out how to do that so he printed me a paper receipt and told me to have my friend bring it with him in case the card doesn't work. I was and am incredulous at the lack of professionalism. When you give a person a gift card you don't also want to include a receipt! And the real kicker? The card is still filthy. I couldn't wait any longer (I had already been there 20 minutes) and the owner was not available, but I can't recommend this restaurant. What a mess. read more

Crew is still ironing out service. Sounds amazing based on reviews and the dishes we saw looked very good. After being seated for 20 min we were unable to get the waiter to our table for drinks or order. The dining room was full but not crazy. Decided to call in our order from the table for take out, but the call went to voice mail after several rings. Could have accepted this as growing pains except there were parties who arrived after us that were placing orders at the bar seats :-( We will try again in a few weeks. I really think it's the best thai restaurant in the area. Everything is very fresh here. The fresh shrimp basil rolls are my favorite appetizer, they prepare them to order and not ahead of time and you can tell the difference. They have GF symbols right on the menu, so my options are the curries or pad thai. The curry is thicker and richer than most places and they use some ingredients that I've not seen in thai curry before, like zucchini or even avocado in the massman. I don't know if that's authentic or not, but I like it and it works. I can handle spice so for me even medium is somewhat mild. If you want truly spicy just ask them to use fresh thai chiles. The restaurant is always impeccably clean, the servers are nice and the food comes out quickly. The owner truly cares about the establishment and is willing to hear feedback. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight and it was amazing. Very quaint place with no wait on a Saturday night made me nervous. I was so wrong. Our waiter was friendly and informative. We had Nam Tok Beef for an appetizer. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. My husband got the drunken noodles and I got the spicy papaya salad.
